He was quick to arrive, asked a few questions about what outlets were working and which ones were not working. He said he had seen this before and quickly went to work on the outlet that the contractor had plugged an air compressor into when he was working. The vibration from the compressor had loosened the wires in the back of the outlet causing all of the outlets downstream of the problem outlet to stop working (due to being wired in series). We realized that they're not 'all the same'. Not only do great tradesmen do the job right (which should NEVER be assumed), show up when promised, and communicate clearly, but they're also experts. And if you ask and listen to someone like Sammy, he'll provide advice based on his experience. Be honest with yourself: you're probably not an electrician. He is.
