Very professional and effective. My 17 year old son dropped his deodorant in the toilet as he was flushing it (at least it wasn't his phone). Taylor from Petersen Plumbing had to remove the toilet to get the deodorant out but it was quickly done and a lot less expensive than the triceratops that my son had deliberately flushed down the toilet when he was 3. Installed a tankless water heater for our condo unit. Was able to identify a gas line we could use that was of the right specs, and had been for an old radiator heater (removed long ago). This saved cost versus running a new line from the gas meter. Others who quoted on the job didn't notice this savings opportunity. Also identified a good location for the water heater outside. Was very pleased with the service provided by Petersen's. Had something stuck either in the garbage disposal or the drainpipe. The service person arrived on time, in fact a little early as I had mentioned it was important that I leave at a certain time. He was friendly, found the problem, and kept everything clean. Called because I needed a plumber to check out my rental home in Tiburon before my next tenants were to move in. The toilets were sluggish, I thought I was smelling weird smells, and I don't know a thing about plumbing. Somehow I ended up calling the owners cell phone for a service call...he showed up, and checked everything out, gave me a detailed analysis of my plumbing issues and options on the spot. I had an emergency plumbing situation, where I needed to get everything fixed by 5:00- condo rules. I had found a plumbing service I had used before, and arranged for them to come out. They called at met 3:30 and told me that he was going to be delayed for at least 90 minutes. Desperate, I found Petersen plumbing on line and called them. They had a guy show up by 10 to 5. 20 minutes later all was fixed, and fixed well. They had a replacement valve for the one I had damaged trying to stop the leak myself. read more

Several years ago we had Taylor Peterson ( himself) install 2 tankless water heaters. From the beginning we were not pleased with the wait for hot water but Taylor told us that it was working fine. Today we had another plumber come to service the units. They are both installed too close to outside adjoining walls. One vent is too close to the dryer vent ( 6") And is sucking lint into the unit. The outside vent should point down to prevent water running back into the unit. Ours points up slightly and the water has corroded the fan housing. Taylor connected both units to undersized gas pipes so the units and starved for fuel and that it why the hot water took so long. Also none of the pipes he installed had insulation as required. The over flow pipe was sealed because the unit is too close to the door and there was no room for it so he just sealed it which resulted in more problems. Decide for your self. It will cost more than $1000.00 to correct his mistakes. read more
