    Whoooooweeeeeeee!!

What a cozy little spot! Bustling atmosphere inside, don't be surprised if there's a wait, even on a weekday! That being said they turn over table very quickly. Excellent service from start to finish, both friendly and communicative. South of the Border Omelette was top notch, Juevos rancheros were a thing of beauty and the Mexican skillet was an absolute behemoth of savory goodness. Also, saw someone on a different review complain about the coffee. Couldn't disagree more. Stronger than a double shot at a dive bar but I like it that way.

    Classic egg breakfast

When stepping into Pete's Egg Nest it certainly brings a cozy nest feeling. The ambiance is certainly my favorite aspect apart from the service. Martha was an amazing server. Her and her coworker worked very well together, smoothly accommodating everyone at each of the 15 tables full of customers. Including me and three other people at the bar. If you are looking for a quick classic diner experience this is the place to be! The only downside was the biscuit was not as good as I expected, but you can't have it all. Highly recommend the crepes!

Solid traditional diner! Got their Swedish pancakes and Italian sausage omelette, both were delicious. They are very quick to refill your coffee, which I always appreciate. Street parking might sometimes be tough but I usually find something, even on weekends. Overall I'd definitely come back!

2 eggs scrambled, fresh fruit, biscuit with jam

Great Place! We love stopping here when we visit Seattle. The menu is large enough to appeal to many tastes, but not too large to not be able to do all the items well. The homemade raspberry jam was a nice touch on the biscuit, and if you're a fresh fruit eater, it's actually fresh! Definitely worth the stop!

This place is amazing. It's kind of like a nice home feeling where everybody is super friendly and very nice. The food is fantastic. The service is amazing above and beyond and I really recommend this to anybody that comes. I am close to some pictures of what Pete's eggs nest looks like and believe me you will not be disappointed if you come dine here..

    Kielbasa scramble

Super warm and cozy brunch spot. We came for Sunday brunch and waited about 20 min for a seat. This is basically the same place as the egg and us in Ballard, which I've also been to, but this place is smaller. I ordered a kielbasa scramble off their specials menu and it was pretty good. It wasn't mind blowing haha but if you're craving some simple breakfast foods, this place got you. Service is friendly and quick. Would visit again, but not this location just because it's small and would have a longer wait.

Cornbeef hash with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and biscuits

Visited this little restaurant to get some breakfast before my flight out of Seattle. They have a small dining area, very welcoming. The waitresses greeted us as we came in. Looked at the menu which they did have a lot of pork products but they did have turkey sausage, beef sausage too. I ordered the corned beef hash, and I have to say, The best part of that dish was the hashbrowns and oh my gosh their biscuits are yummy. Really enjoyed the biscuits. The eggs were cooked the way I wanted them. I really didn't enjoy the corned beef hash, I've had better. Their menu is a little too pricey to me, corn beef hash breakfast that was like $20. I spent a little over $20 and my husband was thinking about getting a cheeseburger but the cheeseburger, I can't remember it was either like between $15-$16. Like $16 for a cheeseburger was diabolical, so he declined. I really wanted some eggs so we decided to eat here.

This felt like a cozy homecooked meal. We enjoyed our breakfast from the traditional eggs with toast, I had the egg scramble, pancakes. Very good.

We got there around 1 on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. The pancakes were nice and fluffy! The Mexican breakfast was ok. And the Guadalajara chiliquiles was good! Service was pretty fast too. It definitely had a cozy feel!

The menu changes weekly, they try to use locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We started with cocktails. My wife got a perfect Manhattan and I asked for an east side cocktail. That was new to the bartender but she was willing and it turned out to be delicious! Great mix of mint, cucumber and lime. Then we shared 4 dishes: sardine tartine, dal soup, an heirloom tomato and cucumber salad and the halibut entree. Literally everything was delicious. I lived the flavors of the dal soup--cumin, coriander, mustard seed. The tomatoes were super fresh on top of a creamy marscapone. And the halibut was perfectly cooked, with a crispy top and flaky body. I only wish we lived here and could visit more often!

They do take reservations, and there was a small line of people already waiting outside when the restaurant opened at 10 AM. The interior is cozy and warm..,the servers were all friendly and attentive! We ordered a mini baguette with butter and jam, along with a side of sausage and eggs, and their sweet Dutch baby! Everything was delicious! They did let us know in advance that the Dutch babies would take about 30 minutes, but it is worth the wait! It came out piping hot, oozing with blueberries and lemon ricotta! My only regret was not being able to try other things since we were headed to Pike Place right after, but I definitely do want to try their other Dutch babies / dinner items in the future!

We came in around 1:45pmish and it wasn't crowded. They had an amazing selection of pastries, though I didn't try any. I got their Caramelized Banana Latte to satisfy my sweet tooth, and it wasn't too banana-flavored nor too sweet; the black sesame in it balanced it nicely. I also got the Urban Pesto, which was SO yum. I was little skeptical of the focaccia - sometimes I find it to be too puffy, and thus hard to eat the sandwich - but this had a lovely panini press on it that made it easy to eat. The in-house herby cheese in the sandwich made each bite just that much more delicious. The staff was also super nice and accommodating to my parents' requests and questions. Can't wait to come back to try their other food and bev options!

It's nice to watch the staff cook because it tells you that the food is fresh. I have high expectations for seafood in Seattle. However, I was disappointed with the scallops as it tasted raw and cool to the touch in the center.
