Roughly two years ago, I was at this plaza, at Burger King's drive-thru, getting food. When I left this plaza, I noticed Petit Delights Desserts. For someone who enjoys hitting a bakery, I'm not sure why I didn't drop by. A couple of evenings ago, I was on my DoorDash app, browsing. This bakery popped up. I checked out its desserts. Dessert cups. Croissants. Macarons. I had to visit this store. I had debated whether the prices on DoorDash would be marked up compared to getting items at the store. I decided to do the latter. I would learn that the prices on DoorDash match those posted at the store. One word: excellent! I came here after working from home on a Wednesday. It is in a plaza with lots of parking. All parking spots in front of this bakery were taken. I ended up backing into an available spot in front of the walk-in clinic. This dessert place is huge. I walked in and loved seeing what felt like an endless train of dessert cases with everything a baked goods lover would dream of. The downside was a male staffer who kept on pacing. I don't know if his role was to be a fake security person or to instill an awkward, uncomfortable vibe. He succeeded with the latter to a certain extent. I felt it, but ended up ignoring him when I focused on all desserts that I wanted. He truly needs to cut out the pacing. It's unnecessary. It's the reason why this review doesn't get five stars. I wanted to get macarons. I like sharing them with a friend at work. This place already had six assorted and a dozen assorted ones in boxes. However, you got six or a dozen different flavours, respectively. I like having two each of the same flavour, so that my friend and I can taste-test the same flavour and comment. I got the nicest, most patient woman. I let her know that I wanted a dozen macarons. She nodded and we walked over to the display case. I got two each of the following macaron flavours: - Raspberry - Red velvet - Coconut - Lime - Pistachio - Mango I then looked at the three types of tiramisu cups. Wow! I got the pistachio tiramisu. It was different. This woman put my items in a paper bag. I signed up for points at this bakery by entering my cell phone number. I then paid with a credit card. Done! I thanked this woman for all her help. She seemed appreciative and wished me a great day. I reciprocated. I headed to my car and drove off to fetch some dinner before heading home. I had the pistachio tiramisu for dessert after dinner. I loved it. There were chopped pistachios with some pistachio flavouring in the mascarpone. It had ladyfingers that were soaked in coffee. It had the perfect sweetness. I appreciated the twist on a classic dessert. The woman at the store said that I could get six of anything and not pay any tax. I guess that was the case with my dozen macarons. I brought them into work to share with my friend. He went to Paris last year. I recommended that he get macarons while he was there. I like that we taste-test macarons together because he has had authentic macarons. These macarons were outstanding. My friend said that they were the best that he has had. His favourite was the mango. It had a natural mango sweetness to it. All macarons had crispy, yummy shells. Although I'm not sure why the coconut ones were blue, I loved how it tasted like real coconut. I loved all of them. My top three were coconut, raspberry, and lime. So good! We agreed that this place is a keeper. I need to return for croissants, crepes, and a whole lot more. This bakery is such a gem in the Malvern-Scarborough area. It's open until 2 am, which is insane. If I have a hankering for dessert at midnight, I'm driving over here for my fix. (109)

Petit Delight Desserts is such a gem--the calm atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax, and the huge selection of desserts is amazing. The staff are super friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations to make choosing easier. l tried the Nutella brownie and Biscoff Basbousa. Parking is plentiful in the plaza, and I'll definitely be returning to try more items!

There are two line ups - one for pre paid orders and one if you want to order then and there. Some things are daily specials so it really depends what you're looking for. We had the coconut pandas cookie - the Cooke is baked well with great texture. The cookie is crispy and the coconut pandan jelly adds a nice coconut flavor. There's a caramel that adds a sweetness to it. Would definitely try more cookies again. We also got a variety of cake cups. The nice think about cake cups is they're all moist - no dry cakes here! Pistachio honey - reminded me of a baklava - little heavy on the honey side that overpowered the pistachios but still pretty good. Not bad but was hoping for strong pistachio - 4/5. If you like baklava, you'll like this more than me. Coffee crunch - really great coffee flavor - nice and bold. The slight bitterness of the coffee really helps temper the sweetness of the other ingredients. A really good one for coffee lovers - 5/5. Chestnut - good chestnut flavor. Again this one had a good balance of sweetness with chestnut flavor. 5/5. Hojicha vanilla - a really good take on a japanese tea flavored cake. Has a really nice delicate flavor of tea with the slight bitterness tempering the sweetness . 5/5. Price: it's pricey so this isn't your everyday treat but it is amazing which will wow anyone you want to impress with flavor and display.

Kaya, kaya jam, or coconut jam is a sweet spread made from a base of coconut milk, eggs, sugar and sometimes pandan leaves as a flavouring; this cafe uses pandan. It is popular throughout Southeast Asia. We love kayaking toast. We ordered the following: 1. Kaya Butter Toast ($4.99). 2. Hojicha Kaya ButterToast ($5.99). 3. Matcha Kaya Butter Toast ($5.99). 4. House Thai Milk Tea($6.95). 5. Viet Coffee Latte ($5.50). 6. Hot Chocolate Cloud ($6.95). 7. Chrysanthemum Lychee (reg $5.95) + birthday decorations (+$0.50) or free on your birthday. The kaya is so smooth and tasty. It takes them a long time to manually stir it to get the right consistency. We appreciate the work that goes into it! We've never had flavoured kaya before; they were good too. The Hot Chocolate Cloud drink was so very good and visually impressive! The hot chocolate was good but I was also impressed by the toast marshmallow taste and the subtleness of the whipped cream. The ice cream flavour is so good. And it was nicely decorated. They can put a candle on top but we chose not to have it. Review 2025-250

The shop feels bright and welcoming, and the staff were very friendly as well. If you are tea lover or enjoy unique gelato flavours, this is definitely a spot worth visiting.

Tried a few things and there was more than enough food for 4 adults and 2 kids. This place has this Kamayan platter box that has good variety and is great for sharing. Will get to that later. Also this was take out so went to pick it up. First thing they suggested was the Caldereta Royale. This was a poutine but with stewed beef, carrots and peas and gravy. Quite tasty. Next we got a fried adobo chicken on rice also pretty good. Chicken was crispy and I was smelling it all the way home and couldn't wait to dive in when I got home. Now for the main, we ordered the Kamayan box that we saw on instagram. 5 different proteins, bed of seasoned rice, nice shrimps and fried eggs. Everything worked really well together. My parents were over and they ate with us, never trying Filipino food before. They loved it. The flavours and the sauce that came with it... Just delicious, and a must try. Food was more than enough for all of us, and I have left overs for lunch tomorrow. The staff here are super nice people. Patient with me as I couldn't decide what to order and through our great ideas. Also gave me something for free to try which was delicious as well. Would definitely be going back, amazing experience.

The rose tea flavour was sooo good, I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did but it was the perfect mix of floral, sweet, and tea flavoured. I love how nothing tastes artificial. For around $10, it's a pretty solid place to grab some dessert. The only downside is that they have very limited seating here. We got lucky because a table was just leaving as we arrived, so we managed to snag a small table to sit and chat. But it still gets very crammed in there when there's usually a line that runs along the same area as their seating. This spot is best if you're coming to hang with one person, otherwise it's not very accommodating for groups due to the limitations of their space. Even still, you might not score a seat right away especially if you're coming during peak hours.

The black sesame matcha and red bean layer+ crystal jelly matcha caught my eye! Note that the space is small and there are only a few tables to sit around.
