Iced coffee was refreshing I came back the next morning for another round. It was flavorful yet not sugary. It definitely gave me a kick and got addicted to it, except I'm only in the area for 4 days. Staff and manager were friendly yet professional. Although I was charged twice, the manager assured me they would fix it once the line was manageable. Somehow I trusted her word for it, just the manner with which she handled it was text book! Indeed, saw the overcharged taken care of by the next day. A must stop in downtown historic Charleston for sure! Great awesome pastries, sandwiches Parisian style made and clean refreshing breakfast beverages. This is the best patisserie option which actually lives up to its name, unlike those wannabe k ones!!!

Has indoor and outdoor seating with display case for all the pastries and food they serve Food: crossiant, chocolate banana crossiant and iced vanilla latte. The crossiant was light and fluffy and not too overly buttery. The chocolate banana crossiant had a good proportion of filling to pastry so it wasn't overly full but you were able to get the flovor I. Each bite. The ice vanilla latte was good, not too sweet. Parking: it's on king street in Charleston so some side street parking but parking may be much difficult on weekends. It is a walkable area

Lots of plants and gives a cozy small coffee shop vibe. Food: Got the avocado toast, whipped ricotta toast and iced vanilla latte. The iced vanilla latte was really good, smooth flavorful. The avocado toast was fresh and the lime wedge definitely brought a lot of flavor. The whipped ricotta was very tasty and was not too sweet but had some jam and pistachios on top. Parking: didn't see parking but it is a close walking distance from kings street which is the main area to shop and walk around. Also, a lot of cars park on sides of street

Babas on Cannon is a cute little neighborhood café that we stopped into while exploring Charleston…read more Their specialty is peanut milk drinks, which sounded interesting enough that we had to try them. I ordered the peanut milk matcha, and my husband got one of their peanut milk coffee drinks. I really enjoyed the matcha. It had a subtle peanut butter flavor that made it feel unique without being overwhelming. It was definitely something different from the usual matcha latte and a fun thing to try. The café itself has a cozy, laid-back vibe. They also serve cocktails, which I wasn't expecting. While we were there, lots of people were ordering the shrimp toast and other food items from the café menu, all of which looked really good. It was busy but not overwhelmingly crowded, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. A great spot to grab a drink, people-watch, and take a break from exploring the city.

We're not so entitled but feeling even a little bit welcome is always nice. I ordered the FRUITY PEBBLE MATCHA because this really is a winning combination. Loved it. Husband ordered the DRIP COFFEE and wasn't really a fan. Would go back for that fruity pebble matcha.

The menu had no prices and I did not feel a friendly welcome - I honestly don't remember getting greeted at all. We go to the register to take a peek at the menu but it was awkward silence between the cashier & I, so my sister and I decide to sit and wait for the rest of our crew. Once they arrived, I noticed they didn't get greeted as well. It's the small things that go a long way. My cousin then goes up with us to order & we have to initiate conversation first cause the cashier looks at us - mind you it's 10:30ish am and the past 2 items he tries to order, they're sold out of. At this point I didn't even feel like ordering cause we didn't feel welcomed but then I go ahead & try - their cold foam situation was confusing and so I just ended up not ordering anything. Out of the 4 of us, my little sister was the only one to get a drink and she said it wasn't good. But anyways yeah don't go here lol and this was July 20th when it happened. I mean unless you're white then maybe you'll get treated nicely idk but I wasn't going to give them my business cause like I said simple & small things go a long way.
