Cucumber, lemon whipped cream cheese, yum!! Maman, I think you should add this to your menu. Just the whipped lemon cream cheese and veggies on focaccia. I would respectfully suggest that maman add hooks underneath the seating area within their space so that people can sit and enjoy their food and beverages while they can hang their tote bags or jackets underneath the area where they're sitting. Petite Maman is the typical Maman that I have tried in my neighborhood. I'm not a fan of this overpriced chain. I thought I remembered having some sort of spinach pie here so I stopped in today to take a look around. The place was crowded and it's a grab and go so I would need to find a seat somewhere. The window didn't have stools like the previous bakery in this location. I decided it's okay to take a pastry home one day but I doubt I'll return. I got the smoked salmon croissant sandwich and the banana chocolate walnut bread. The smoked salmon croissant sandwich was absolutely delicious. It was full of greens, had a good portion of smoked salmon, and the croissant was covered everything seasoning, which paired nicely with the other components of the sandwich. I would definitely come back for the banana chocolate walnut bread. It was moist and had a rich chocolate flavor. I'm a huge fan for moist banana bread and would come back here alone just for the bread. They have a huge assortment of pastries that looked very appetizing. This location fixed the address finally. I've noticed they put very, very loud music on purpose to workers themselves not for the customers. So, I put 3 stars off. They themselves dancing and singing but we, our customers can't talk at all. If you're coming to do your work or any meeting at this cafe, avoid. This is not a club, I felt too much actually. This used to be Mah-Ze-Dahr, a much loved bakery. A small drip coffee and a sweet treat. But what? I saw a Bundt cake that had not been cut. I like Bundt cakes a lot so asked Chris to give me a hefty slice. I took both to the counter seating and peaked into the packet containing the cake. It was big! However, the crumb topping was crunchy and tasty but the cake itself was bland. It needed more flavor as in vanilla, cinnamon or nutmeg. Nevertheless, I ate it all. We happened upon Maman after a quick Yelp search and decided to give it a shot. We ordered coffee (black for my husband and a lavender latte with oat milk for me), avocado toast, quiche, and overnight oats -- as well as some ground coffee to go. Everything was delicious, especially my latte and quiche. It's clear that Maman knows what they are doing as it appears they now have 30ish locations for their cafés, they offer shipping on their branded goods including coffee and a cookbook, they offer catering, host events, and much more. I stopped on for a quick bite since I was running around all day and Maman is in the same building as one of my appointments. It was around 12:30 when I stopped in and it was quite empty. I ordered the Honey Lavender (hot) latte and the Brioche breakfast bun. The latte was delish- was ready within a minute or 2. The bun took over 5 minutes to get. Once I started to eat it, it was lukewarm but I didn't mind. It tasted so good- the bacon, cheese were perfect. But when I got to the egg which was in the middle, it was cold. Very disappointing. It tasted good, but the chill took away from the overall experience. The lunch crowd was coming in and I didn't want to wait for the staff to reheat it. Minus a star for this. I've learned that Maman changes menus and items are different at each location. I came here for tomato soup thinking it'd be yearround but they only had minestrone. I was hesitant as my first minestrone soup experience at a Brooklyn Italian restaurant was a nightmare, but I wanted vegetarian soup so I went for it. It was great! I could've done without or with less cheese. The grilled cheese was not yellow cheese was also smaller bread and seemingly skimpy. The pomegranate juice sounded good but again their drinks are high in added sugars so I'm done. Pomegranate is literally so sweet on its own not necessary to add sugar. The reason they're not getting 5 stars is because the table was sticky and they weren't busy. Being both a manager of service jobs and an employee in service i literally expect and know it's too easy if you're a cashier or busser or greeter when you have nothing going on pay attention and spot clean. Earn the easiest check of life. Anyway, seems a meeting hot spot for professionals working in the area so I was surrounded by interesting meetings. This location doesn't have Wi-Fi! I did not have a great experience here and will not be returning back. I came here on a Sunday around 9:30 am. There are 2 lines: 1 for to-go and 1 if you want a table. I wanted a table so I stood off to the side, which is what I was told. A couple came in after me and also wanted a table. They were told that they would have to wait for a table just like me 5 minutes ago. There was a table by the front that needed to be cleaned up. The couple sat at the table; which is fine because I thought maybe they would just wait there and then move after the table was cleared. One of the servers goes to this couple to get their order. I told him that I was waiting for a table in line first. The girl in the couple looks at me and says that the guy at the counter told her to sit there; to which I responded that I was waiting in line first. They clearly saw that I was there before them. The girl even agreed that I was there first but "that's what she was told to do". She also had attitude for no reason. Then another table opens up. The server asks THE COUPLE if they wanted to sit at the table they were originally at or if they wanted to move to the new table. I was there first: why wasn't I asked about where I wanted to sit?? The couple decides to stay at the original table. I tell the server that I would like to sit at whatever table opens up first. He said they would clean the new table up and that I could sit there I go to the new table that just opened up. A man in a wheelchair needed to sit at a table. The server asks me if I would be okay sharing the table with him. I said I didn't mind. The man had all his food and coffee ready to go at our table. I have to flag down a server to order my honey lavender latte. I get my latte and sit and journal. 45 minutes to an hour after I get my latte, the server gives me a cookie. That was a nice gesture that I appreciated. He also decided to offer me water at this point. I asked if the cookie had nuts in it and it did unfortunately. I told him I was allergic so I couldn't eat it. He said maybe a croissant would work but never comes back with anything. At this point, I was done with my latte and done journaling so I was ready to head out. I also noticed that he didn't give me a cookie or make any nice gestures until AFTER the couple left. Why did he take so long to make a nice gesture? I flag a different server so I can pay and leave. The server asked if I moved tables and I said no..... he goes and asks the guy that offered me a cookie where my check was. The guy gave me my latte on the house. Overall, I appreciate the effort in trying to make amends for the poor customer experience. The muffin is a the same cake as the lavender but a different flavor. It had a pistachio cream in it. It's pleasant. The maman pastry is a circular croissant in a sticky syrup.
