I was terrified by the thought that sewage would come pouring into the house. I know someone who had that happen and it was a nightmare. Mr. Sweeney had the most up to date equipment available. He ran a camera down through the toilet to see what was happening - and it was bad. The roots of a massive cherry tree had gone into the pipe and clogged it. When the backhoe started digging, they found a full septic tank the house was built in the 1950s. Unbelievable. It was just left there when the house was connected to the township sewer system. The full septic tank sat there for decades apparently. We had no idea when we bought this house 3 years ago - maybe the previous owner didn't know - or maybe they knew and did not disclose it. The sewer pipe zig zagged across the yard to avoid the septic tank! It's surprising this crazy mess lasted as long as it did. The tank was pumped out and broken into pieces. Mr. Sweeney did not increase the cost !! So now we have a proper sewer pipe to the township system - and the full septic tank is gone. I am so grateful to Mr. Sweeney, his son and his crew for helping us. And he is an incredibly nice guy! He briefed us every step of the way. Sweeney's Mechanical is absolutely the best !!

Their quote was a good price and they even found a better plan for the install that cost us less money. The install was great; the township inspector actually said it was one of the cleaner installs he'd seen. We love our new heat pump and everything is working great. If we'd stopped there, this would be a five star review. However, they still needed to fix a couple of things, remove our old oil tank and give us the purchase information for the warranty on the system. At that point, all communication stopped. They did not respond to phone calls or texts for several months until, on a hunch, I called them from a different number. One of the owners actually picked up, PRETENDED TO HAVE PHONE PROBLEMS, and hung up on me. At that point, we hired a lawyer. It took more time, but eventually they did make good on their promises. And, to be fair, they didn't ask for the remaining money we owed them but we had to pay the lawyer so financially it was a wash for us. To sum up: install-fabulous, aftercare-absolutely terrible. As it is, I would not recommend Seal the Deal unless they get someone else doing the scheduling.

This company (I worked with the owner, Art) was recommended to me by a friend who had a good experience so I decided to use them. The brand new furnace broke down in less than 24 hours!! The thermostat shut off completely and there was a leak in the newly installed pipes. They came out the next day to "fix" the problem. A little over 24 hours later, it stops working again!! I called as soon as I realized what was going on at 2 am but heard nothing. I then proceeded to call all 3 numbers listed for the company and sent text messages throughout the day without a single response until 7:30 pm! By this time the temperature had dropped to 58 degrees inside my house and I left a message informing Art of this but that was not enough to get me a call back let along a service call. I had to call another company to do an emergency call and pay $120 to get some heat, which ended up cutting off again in the middle of the night. The next morning Art sent me a text (he did not even have the decency or respect to call me) stating he would be coming over later that day, when I pressed him and asked when exactly, he told me he would come sometime after lunch when the snow stopped (did I mention that it was snowing and was below freezing at times and he saw no problem with delaying the service call until it was convenient for him, despite me reminding him that I have an infant in the house). When he finally came he offered no explanation or apology for failing respond to an urgent situation since the day before. When I pressed the matter he just said nonchalantly that his phone wasn't working the day before. Art is very responsive when he wants to get the job and to get your money but fails to follow through once he has your money, and he shows no remorse. Again, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

A couple days later NMA came back from a trip and noticed part of his room had no power. I contacted them again and they advised they will be right out. They installed a vent-less AC (the blower is in the bedroom and the condenser is in the yard) in my attic bedroom and took the extra time to ensure that the copper pipe was one solid piece - so they had to bend it about 6 different ways to get it installed. It took extra time but the quality is always first. They had repaired my heater after another heating company over charged me and it still did not work. At the time I asked if I should put in a new system and he said that he could fix what the other heater company could not and get it to last a few more years with out any fuss. When my house central AC final died, they installed an high efficiency heater and AC that will cool and heat my house way better than the old and they did it for a few thousand less than the gas company offered. These guys have done work from friends of mine as well and thy have been pleased. I highly recommend these guys if you have any Heating or AC issues.
