Great Brunch, good Lunch, but menu could use more variety!…read more Savas is an adorable restaurant with a really welcoming atmosphere; the space is cute, the environment is lovely, and the staff is genuinely amazing every single time. My first visit was for brunch, and it completely won me over. The buffet had a wonderful variety of food, the mimosas and cocktails were delicious, and for the quality, variety, and service you get, the price point is very fair. I left thoroughly impressed. I came back for lunch excited to experience it again, and while the staff was just as warm and the environment just as great, however, this time the lunch menu didn't quite live up to my expectations. They offer salads, sandwiches, mac and cheese and similar American-style comfort food, which is totally fine, but for a restaurant of this caliber I was hoping for something a little more exciting. I ended up ordering a salad with added shrimp, which was absolutely delicious, and a pomegranate rosemary lemonade that was incredibly refreshing - perfect for a summer day-. But if you're not in the mood for sandwiches, salads, or mac and cheese, your options are pretty limited. My suggestion: keep doing everything you're doing because the hospitality and atmosphere are truly special, but consider expanding the lunch and dinner menu for those looking for a heartier or more diverse meal.

We ordered a vegetarian meal, and the kitchen was incredibly accommodating, creating several additional non-traditional options for us, including a delicious egg-free Shakshuka, which was a particularly creative touch. A special shoutout to the serving staff: our server was exceptional. She was attentive, thoughtful, and consistently greeted us with a smile and incredible positive energy. The service really elevated the entire experience. The menu offers a great variety of food and beverages, and every dish we tried was thoughtfully presented and packed with flavor. From the small plates, we enjoyed the Coconut Chia Pudding, Polenta Fries, and egg-free Shakshuka. From the large plates, we had the Babka French Toast and Ancient Grain Bowl. We also tried the House Pasta and Plain Pancake from the kids' menu, the Apricot Poppyseed Bun from the bakery menu, and the Garden Pizza. For drinks, we sampled the Moroccan Mint, Spanish Mocha, Earl Grey, Matcha Latte, and Iced Coffee. Overall, everything was delicious. The combination and balance of flavors really hit the spot, and there was a lot of creativity throughout the menu. The only minor issue was that the Matcha Latte was a little too sweet for my taste, as I usually prefer mine unsweetened. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at The Dixboro House Project. Between the beautiful setting, thoughtful food, accommodating kitchen, and outstanding service, it's a place we'd happily return to.

From the gardens to the land with a creek flowing though it -- to the beautiful building and pleasing decor inside and a porch with tables around much of it. So impressed. The menu, our server explained, is changed out quarterly and this is the new summer one. So many unique small and large plates (but when he described them, they were way more intricate and enticing than the menu even showed). He was attentive and helped guide our choices. We ordered the eggplant small plate to share, then the mushroom pizza (so much tastier than the description would indicate), and the wild boar brat with cherry and peach accents. Everything was delicious. I also got an iced latte with the house made mocha and it was better than alcohol, if you're a coffee lover anyway. 100% plan to come back! And likely soon. This is up there with how I feel about Sylvan Table, which is a huge compliment to Dixboro Project!

Well, if it's daytime just know that it's under the brown awning lol. When we walked in we were immediately greeted. It was busy and we were quoted a 10 minute wait time but in reality it only took a couple of minutes. It has modern-farm vibe decor. They serve Coke products but have a Wisconsin root beer on draft and it's amazing! I highly recommend! My husband and I shared the roadhouse platter combo and the fried chicken mac and cheese. Both were great! Their mac and cheese is known around the world and the country and has been featured on the food network. The menu warns that the pepper from the chicken gives it a little kick and it definitely does. The star of the show though was the bread pudding. O.M.G. I cannot express how amazing it was! So warm and flavorful. We paired it with the vanilla gelato which was packed full of vanilla bean flavor. If they have it when you go, GET IT! You will not be disappointed!
