My cat, Jed, always looks amazing after his grooming appointments -- his coat is soft, shiny, and he smells wonderful! I love that they never use anesthesia; instead, they communicate with the cats and give them all the time they need to feel comfortable. After each visit, I receive a detailed report on how Jed did, which really shows the care and attention they give to every pet. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing place to have my 14 year old Maine Coon groomed and cared for. They are loving, kind, knowledgeable and so wonderful at grooming a long haired cat who has arthritis. I am especially grateful because another groomer abused him in her mobile cat mobile and he could not walk when she brought him into my home from the mobile unit and he now is wobbly and injured. Vickie was AMAZING with my cat, Louie. She truly listened to some requests about how I wanted his hair to look. He has long and curly hair and it's difficult to get it to look good. She did a fantastic job and he looks and smells great. She is also very friendly and explained everything that was done in his grooming session and how he behaved/reacted. If I could give more stars, I would. I made a last minute appointment for my cat Suki on Saturday, relieved that she was able to take me in before closing shop. Suki is very fluffy and had several gnarly matts in her fur, along with a rear end that was in desperate need of cleaning up. I was late due to horrendous traffic on 75 and felt terrible, but Vicky still made the time to groom my cat with a smile. She was finished in an hour. Suki feels soft as cotton, looks beautiful and smells great. Vicky also gave me some solid advice on weight management before I left. Perhaps the most amazing part of all is that Suki has not seemed to be the least bit traumatized by the grooming session. She's actually been very relaxed since I brought her home. I was expecting that she'd need a few days of recovery before she started acting like herself again, but she readjusted in about half an hour. I will definitely be coming back to Aristocats! read more

I've had Vickie groom my senior cat, Tabby, twice now. The first time I took her in she was matted and had never been groomed before. Vickie and her daughter pampered her and made her soft and cuddly again. This second time she was matted again. Vickie explained to me that senior cats stop grooming themselves after about 15 so Tabby will need to come in regularly, every 6-8 weeks, from now on. I couldn't have picked a better groomer. Brought my Owli Kat in for a nail trim and groom. I have not been able to brush Owli since we got her as she has some trust issues. She did great. They said she was the best behaved cat they had all week! I think they must be cat whispers. I found the pricing very reasonable. And they gave me some tips on handling Owli. Vickie is a GREAT groomer, very skilled at handling my flailing nervous cat, Winston. On our first visit, he got his nails cut/bathed and she trimmed down his mat-prone spots and sanitary area (I've been laughing about his nice "bikini line" ever since), to make sure he handled the experience well. He was a bit on the aggressive side at first, but Vickie knew what to do and got him groomed quickly and expertly. He was noticeably happier, and smelled wonderful. The shampoo she uses has a clean fragrance, not chemical smelling at all. I just wanted to cuddle with him all day long! I appreciated her taking the time to really *talk* to me before making the appointment. I am a nervous pet owner - I've had an awful grooming experience in the past with another shop, and I did my research beforehand. Wow! Such an awesome experience. Took my kitty here for her first grooming ever. Her hair has grown tremendously since I adopted her. Lots of licking has led to many, many hairballs. This is absolutely, hands down, the best grooming salon in all of DFW. We have two beautiful babies, Blade (Himalayan) & Diego (Persian). Both Blade & Diego are rescues and although Diego is more easy going, Blade really struggled at the groomers. So much that he was turned away or sedated for grooming prior to finding Aristocats 2!. Right from the start, Vickie took a genuine interest in the history of our kiddo's and we were pleasantly surprised to find that sedating was not an option. Vickie is equipped with knowledge, experience, and the tools necessary to make this as pleasant as possible without sedating. We have now been visiting Aristocats 2! every six months or so for that past two years, and Blade & Diego are visibly much happier with their lion cuts and look so darn cute. After receiving a call 20 minutes before my confirmed grooming appointment with a national chain who phoned to inform me they do not take cats on a Fridays, I happened to find this establishment on Yelp.
