Doggy day camp

This review is for the grooming salon: Today I took Teddy to get professionally groomed for the first time in his life (he's 2.5). I'm a former groomer and have been grooming him at home since we got him. However I wanted a break lol and I wanted to see how it would go so I can continue to have him be groomed by someone other than myself. Needless to say, as a former groomer, I had fairly high expectations, haha. Teddys groomer was Alex and she did a fantastic job. Clean even cut, round little face and short beard. She said Teddy did well but he didn't like the dryer too much. I am thankful she gave him a good first experience. Overall Alex did a great job and I will likely bring him back to her again in a few months when it's time for another trim. Thanks Alex!!

I love that they have the best selection of foods for our pets as well as accessories. Always clean and well stocked with friendly workers.

This is my go to place for all of my cat's needs! They tend to have a large variety of cat food brands and types. They have different types of treats with value packs. I love that they do price match and would highly suggest to ALWAYS check the price online! Their price match is with their own website OR Chewy. Every time I go, I always walk the aisles and check the other animals as it's entertaining for me.

Kona says thank you Dustin!

This past holiday season, my 6 month puppy played hard and was all matted up. The poor guy was so uncomfortable. I called PetSmart and explained that I needed special attention for my puppy. Dustin took care of him and was exceptional. He was patient, loving and super supportive to a puppy who had never had to have fur trimmed and combed out. I highly recommend him for his compassion and gentleness for future grooming and haircuts. I wish I lived closer so he could be my regular groomer.

There is a hospital and a dog hotel with everything your dog needs, so you can leave your dog with peace of mind. The staff is very friendly. I use the dog hotel often and they give good reviews. You can leave it with peace of mind and go on a trip or do personal business. I give you the highest score

Kitty foods lol

I have been to this Petsmart for years. Shanna is the lady I always talk to and she is the sweetest person ever! I came to get my kitty some food and treats today, I used to come every week for my dog but now that she is gone :( I only come once a month or so. But I do enjoy coming here just walking around seeing all the new pet stuff and say hi to the kitty's they have. Have a beautiful day :) Aloha to you and be kind to everyone.

Chloe new hair by Mallory G :)

(Grooming department) Mallory G.. I can't say enough great things about her. We've been taking our little Chloe to her since she was a pup. She's gonna be 4 soon and Mallory G has always taken such good care of our baby. She leaves our Chloe looking just so beautiful. She's the only one we trust with her. All the different hair styles she's done on Chloe are just so on point. We have 100% trust in her.

Pet sitting and doggie day camp are excellent. The check in process could be a little faster. I wonder when they will get a cat groomer.

Overnight boarding: you get a full webcam access to their suite whenever your pet is in there. The big dog area looks very spacious and the staff told me my dog LOVED the bath they gave afterwards. My dog is currently struggling to keep her eyes open after picking her up from boarding, so that's a great sign. My only gripe is the option for a bath doesn't come with a brush out or anything. Not even as an add on service. It's literally just a bath and they dry your dog in a kennel dryer. But for $30 on top of boarding, I'll take that bath option any day of the week and brush my dog at home.

After a previous negative experience, my fiancé and I waited several months before bringing our…read moredog, Posie, back to daycare. We decided to give this facility another chance because she genuinely loves playing with other dogs, and daycare seemed very different from overnight boarding. Before returning, we made it very clear to staff that because of our previous experience, we wanted to be contacted immediately about any issues involving Posie, no matter how minor. Staff assured us they would communicate with us, and based on those conversations, we felt comfortable trying daycare again. We had a few uneventful visits, but our most recent experience raised serious concerns and brought back many of the same issues we experienced before. We dropped Posie off around 2:30 PM for Day Camp. Around 3:55 PM, I checked the daycare cameras and noticed that she was nowhere to be found in the large playgroup area that we had paid for. Concerned, we contacted the facility to ask where she was. Initially, we were told that Posie had been placed in a holding area while staff handled transfers and departures. Later, a supervisor called us and explained that because Posie is "rambunctious," she had been separated into holding crates while staff completed other responsibilities. During the conversation, he stated that she had been there since arrival. This was frustrating because it meant our dog had spent a significant portion of her daycare visit separated from the group without our knowledge. Had this been communicated to us, we could have made an informed decision about whether daycare was the right fit that day. What was particularly concerning was that it appeared Posie's situation was only addressed after we noticed she was missing from the cameras and contacted the facility ourselves. While we were still on the phone with staff, we observed Posie being brought back into the play area on a leash. This left us wondering whether she would have remained in the holding area even longer had we not checked the cameras and called. When I expressed concern about how long Posie had been confined, the supervisor focused on correcting my estimate, explaining that because her drop-off was at 2:30 PM, she had "technically" only been there for about 90 minutes. The issue was never whether it was 90 minutes or two hours. The issue was that our dog had spent a significant portion of the daycare session separated from the activities we were paying for without any communication to us. What made the explanation confusing was that Posie has attended daycare here multiple times, and staff had always given us positive feedback about her interactions with other dogs. We had never been told she was disruptive, difficult to manage, or unable to participate in daycare. The first time her behavior was presented as a concern was after we discovered she had been separated from group play, which left us confused by the sudden change in messaging. Another part of the conversation that left me frustrated was when the supervisor told us that it seemed the facility was unable to meet our needs and suggested that perhaps this was not the right place for our dog. We had not yet spoken with management, nor had anyone attempted to address the concerns we were raising before suggesting that we take our business elsewhere. This also brought back concerns from a previous daycare visit. On that occasion, Posie came home with a wound on her leg that our veterinarian indicated was consistent with a bite or tooth abrasion from another dog. Thankfully it was not severe, but the skin was punctured and required monitoring. We were never contacted about the injury, and when we asked staff about it afterward, we were told there was no report of any incident occurring. That previous experience was one of the main reasons we stopped bringing Posie here for several months. We eventually decided to give the facility another chance because she enjoys socializing with other dogs and hoped the prior incident was isolated. Unfortunately, after this most recent experience, many of the same concerns resurfaced. Another concern is the overall level of supervision during busy periods. During our recent phone call, staff repeatedly described the environment as chaotic and explained that they were managing multiple responsibilities at once. As a customer, that left me wondering whether there are enough staff members available to supervise the number of dogs present while simultaneously handling transfers, cleaning, pickups, and other duties. Finally, during the last two daycare visits, Posie was returned to us completely soaked and smelling strongly of urine. We were told that staff regularly clean and mop the play areas, but both times we felt the need to bathe her immediately upon arriving home because of the odor. I am currently waiting to speak with management and hope these concerns are taken seriously.

I came to find out it was the wife and she took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I requested to book a tour and asked if my dogs could come. The tour: The tour went great! They took the time to make sure not to approach my dogs too hastily and towards the end, my husband and I felt comfortable leaving our dogs with them! We ended up booking and saw they had an amazing deal if we paid for a yearly membership, which helped give a discount to book the play room to have our 2 dogs stay in, along with a free walk for both of them (they typically potty outside and know not to potty inside). We booked the boarding for about 4 days and found out they partnered with a groomer! My dogs got the grooming and they LOVED It there. They really got comfortable playing with the other dogs and loved the owners. 10 out of 5 stars if I could!!! Our dogs were happy, smelled fantastic (thanks groomers!), and weren't even that excited to see us when we came to pick them up (which I was a bit sad, but extremely happy because that meant they really enjoyed their stay!). Thank you Majesty Pet Hotels! If I ever go on vacation again, I know my dogs are well taken care of!!!

The facility itself is very well equipped, with more than 100 rooms. They also have separate isolation rooms in case a dog gets sick, which helps prevent illnesses from spreading to other dogs. I thought that was a huge plus. All new dogs are required to provide vaccination records, and they also do about a 20-minute temperament assessment before joining. Based on each dog's personality, they arrange suitable playgroups instead of just mixing all the dogs together. The staff are also very professional and attentive. They keep daily records of each dog's eating habits and bathroom activity, which really gives owners extra peace of mind. Overall, it feels like a very responsible and well-organized place for dogs.

As he settled in my home, he became increasingly aggressive towards other people -- friends, family, and strangers alike, whether in the home or outside of the home. Sully was even aggressive towards my husband, and it felt like I was at a loss. I needed to do something before he actually ended up hurting someone. After explaining what was happening with Sully with the organization I was fostering from, they said they would need to put him down for the safety of the community. I couldn't let that happen, so I decided to keep him and find professional help. This is where John came in. After doing research online, I came across his Yelp page, where there were raving reviews of him helping aggressive dogs, so I took a chance. On his first day meeting John, Sully growled, hissed, and lunged at John. Sully tried to bite both him and me. John spent about an hour with me explaining what was going to happen and some training basics, and honestly, it was hard for me to focus because I was so nervous of Sully hurting someone in the moment. John was very patient, and showed me 5x how to hold a leash properly because I just couldn't focus from nervousness. I've never seen Sully so aggressive, and John explained it's because it was the first time someone was checking him and keeping him in his place. Sully stayed with John for a little over two weeks, and in that time, they went on ADVENTURES. I mentioned to John that Sully was afraid of water, aggressive with strangers, and other very specific things, and John made sure to tackle all of them. He sent me pictures and videos of his adventures throughout their time together. They went on a ferry, hiked to a waterfall, and so so much more. When there was a concern or something to celebrate, John was sure to communicate with us what was going on. In addition, due to personal circumstances, we needed to have Sully stay with John a few more days, and John was so understanding and accommodated us. I finally have my sweet boy back, and I see so much of a difference. He is calmer, more responsive, and he's running through my sprinklers now. LOL. It still takes him a bit to warm up to other people, but he's not as on guard or on edge as he was before. I'm excited to continue his progress at home, and I'm sure we will see John and Sara for future stays! Here are just a few of my favorite pictures of his adventures with John and Sara. :)
