Very disappointed with the grooming service at the PetSmart in Conyers, GA. Appointment on 1/8/26 was pushed from 12:00 to 12:30, which I agreed to. I paid for ears cleaned, nails trimmed, and feet groomed, but only the nails were done. Ears were not cleaned and feet were barely touched. When my husband calmly questioned it, staff said they only trim the bottom of the feet. The manager said he'd be back and never returned after we waited about 30 minutes. Staff also labeled my husband as "aggressive," which was untrue and unprofessional. Paid for services not provided and left with no resolution. read more

My dog was living with irritated skin, and scratching her self. After i took her to the groomers here, they managed to treat the affect skin, and shes stopped scratching. I think shes grateful. Thank yall! read more

I made a grooming appointment for my 5-month-old mini goldendoodle on 1/23/25 at 3:00 pm with Imani B. My puppy, Oakley, is well taken care of and is brushed and combed daily. I even brushed and combed her right before the appointment. Therefore, I wasn't concerned about her being matted and needing to be shaved. I was excited about getting Oakley her first haircut. When I arrived at the store, I spoke with Imani B. about the look I wanted. Being that this was our first professional grooming experience, I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted, a teddy bear cut. The picture even included detailed instructions on how to obtain the look. Imani agreed that this was something she could do. When I arrived at the store for pick up, Imani stated that Oakley had done a great job while being serviced and advised me to continue what was being done at home. Before seeing Oakley, I was instructed by Imani to pay for services first. When I finally saw her, I was devastated to say the least. The first thing that I noticed was that her nose had been completely shaved. She had two hair bows at the top of her head. I attempted to remove them to get a full view of the cut, however they were on so tight that I had to ask for scissors to remove them. In addition to the nose being shaved, and the bows being on extremely tight, the overall cut in the face was just overall sloppy and choppy. It didn't appear to be a professional cut at all. I advised Imani that I was highly disappointed. Imani stated, "we don't keep hair on the nose". This was not disclosed at drop off when Imani viewed the inspiration photo. So, that statement alone was shocking. Imani went on to say that she would notate the account to leave the hair on the nose moving forward. I advised that at this point that would not be an acceptable solution. She then proceeded to call the manager into the salon. The manager came in and Imani advised that I was dissatisfied with grooming services. The manager was very non-chalant and stated to follow him and he'll issue a refund, without even knowing my concerns. He never looked at Oakley and Imani never apologized. It was as if neither really cared. Imani grabbed her personal belongings and left the store. I followed the manager to the register and further expressed how dissatisfied I was. He still didn't acknowledge my concerns. Instead, was very dismissive. He ignored me and proceeded to issue the refund. Again, no apology. Thanks for the refund, however I felt as if my concerns were not being taken seriously. At no point did Imani or the manager apologize. Instead, they ignored me and dismissed my concerns. This is unacceptable. At no point was I rude. I was hurt and shocked by the entire experience. While an apology would not have changed how dissatisfied I was with the services rendered, it would have made me feel as if the staff at PetSmart genuinely cared and were remorseful. I am utterly disappointed and will not be visiting PetSmart again. read more

Aquaria not available on Fridays. My negative review isn't because of this policy, but because they didn't advertise it. Ever have a rough week, and you just wanted to do a little something for yourself because you made it through? That's what my trip to petsmart was for. I was going to add some fish and maybe shrimp to my aquarium, so I took my lunchbreak to drive over. If you're familiar with the area, you know the traffic in conyers is terrible. And once I got through that, I walked in to find the lights on all the tanks off and a little sign posted that says no fish sales on Fridays. What a waste. I had used a local one here in Conyers Ga for 2 yrs but am so glad the groomer was rude to me and never called me back after seeing my text and ignoring them because I found Ms. Joy at PetSmart in Conyers. She did a much better job as well and was so helpful with my Lucy that is so timid and not use to people. I will never go anywhere else. Prices were so much better too. Thank you, sweet Joy!!! Would never use this location ever again I dropped my dog off for a bath and brush. Usually at every location I go to I pay after seeing my dog. This location required me to pay before I even seen my dog. When I got him he still smelled as if he was never even put under water. His paws were still dirty, ears were stink & tail looked like no one took him out the cage . I would not take a stray animal here . read more

Cats and Dogs are the two most popular pets, and you've got two employees working the same shift who don't like cats, and thus refused to help with my cat. Impressive. Truly exceptional service. I ordered the puppy bath and trim with deluxe package. When I picked him up his face, undercarriage and paws were trimmed nicely, his nails were grinded down and he was cute and fluffy. I gave it three stars because he still smelled Like he did when I brought him in which tells me they didn't bathe or give the puppy cologne as advertized. Im thinking they didn't brush his teeth either. The reason I paid extra for the deluxe is because I wanted a clean fresh pet. If you go here don't waste your money on a bath or extras just get a cut and nail trim because that's all they will actually do anyway. read more

Why make appointments if you are not going to honor them?? My sweet dog was left in the back over 21/2 hours before they even started clipping her. PetSmart Grooming Salon has gone from great to just down right horrible! Do not!! I mean do not take your pet to this grooming salon. I took my miniature poodle to the groomer on 12-19-2018. I arrived at the salon before my appointment time and stated that I wanted to check my dog in and told them the name of the groomer which was Sonya. The lady that was checking me I. Could not find my appointment. It took 10 minutes for them to find my appointment. I was told that had to get my rabies vaccination certification from Banfield. I went to Banfield and retrieved the certificate. I returned and they looked at me like and asked me who are you here for? I told them that I just dropped my dog off and stepped away for 3 minutes to get this certificate for you. Another person came and finished checking me in. I received a call from Sonya and she told me that my dog was taken to Banfield because she cut her while she was cutting her hair on her legs. I asked her what happened and she told me that she was acting the way that your dog acts. I must say that this lady has never cut my dog's hair so how was she measuring the way my dog acts? She said the she was jumpy and she gave her the Licks and waited 30 minutes before she started grooming her but the licks(a natural sedative/relaxer for dogs) didn't work. She didn't show any remorse or even say that she was sorry for the incident. She said that she took her to the pet hospital and that she couldn't finish grooming her and that she had not had a bath. I might be mistaking but I'm sure that my dog should have been bathed before her hair was cut. When I arrived to pick my dog up from the pet hospital I was told that she had to go under anesthesia and get 4 stitches in her leg. Sonya told me that it was a small cut but a small cut does not require 4 stitches!!! I spoke with the manager named Joseph and he showed no remorse and said that these things happen. I told him that i would never return to this salon or the store and that I would be writing a review on this awful place and contacting their cooperate office. I have been a loyal customer for 9 years and I will never come back! BELIEVE the reports on PetSmart grooming! They are hurting animals and just don't care. read more

I have utilized two services within petsmart Conyers. Puppy training and the groomers. Both Services were a waste of money and time. The groomers did not do anything different than we were already doing at home. We just didn't go back for the remaining sessions. The groomers her name is Imani , I dropped my puppy off at 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning he was the only puppy there she assessed him said he was a little mad at around the ears I said okay showed her a picture of what I want he's a Labradoodle he had a lot of hair I wanted the poodle look . I did not hear from her I drove up there on my own around 1:00. He still wasn't ready until about 3:30 . He was shaved down completely no nail trimming no bath . And it wasn't a clean cut . I had to take him to another location to get his nails trimmed down . I went back the next day to speak with management they were not willing to help or provide a refund . I do not recommend PetSmart Conyers for training or groomers . read more

We have been taking our 2 dogs to Petsmart grooming for years (6 years in conyers & 3 years in Stone Mountain) and they said we could not bring our dogs back due to safety concerns of them not standing during the grooming. Seems odd/coincidence that BOTH dogs all of sudden are not standing during grooming. Sounds like an excuse to not have 2 big dogs groomed. I called to complained and there is no investigation or anything. 1 star or 0 stars for customer service. If you look at reviews, there seems to be a problem with grooming services at the Conyers location. read more

Andrew is the absolute worst. I brought my dog in at 7:45 for an 8:00 am grooming appointment (wash,trim nails,hair cut) small dog. It's now 11:30am and he's still not finished so I go inside and watch him cut from the store window. I see why it's taking forever. He's texting on his phone the entire time. He's also talking to the other workers with his hands having a full out (it looks) dramatic conversation with his hands. No scissors or grooming tools he has to put them down for his very important conversation. He's walking around leaving my dog sitting there as he talk. He's grabbing his phone again. All this would have taken a shorter time if he focused on his job. I then walk in thinking it would give him a hint to stop talking and complete the task at hand but it makes my dog move around too much so I walk out. Next time definelty using someone else. It's now 11:40am by the way. read more

I love this place, and so does my baby. We've been shopping here for years, but today was the first time I've taken advantage of the grooming, because he was getting was too furry and he was extremely hot outside during the summer. So I scheduled the appointment yesterday, and the woman on the phone was very thorough, and I thought 'aww' when she asked what my baby's name was. My baby. Not dog. That's when I knew this place was different. I watched him get groomed and he was very calm and at ease with the groomer there. I like his cut a lot, I preferred his long hair, but it was impossible, because he's mostly an outside dog and it's very hot. Overall I am very impressed with this PetSmart. They wouldn't even try to accommodate my pet that was matted in spots. There was an excellent groomer there at one point but he's no longer there. He got the mats out and had my pet looking great. The groomers there now seem lazy and unempathetic. I told them over the phone when I made the appointment that he was matted. They could have told me over the phone that they would possibly not be able to accommodate us. read more

I had a wonderful experience after taking my dog there. I originally booked an appointment online but when I got there, the lady that checked me in was asking me question about my dog so that they could give her exactly what she needed and it even dropped the price for what I was about to pay for! They only requested a physical copy of her rabies and she was good to go. When I picked her up they had given her a trim and didn't cut the back of her legs like I requested. Took my husky /Australian Shepard mix to get groomed here. We originally made the appointment online which made the price to be around $97 or so, which she's a larger dog so, alright. When we went to the actual store, the groomers helped us tweak some settings we had put in on Skylar's profile (the dog) and they got our price down from stated above to $84 instead. That's great customer service. Sky can be skittish around new people especially more than one, which she was when we dropped her off. Coming to pick her up, she was comfortable and loved the staff. That's a great and relieving feeling as a pet owner knowing that your dog trusts the staff, so therefore, I will as well. And they did a great job. They missed some spots on her paws, but I hadn't even noticed until one of the kind ladies noticed first and quickly corrected it. I am a very loyal customer and I am usually provided with great service, whether it's from the front end cashier to the groomers. I normally schedule my dogs appointment with Jasmine (she is great!) but i recently brought my dog in for a simple cut and noticed he left with so many cuts and scabs from his hair cut. I schedule his appointment with a new stylist (Jessica) and I am very disappointed in the results. They were so unorganized from the time I dropped my dog off till the time I picked him up. I've had 2 dogs and have always taken them here for grooming. The grooming went from great to hate. The last time I was there I explained I had a rescue dog and she was not friendly with other dogs. They made an appointment. When we arrived, they said I had to be rescheduled because of her unfriendly to other dogs issue. We rescheduled. I then brought her in and they told me I had to do an Express grooming because she was aggressive and it would only take 30 mins. I left and went to Walmart, grabbed a buggy and they called me to pick her up. They kept calling me while I sat at their window because they were servicing one person at a time. I was then handed a $70+bill to pay. When they brought her to me, she still smelled and her nails were jagged. I had to bring her home and give her a bath. I honestly hate going her and spending money. I've been ordering online to avoid supporting this store. read more
