This place makes the best orange chicken. Usually anywhere I order orange chicken togo, by the time I get home, it became all mushy. I would round this down to a 3.5 if I could, but will stick with 4 as my experience may have been more of an anomaly. We ordered to go, so can't speak to the dining experience. As someone else said, beef salad = fire - so much beef, well marinated and seasoned, and the beef itself was very tender and not at all tough. We got the Singapore style noodles with chicken and although plenty of noodles, it was just okay for me. It was mostly noodles, the chicken was a bit dry, and we didn't get nearly as much vegetables as other photos showed on here. It definitely looks better in other photos, so maybe our order was just an outlier. I would come back if I was looking for a good-value meal in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way to come back. read more

We ordered from Phang Roy Restaurant for the first time, and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised! We'd been wanting to try a new Thai place, and this one definitely satisfied our craving. The pad prik king beef had the perfect amount of spice, and the beef was cooked just right. The yellow curry was rich and flavorful, and we both really enjoyed the pad thai - the chicken was especially good. We got a good amount of food, too, so it was a good value for the money. My only suggestion would be a little extra sauce on the side for both the pad thai and the walnut shrimp, but the flavors were spot on. We'll definitely be checking out more of their menu soon! read more

We found this place by yelping Thai food with high ratings. I can honestly say this location for exceeded our expectations. It's a small family run business, however, all the reviews were right. The food was fantastic, the service and ambience were fair. The owner Was very accommodating to our party size and we felt very comfortable while waiting for the food. The quality and overall portions were much better than I expected. We love this place, we will be back, and I think this will be our new local Thai restaurant. Both are good the you can eat the whole shrimp tempura since the tail has been removed. Didn't get a shot of the pineapple curry or pad Thai but I can tell you it was fantastic! Flavors were just right and the Pad Thai was on point! For a small place servings was appropriate for 3 people. As for how many the curry serves I'd say 2-3 people and it's is kept hot till the very end! read more

Ordered here from Postmates, but I do plan to update this review once I've ordered in person and tried more of their menu items. I was craving yellow curry and decided to give Phang Roy a try. I got the small size with medium spice level, & opted for chicken as my protein of choice. The curry itself was coconut-y and very tasty. It's not the absolute best yellow curry I've had; it was a bit too runny for my taste, and could've used a bit more curry flavor, but that's just my personal preference. I still ate almost my entire portion and definitely enjoyed it. I liked the abundance of meat & veggies that were packed into the small container. The rice was also cooked to perfection, which is always a plus! I wouldn't say that this is authentic Thai but it hit the spot if you want food that has the essence of Thai. Definitely wasn't the worst either. Pad Thai and pad see ew were a little congealed when we got to eating it but i think that maybe the consequence of taking food to go and not eating it right away when the food is fresh and hot. The fried rice was good but very generic with the frozen carrots/peas, which you'll find in all Asian Americanize fried rice. If you get the tofu option for fried rice or any of the noodles just know that the form of the tofu will be consistently the same for most dishes because they are precut and fried into a square so they can easily disseminate them as ingredients across many dishes and not just one. At first I thought the order was incorrect. The color was more brown than pinkish and more salty than sweet. Kai Kua- too much soy sauce. It was pretty salty. We just moved to the area and were looking for a new Thai place to try out and came across Phang Roy on yelp. Lots of parking which is nice. We placed our Togo order of pad Thai chicken, chicken larb, and orange chicken. It only took about 15 minutes. I would say the food was good. I wouldn't say it's the best Thai food I've had in my life nor would I say it's the worst. It's in the middle. The prices are on the lower end so it's comparable. I thought it was interesting that they offer a free Thai iced tea if you post a review on yelp but when you're doing take out you can't really say much without seeing or eating the food. I just posted it and came back to add more and adjust. I did love that I ordered extra spicy and they actually made it spicy. A lot of times when I ask other places, it's not as spicy but this place had good heat. read more

Oh my goodness. I'm a super duper loyal customer I can't get enough of there Tom Kai soup mushrooms lots of them and that creamy coconut milk spicy at whatever level you want. I've only ever ordered delivery from here and so far haven't had any issues. I've tried the spicy catfish, spicy spaghetti, and pad see ew. The spaghetti is what keeps me coming back here since there's only 1 other restaurant I know of that serves this dish. The spaghetti includes mushrooms, onions, chili flakes per your spice level, and the sauce is sweet tasting - you can add protein for extra. The spicy catfish here is very tasty also - pricey, but unlike other local restaurants these look like real slices of catfish with bone in. Will I try other dishes out? I doubt it. They have the best sticky rice with mango that I have ever tasted next to Thailand. I think it came down to the way they made their sticky rice, which was loose and soft? A lot of the sticky rice I have tasted are quite compact and the coconut milk is poured over the rice, whereas, this version seemed that the rice was cooked in the coconut milk. However they made it, it was really good. I also got the bulgogi and it's not what I expected? It could be due to the different marinade? It was not bad, but it will do.
