If you know, you know!! Just in case you don't...here it is! In VA Beach and my friend suggested that I try Philly Cold Cuts for a quick lunch. I selected the Chicken Philly and it was good. It was a small lunch spot with a lot of business. By the taste of the food, it makes sense. The service was friendly.

Gotta say it sucks to order EXTRA cheese but half of it arrives stuck to the butcher paper. Gave 3 stars because what I could scrape off still tasted pretty good. Just beware of the packaging!

Hubby was hungry and wanted a cheesesteak. I've never eaten from here so I came to Yelp to look at pictures before ordering. He got a classic biggie cheesesteak and I got a shorty cheesesteak with mushrooms and cheese wiz. The cheese wiz was amazing and I'm so glad I got that. Also the bread was so amazing and soft. The bread and cheese wiz really made this sandwich. The meat was good too. He called to order it, went to pick it up, and the sandwich was still crazy hot when he got home. I'd definitely order the exact same thing next time. I also wanna try the fries that I saw so many amazing pictures of. Yum yum yum.

Lives up to the hype! So glad I finally made it here to try their Philly. Followed the advice of another Yelper and ordered the "Biggie". It is more than enough for two, but definitely will have leftovers. The food is delicious and the service was great. I tried the cheese fries along with my cheesesteak, and it was the perfect combination. I rarely give 5 stars, but in my humble opinion this place is a winner and very deserving. Definitely try it.

The first time I had a cheesesteak from Philly's I was bit disappointed as they put ketchup on it. Didn't ask for it and didn't want it. The last three times it was perfect. I like my cheesesteaks with extra Mayo, extra lettuce and mushrooms. I love that their cheesesteaks are no fuss, just perfectly filled with deliciousness. Will be back for another round.

I asked some friends where to get the best grinder in the area and they immediately said this place. I ordered the Italian sub and the cheese fries and they were FANTASTIC I didn't plan on eating all the fries but I couldn't help myself, they were like little fried slices of potato perfection calling them "fries" on the menu was misleading because they are more like seasoned thick curly steak fries and so much better than I expected for "fries." I'll never order a sub anywhere else but be advised they are closed on sundays! Chicfila rules apply lol! Worth it... Highly recommend

This one was the closest, so I parked and went up to order a sandwich. The place is cute inside, bunch of Eagles memorabilia lining the walls, the big open counter you can see the kitchen through. Good vibes, I liked it. I had looked on their menu before to see what sounded best, and I decided on a mushroom and cheese along with a regular hot dog. The man at the counter explained my topping options. So, I got onions, ketchup, and mustard for the dog, and sweet peppers, mayo, mustard, and grilled onions for my sandwich. He wrote it down, and said I'd pay once my order was called. It was fairly quick despite seeming busy with the start of a lunch rush. I paid, and went to my car for a quick bite before wrapping and eating the rest at home. First impressions, it was hot but not burn your tongue hot. The sandwich was also huge, and the hotdog a decent size. The hot dog was split in half and grilled on both sides, which was a nice texture enhancer. Could've used a little more condiments, I'm a condiment person, but it was a solid dog. Buns were toasted a little and they flattened out a bit, which was nice. It was a good dog to bun ratio. As for the sandwich, I was super excited for it. The bread is nice, spongey, not crisp. The meat was fine, good quality and chopped nice. It was cooked, a little dry but greasy. Cheese was great. Loved the melt and flavor. Sweet peppers were almost like pickles, which added a good balance. Mushrooms were sliced so thin it blended really nicely into the meat. Onions added more savory to the meat. The mayo and mustard made it a bit more moist. Overall, it was a really great, greasy, messy lunch. They did give me a bunch of napkins which helped a lot. I can see myself coming back again, and most definitely will. If you haven't tried this place I would recommend putting it on your list, it's a great spot!

First of all the man at the counter was rushing me and a smart a$$. (He had long hair. The other man at the counter was pleasant.) I also requested that my steak be chopped up with the cheese and other items but when I opened my cheesesteak it I guess he chose not to honor my request and when I thought about it, I didn't recall him noting this on my ticket when I ordered. Cheesesteak was just ok.

So when one of the Homies told me about this place I was all in because - burgers - what's not to love. Barrel 17 did not disappoint; when i got there i realized quickly i was the last to know because it was busy. We had about a 10 minute wait to be seated but that was cut short by option to sit at the bar. The bartender was working like she had six arms. It was non stop; attentive, taking orders, making drinks, checking back with others, she was truly impressive. The places was jumping; it was busy, casual and didn't slow down from the time we arrived until we left. Parking is challenging, there's a small lot beside the restaurant and a small lot behind it so if you can car pool you'll benefit yourselves. Now on to the star of the show - the food! The only knock I had was portion size. In a big guy with an even bigger appetite and when i left there i could've eaten my whole meal over again lol. But that's also because it was delicious. I got the mac n cheese starter, the Beast Burger, tater tots , and the biggest slice of chocolate cake I've ever had. Literally the biggest slice of cake ever- twice the size of my burger. Everything was delicious, from start to finish and if i were a person that had a normal appetite i would've left full like my friends did. Will definitely be back!

The place has about ten tables inside and was pretty busy when we dined there for a late lunch on a Saturday. My only complaint would be to have more than one waitress on duty. That poor woman was running all over the place, causing service to be slower than if she had a helping hand. I do love a good mom and pop spot, though. I ordered their twelve inch Bianca pizza and added spinach. The crust stood out for me. It was the perfect blend of crunchy and chewy! The small size I ordered had about six slices. I ended up taking leftovers home and they reheated nicely. My boyfriend ordered their lasagna, which our waitress said was her favorite item on the menu. He agreed that it was tasty.
