Taste and quality wise this is a 5/5 in my area. The only complaint would be the price but it is family owned so keep this in mind.

Year after year I forget that this place exists. I don't crave Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, usually ever, but my boyfriend is a big fan. Finally, he requested and sandwich and randomly this spot popped into my head. We gave it a shot, and it was a hit! The meat was nicely cooked, bread was soft and the onions (which I got on mine) were delicious. My boyfriend always get cheese wiz and he said the ratio of meat to cheese was perfect. Lowering my rating because of the ridiculously slow service. The last few times have gotten slower. 40 minutes to get served when only 3 other orders were served in that time. My husband and I went to this place thinking we would get an authentic philly cheesesteak. We ordered the pizza steak and the sandwich comes with onions but we didn't expect that a 6 ounces of beef would end up 1 ounce of beef and 5 ounces of onions. We don't mind a little bit of onion in our sandwiches, but if we are eating more onions than the meat itself then it is a different story. We paid $28 for everything we ordered and we didn't want a new sandwich. My husband asked for a refund but they said they couldn't give the refund because the manager is not in today. This was done in and all we did was open the sandwich ( food were never eaten not a single bite). All the service crews are already very defensive on not giving a refund but offered a new sandwich that we obviously did not want. There's no reaching out and solving the customer's issue but what the crew did was gave us attitude. My husband is from Philly and knows what's good Philly steak is, but what they serve us was more like an onion sandwich without the steak. We left hungry and get robbed for what we paid for. The place looks old too and tables are dirty. They don't clean up after each and every customer. We would not recommend this place and hopefully people reads this review and would think twice before giving this place a try. Spare your time, gas and money. The vibe is really great and the food is delicious! I don't go often but each time I do I'm always satisfied.

My favorite Philly Cheese place really let us down today. Wife ordered "The Works" with "sweet" peppers and brought it home only to find out it was with "HOT" peppers. I drove her back, they apologized, and handed her one with sweet peppers and even refunded $2. Unfortunately, the first bite revealed it was cold inside! Unacceptable! I wondered if this was the original sandwich that just sat there, but I'm not driving back again. So disappointed! read more

3 stars meaning I would come here again within a month. The cheesesteak is great. No doubt. I've had my fair share of cheesesteaks, from philadelphia to many locations claiming to have good cheesteaks . This play is good. Its just way too small. Way too small. I could have eaten two (I wish I would have ordered too), but that would have added up to $25 with no gurantee to feel content. If money ain't a thing (and you throw it up like rice), I would go here again. If not, make sure you are not overly hungry before you go. Maybe that might change my review. read more

The cheesesteak was pretty good except for when I asked for gold onions they didn't put them on but at that point, I didn't care. I use the check-in an offer to redeem a large soda and well it's a soda, space the cheese offerings were good I had provolone on my cheesesteak and the bun was also nice wheat toasted. I am from Philly and this used to be the best cheesesteak place in San diego. I bought a pizza steak and it was basically onions on a roll with a lil meat on the side. I returned for a refund but was denied so I left all my food which was the onion sandwich that was supposed to be a pizza steak cheese fries macaroni salad and a can of soda which came to a total of $27. The last cheese steak that was memorably delicious was in cow town Lemoore 20 years ago. Out of all places. Anyway I found this spot randomly through Uber Eats. Why don't they spend money marketing for reach? If it wasn't for Uber Eats, I would have never found out about these guys. I had the cheese steak with whiz and mushrooms. It was so full of thinly sliced steak, sauteed onions and some good ol grease. For about $10 you get a generous sized steak sandwich. Fairly greasy, but a good greasy. Finally had a chance to try this place. The place is super small in the middle of a strip mall. Ordered the original steak and cheese sandwich. Good flavor, the cheese had a good sharpness to it, and the bread was soft, yet firm enough to hold all the juices from the meat and the ooey gooey cheese. Of course nothing compared to the cheesesteaks you'd expect to find in philly, but probably one of the best in north county SD. read more

Unfortunately I'm a little disappointed. The Cheesesteak looked nothing like the pictures online (of course what really does anymore). When I eat a Philly with Wiz I expect it to be drenched and definitely not nuked, this one was not Wiz drenched and the Wiz had been nuked, same with the Cheese Fries. Not that it didn't taste good, because it did. Overall though for me personally not worth the $20 paid for the meal. Peppers were perfectly cooked at least, and the taste was on point.
