    Philly Cheesesteak

I was craving a Philly cheesesteak so I went to the place where they make them the best! Just the flavor of the meat by itself makes the whole sandwich... This time I went for the white American with some chopped onions and green peppers... It was everything I wanted!

Lunch on the boss ! Today my boss suggested Philly Phlava since I LOVE cheesesteaks scratch that out I love FOOD . Lol . I ordered the Philly with jalapeños because today I woke up on the spicy side of life . I'm surprised how good it was but for $11 just sandwich it better be good . My coworker ordered the pizza steak she typically doesn't finish her meals and this lady ate every single crumb so it's safe to say she liked it . I arrived a late but the food was kept nice and warm like it was just made. I gotta give it up to the two man crew on staff today . I'll be back

About as authentic as you can get outside Philadelphia. All the down to the rolls from amoroso. From someone who grew up there , I approve. Get a cheesesteak with wiz. You won't be sorry. Also , Pennsylvania Dutch birch beer.

I'm a South Philly transplant on the hunt for the best Cheesesteak in Tampa Bay and found this place here on Yelp. The place is tiny with just a few tables. But, t looks like they are doing a huge takeout business. I ordered a Cheesesteak with Fried Onions and American Cheese ($8.95) they use Ribeye and it's a decent portion for the size of the roll. The Onions were nicely cooked with a good amount of cheese. The meat was nicely seasoned but a bit chunky. I also ordered a side of Onion Rings ($3.95) it was a nice size order, crispy, plenty hot and not greasy. Their O Ring Sauce was really nice and had a good bite to it! Overall one of the better Cheesesteaks I've had in the Tampa Bay Area. I'll be back, there are a bunch of things on the menu that look really good.

Good combo - great tasting hot food . Ordered the Philly Cheese Steak with provolone cheese. It was good ! Service was fast and very friendly . Would recommend if you in the mood for a sub.

I came in on a Friday afternoon at lunchtime by myself. The place was moderately busy, but I was able to find a table without talking up to much space. The restaurant was clean and pleasant, except for the Philly sports teams memorabilia scattered throughout...Being a lifelong Buccaneers fan, I can do without that. I ordered the half steak and cheese with mushrooms and onions. Yes, they have wit Whiz, but I opted for the provolone. I've had both Pats and Ginos. I can say that Philly Phlava tastes like neither. If your from Philly, you'd probably say that is a good thing! I made my meal a combo, choosing some Herr's Sour Cream and Onion chips over the fries. I was in and out as fast as I need to be. The service was quick and courteous. Hands down, the best option for a steak in Tampa. I'll be back.

First timer! I've heard good thing about this spot so I decided to check it out for dinner recently. This is a small spot but has a few tables and seating available. I ordered a Buffalo chicken hoagie with bay fries (old bay seasoned). Everything was made to order so hot and fresh when it came out. My hoagie was stuffed with nicely sauced chicken with plenty of mix ins such as onions, peppers and lettuce. The fries were fried to perfection and well seasoned. I would definitely return.

Considering you're not in Philly, this is a good place to go.

Really good pizza steak. No gristle, great roll. Hope this place survives, it's hard to find a good cheesesteak in Florida. Would definitely go back again.

Half the staff (2 out of 4) not practicing proper prevention guidelines.

WARNING! During my visit, I witnessed that staff of this store are not practicing the COVID-19 safety guidelines put in place. They are putting together cold cut sandwiches without fully covering their faces. See attached photos. There were 4 staff members working and 2 of the younger ones PREPARING THE FOOD were not covering their nose. By doing this they are risking health of patrons in the store as well as the cold-cut food they are preparing. They are also putting their own other 2 co-workers at risk. Such blatant negligence to guidelines is very hard to witness and observe. I threw away my cold cut sandwiches that I got via carry out. I'm not going back here again. Regardless how good or bad their food is, no food is worth such negligence in my books.

Always came to check on us and was so fun even introduced us to another server that also loves nascar lol. For our first time at the new location they gave us another bag of peanuts and a free appetizer on the next visit. I got the 6 oz sirloin and it was perfectly seasoned and still more than enough for me. We also love their Italian dressing that's made in house. Fun country rock music and the servers dance one in a while too.

Possibly the worst mac & cheese I've ever been served. Won't order again. You'll note that this review is rated 5 stars... That's because every other aspect was absolutely outstanding. No other notes; the rest of our food was incredibly delicious. And service was excellent. I hope they look at the mac & cheese. Before I get too long-winded, I'll mention my favorite bites. The warm complimentary bread was perfectly baked and the honey butter was fantastic. Hubs had a salad as one of his sides & shared with me; it was quite large & fresh, and I loved their Ranch dressing. My other side was the Mashed Potatoes and they were SO GOOD. I savored the skins & potato chunks. And then my sirloin steak was literally perfect. Medium-rare was well-rendered & each bite melted in my mouth. My friend gave me a chunk of her pork chop, and it was absolutely divine. Honorable mentions: - The Mozzarella Twists appetizer was really good but almost too much cheese for 4 people. I mean that in the best way. Soooo good, but a rather large serving. - My sangria was huge & tasty, and I also thought well-priced at ~$9. - Our other friend's ribs looked amazing, as they actually fell off the bone, and he confirmed they tasted even better. Though this location is ~25min from our house, it's the closest Texas Roadhouse to us. We met another couple here on a Friday night; I made a resy as we left home but the wait was even longer than our drive. And then our wait after arriving was also longer than we were told at check-in, but definitely worth it. This place is a madhouse on Friday nights! We were glad we'd made a reservation because walk-in waits seemed to be egregious. Once seated, service was excellent, as our server came by often to check on us, and we never waited for anything. Drinks & food came out quickly, and clearing was efficient, too. We'll definitely return!
