Craving a great classic burger!? Fred's got it!…read more Mine was delicious, perfect combo, classic ingredients, amazing flavor. You're inside Krog Street Market, so the ambiance is already nice, me and my friends got lucky to find at spot at their table, but there's plenty of room at the market. Service was fast, friendly and helpful.

Fred's is widely known to be the "best" cheesesteak in Atlanta. It has many accolades including…read morebeing on the Michelin guide. 1) Korean Ribeye Cheesesteak: - PROS: It was packed and filled to the brim with ribeye that was nicely cut with an even cheese dispersion. I loved the caramelized jalepeno slices since they added it beautiful hint of spicy sweetness to the dish. The bread has a nice chew and it does not get soggy fast. - CONS: Not that special. I dont know why it's "korean" since it tasted like a normal cheesesteak but with a few jalapenos. I also wish they added in more jalapenos (I got like 3). 2) Garlic Fries with Ranch: - PROS: Very nice texture with a crispy outside and fluffy inside that is not too dense. The flavor comes from the garlic mince that is on top. The ranch is like a mixture of an aioli and tartar sauce (I think they make it in house, correct me if I'm wrong). - CONS: Inconsistent texture as some of the fries were dense but a few had that good hollow crisp bite. Quite oily too. Overall, I enjoyed the cheesesteak but would probably skip the fries next time. I do believe it is good especially the bread. I don't think it is worth all the hype it gets, but it is good.

It has been almost two years since I was there, but others in my group go often as it's close to their home. It's about 45 minutes from the house for me, but we set out in afternoon Atlanta traffic and made it there in about 55 minutes. It was worth the drive. We love a classic Chicago dog! The onion rings were good too, just served warm. I thought they were making them fresh since the front counter girl yelled back that she needed three orders of onion rings. The service was ok...just like any other fast food restaurant these days. We really don't expect great service from the front counter workers anymore and Skip's was no different. (I will rave on my reviews when I do get great customer service.) We had a group of seven so we had to eat outside as the biggest table inside only seats four and we didn't want to sit separately. It was a cool evening, but was about the same temperature inside the restaurant. All in all, we will be back one day when we feel like taking a drive.

We don't have any good wing places in Tampa so we were excited to get some American Deli. We were…read moresadly disappointed with our experience. The fries didn't have any seasoning at all and the wings had a very funny taste. We also realized that some were overcooked while others were undercooked. The drink we ordered was pure sugar and we were unable to drink it. So needless to say we wasted $34 dollars. Yes, 16 wings with fries and a drink was $34 dollars. The price of wings in the last 6 years is ridiculous. Buyer beware!

Visited this American Deli recently and it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences had…read morein a long time. From the food to the cleanliness to the customer service, almost every part of the visit felt like a letdown. The main reason for going was the wings, but they had an odd, almost spoiled taste that immediately raised concerns about freshness and food safety. The texture and flavor were off enough that finishing the order did not feel comfortable, which is unacceptable for something as simple and popular as chicken wings. The sides did nothing to make up for it, and overall the food felt low quality and poorly handled. The condition of the store made the experience even worse. The space is very small and felt cramped, with visible dirt and clutter that made it hard to relax or enjoy the meal. Tables and floors did not look like they had been cleaned properly, and the overall atmosphere came across as neglected rather than casual. Customer service was another major issue. The cashier was very unprofessional, acting as if taking the order was an inconvenience instead of a basic part of the job. There was no greeting, no eye contact, and questions about the menu were answered with attitude instead of help. That kind of energy sets the tone for the entire visit, and not in a good way.It is understood that not every visit will be perfect and that restaurants can have off days, but this experience raised serious concerns about both cleanliness and basic standards of service. At this point, there is no interest in returning to this location, and it would not be recommended to anyone else until there are clear improvements in food quality, sanitation, and staff professionalism.
