I ordered from Philly Wok one evening on DoorDash after seeing a review on TikTok, and let me say they did not disappoint. I got the ribeye eggroll and a bowl with noodles, broccoli, ribeye, and salmon. I was very impressed by the portion size, especially for the price. The flavor was amazing, I wished I had gotten 2 egg rolls . The flavor is the noodles was chef's kiss they were moist but not greasy. 10/10 highly recommend and I will be back. Being that my order was deliver I can't speak on the service or ambiance. What I can say is my order was delivered on time so I would say the service is prompt. read more

I have ONE COMPLAINT!!! If you are going to give that much delicious food (and it's fair to say ONE SERVING can easily feed two people), then provide us with a plastic fork that can hold up to these hearty meals. The food is nothing short of PERFECTION--but this little fork cannot handle this kind of deliciousness! You really should provide each customer with a GOLD fork because this is the kind of meal that is fit for a KING (or QUEEN). It's flavorful, made FRESH, seasoned to perfection, and I can't believe you get so much! I had fried rice with veggies and a veggie egg roll. The egg roll was SUPER HOT and bursting with all kinds of flavor. It was my favorite part. My other meal was a steak and shrimp combo with lo mein. We ate, and I really should have taken a pic AFTER I ate--I didn't even make a dent in this bowl! It's not only packed with flavor the serving containers are PACKED with food too! Will I return? Stopped in just after the lunch rush to get some food to go. My man behind the counter was working the grill and the register, but he was more than happy to talk me through my order options. Basically everything on the menu looks great. I got 2 proteins (jerk chicken and shrimp) with fried rice, veggies and a steak egg roll. The food was delicious, and there was enough to make me finish it in two sittings. It was cool to see some of the photos on the wall and get schooled on some little known history. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. read more

Philly Wok has been on my list for quite sometime , being that we were out and about yesterday we decided to pay a visit. It is about 20-25 minutes away but that's ok. Upon entering the young lady up front was a pleasure , welcomed us with a smile and explained to us the menu , I did mention to her it was our first time there and she was very understanding. I ordered 2 proteins 2 sides ( fried rice , LoMein noodles , jerk chicken and shrimp). To be honest the sauce was so strong and overpowering all the flavors , the shrimp was not fresh shrimp the texture was kind of going frozen and no taste , the jerk chicken was amazing and I think it would of tasted better with out the over powering amount of sauce and served just with fried rice or noodles and maybe sauce on the side. The fried rice was a small portion and soaked in sauce so I really can't say if it was tasty or not and the same for the LoMein noodles. I would say minus the overbearing amount of sauce I think it would be a 10/10 but as it was I give it 5/10. My grandson had 2 protein 2 sides he had the ribeye steak which was definitely under seasoned but over powered with the sauce and he had jerk chicken which we both found very good. His sides were the same as mine and he had almost the same experience but gave it a 7/10. He also got the wings but he took them home. Out over all experience was 5/10 & 7/10 for the food and 10/10 for ambiance and presentation. Will we visit again not sure when because it's pretty out of our way. But as I always say we all have different pallets and taste buds go try it for yourselves. read more

I ordered the 2 protein plate with Lo Mein, the Lo Mein was overly flavored with teriyaki sauce and mostly sticky. I had food from here before when the restaurant first opened, and what I got wasn't good then, so I decided to give them another try to see has it gotten any better and I got the same results. Seen this spot in instagram from a couple of different people and had to give it a shot. A little bit of a drive for me but don't mind for proper big back cuisine. Pulled up and looked like a typical food spot in a shopping center. Definitely nothing no where near fancy. The menu isn't big at all but you can definitely make many different combinations. Would highly suggest ordering ahead if you can. The staff was welcoming and gave me a heads up it would take at least 20 mins in which it definitely did. I ordered the double protein plate with rib eye steak, jerk chicken, fried rice and lo mein, 3 pc buffalo and garlic wings, a salmon egg roll, and a steak egg roll. The steak was a little tough and could have used some seasoning in my opinion. It was finished with teriyaki sauce but didn't mask the fact that the steak was well done. The chicken was decent. Lacked the spice I would expect from jerk chicken. The rice and lo mein was good but nothing to go crazy over. Both of the egg rolls were good. I liked that the wrappers weren't too thick. Both had just meat and cabbage in them. A little more filling would have made them better. The yum yum sauce is a must. The wings were a decent size. The flavor was good even though I really didn't get much of a garlic taste out of them. Am I glad I pulled up, yes. Would I make that long drive to try again, probably not. Very disappointed how salty the food was. The concept is great but needs improvement. For example, Hibachi sit down restaurants are no where near as salty to taste as this place. This restaurant is using a lot of MSG and should consider making their sauces from scratch vs. the Chinese bottles of sauce I saw on the counter. I hope they improve. This place could really take off. I love supporting black businesses. read more

Ordered 2 dishes for delivery. It was delivered to the wrong apartment. I contacted the driver and he suggested I go pick it up. When I said that I was recovering from heart surgery. He hung up on me. When I contacted grubhub. They said that I couldn't cancel the tip. They placed a replacement order. When it arrived another hour later the hot food was refrigerated cold and loaded with salt and the salt was the only thing you could taste. They said a refund would take ten days or more Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

It's honestly a good place to eat at. But it's the time limit they said it's going to take 44-50 mins but it's been past 2 hours or more and we haven't got our food yet. Other then that it's has good food. read more
