This was my first visit to Philly's Finest. I liked the casual atmosphere walking in and it felt like your local "sub spot." I liked that they had their menu taped on the window so you could look at it before even going in. The menu was also at the counter and written on the chalk board so there were lots of way to see it. There was also a decent number of options. I went with #3 combo which was the Italian Grinder, Small drink, and fries (or a choice of coleslaw or chips). It does also come with a small crunchy chocolate chip cookie. I was underwhelmed mostly as the fries and were just okay. The value of the meal is worth it, I just felt that the sub overall was just fine... nothing special. You order at the counter and they will call your name once ready, so the service is pretty minimal. I would go back and try something else.

Solid, but inauthentic Philly Cheesesteaks. I can here for lunch on a whim with no expectations. I ordered the original Philly Cheesesteak with a side of fried zucchini. The cheesesteak was on the smaller side and oddly had pickles and tomatoes, which I would order without next time. Bread roll was solid, but I wish the meat portion was larger for price. The star of the show was fried zucchini! They were fried and seasoned extremely well and the zucchini stayed crunchy and wasn't soggy. I would come again if I'm craving cheesesteaks!

This place has really stepped up it's game due to the increased competition in Tucson. A great lunch spot and they have cookies!

Will not eat here again. No meat in sandwich. All bread. Cheese steak was super salty. Horrible.

We asked if they could bring it over next door to the Broadway, and they happily said yes , plus, they gave us a 10% discount! Great service, tasty sandwiches, and such a nice experience overall.

Creative sandwich concepts and pretty quality ingredients. I love that I can choose from 3…read moredifferent types of breads. The garlic sauce is also very good. However, I have to give 3 stars for the overall execution of my meal. I had a half of a Hammer sandwich which was about $8. It's ham, soppressata, cheese, lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, dijon, vinegar, oil, garlic sauce. Unfortunately, I felt that my sandwich came with skimpy toppings. I got a pretty thinly stacked layer of ham and 2 little ovals of soppressata. The cheese was barely present. I also would have loved more tomato. I got a good amount of lettuce and banana peppers, though! Unfortunately, I just couldn't taste the meat and cheese toppings super well due to their being not much of them on the sandwich. The flavor of all the other ingredients were good, though. My friend got the Scramwich on Foccacia for $14. Looking at it, I could also tell it had not much proscuitto. Upon further inspection opening one of the halves of the sandwich... it was definitely only a few little smaller pieces of proscuitto. (The other toppings were on the other piece of bread, don't worry, those were fine) Sorry for the ugly photo - hard to really capture it without dissecting the thing. I also just noticed while looking at the photo again that one of the pieces of arugula also had black spots on it... Definitely not very fresh. My friend still enjoyed the foccacia, sundried tomatoes, and other toppings, but also felt there wasn't enough proscuitto. For the price, I would hope for a sufficient amount of meat. Heard a lot of hype about Quisty's and I see great potential in their quality and concepts! With better execution I'd definitely consider coming back. It's just hard to justify paying as much as we did for sandwiches that were skimpy on arguably one of the most important toppings!

I've been here at least 100 times and usually get the exact same thing: a plain Jane on white with turkey, mayo, provolone, avocado, and lettuce with kettle chips as the side. I also get a cannoli when they still have some. The food is always amazing! It is single-handedly the best bread and sandwich I've had anywhere and I get it every time I visit Tucson now that I've moved. The bread is so good that buy a large loaf and take it home with me to make sandwiches with. The people who work here are super sweet and friendly. They work quickly even when they're completely packed. I've never once had a problem with my order being incorrect or how I've been treated there. It has only ever been a positive experience. The restaurant itself is lovely. There is a good amount of seating but sometimes you do have to troll for a seat when it's really busy. The space is clean and easy to move around. The bathrooms are also clean and are kept well-stocked. The parking in the shopping center is difficult but that's because both Beyond Bread and Bookmans share the parking lot so there are just a lot of people there in general. I love this place and I hope you do too. If you haven't been, you just don't know you love it yet.

Their veggie shawarma is so freaking good--warm, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and one of those dishes you keep thinking about after you leave. It's hearty, satisfying, and proof that vegetarian options don't have to feel like an afterthought. And major bonus points for the vegan version of their Unreal Reuben. Finding a plant-based Reuben that actually hits the spot isn't easy, and this one does. Savory, comforting, and done right. Yes, it's usually busy--but that's because people know what they're doing here.
