The best tomato bisque I've ever had and the first place on my mind on a rare rainy day in Tucson!

This is the one i go to most. Big multi facility parking lot. Easy to get a spot. Ambiance/cleanliness- Its a nice, welcoming space with the best seating of any I have been to...outdoor area as well. Clean enough, someone didn't bus their table and it stayed that way for a good 15 minutes. Bathroom was clean. 4 stars Service- Not bad..above average. Staff was welcoming and courteous. 4 stars. Food-Not a Reuben, pasta salad and iced tea. The salad was bitter from oregano and had one cherry tomato sliced in half. The tea was very sweet (can always add more sugar, can't take it out) Sandwich was good, but skimpy and the meal was 23.00. Cookie was delish. 2 stars. It's just gotten too expensive for the portion. read more

Ordered a half BLT Two orders of Tomato soup Then while I'm waiting a server tells me they are out of tomato soup - so I ask to just refund what they didn't have - she tells me she can't - and then I'll have to call corporate to refund it - I took what was left of my order and left to another Baggin's cause I really wanted the soup - I get to the other one and get told they are out - I ask her how are the refunds handle - and explain what happen at the Williams center baggins - I was inform they should of just refunded it there and then cause used a credit card - I left again called the other baggins to which the William Center baggins has yet to responded - I wouldn't doubt if servers were faking refunds and pocketing the cash read more

I had the Unforgettable Baggins sandwich - it was good! The sprouts kind of overpowered the sandwich a bit, so I would recommend either getting without or just ask them to lighten the amount. The rest of our group got different sandwiches including the California BLT, the Tuna, and the Philly... all said we're good, but not excellent (which the price indicates it should be). With other sandwich competition around, I'm not sure this will be a staple, but it was good enough! read more

It's so bad we stopped dinning in and only took to go orders for the last couple of years today might be my last to go order.when I picked up my togo order the young man never said a word back to me . I tried to figure out it the order was ready After giving the name of the order I was left looking at a blank face . Then I started to repeat the order I don't get confirmation just a blank stare on his face. If you have food allergies avoid baggins. I've tried to give them chances, hoping they've learned. My husband ordered lunch, in store this week. He spoke with the manager explaining dairy allergy. They said they understood and then put 2 slices of cheese on the sandwich! Seriously don't understand how a restaurant doesn't understand that cheese is dairy! My husband called once we opened the sandwich and they failed to return the call. Done giving them the benefit of the doubt. First time I have ever had Baggin's and my wife has told me how good it is. First was the sticker shock $21 dollars for 1 build your own turkey sandwich! I got the pastrami sandwich. The turkey sandwich my wife said was not that good and definitely not worth the money. My pastrami sandwich was not great either it had a whopping 6 pieces of thin pastrami and greasy grilled bread. Service was ok they were not that friendly but they were not mean just there to do a job. I will say it was clean if there was a positive out of this. We did a really large order. There's some things that are not forgivable. When you order a Caesar salad with no chicken and that item is listed on the menu that way. You would think there would be no chicken! guess what there was chicken, the person I ordered it for is a vegetarian. No lunch for him. Big meeting. 12 people. My last review may have a little tough on them. Or maybe COVID has lowered my standards or altered my expectations. Or maybe I am just not as grouchy, cheap or gluttonous as I used to be. I still believe some of their sandwiches could benefit from another slice or two of meat but that may just depend on what you order. For example: The Southwest Tuna Melt. It had a good portion of tuna with tomatoes and cheese. The Southwest in the title was due to the purported presence of jalapenos, which I did not taste. Regardless, the perfectly grilled bread was a nice sturdy vessel for all the ingredients. They also offer a number of their sandwiches on gluten-free bread, which makes my wife happy. My chicken tortilla soup was good...(a bit salty, but still good). The sundown ...was YUMMY! I changed the bread to 12 grain, and it is basically Thanksgiving dinner...in a sammich! Baggins has been going down hill for years now and this location sealed the deal for me. I won't be going back to any locations now. I got a half sandwich with pasta salad and a drink and it came out to $17.99 but the sandwich was mediocre (way too much cream cheese and the bacon was cooked crispy but it was still chewy?) and the pasta salad was dry. Baggin's always delivers on their sandwiches. The 12 grain bread is my favorite or the croissant. The Baggin's club Is my go to sandwich in addition to the ham and cheese croissant and the cowboy. But who am I kidding, all the sammies are good! This location is my personal favorite. read more

The salad was served in what appeared to be a bread bowl, but it looked and felt like a greasy yet rock hard sponge consistency. I couldn't identify the bread. The chicken in the salad seemed super processed like it was pressed meat. Just wasn't all that appetizing. I read the reviews and decided to give them a chance anyway. I mean how hard is it to screw up a club sandwich. Well, not hard for this place. Wish it would let me leave a NO star review. I have a severe lactose intolerance and told the manager I needed sourdough bread and she didn't give me the right one. Of course I ate it before I realized it. SO SICK!!! Barely gave us any meat on the sandwich and when my husband asked for more meat, she started biting her fingernails and freaked out. It definitely seemed as though she had a social disorder. So I felt bad, but you just don't put someone in a leadership role that doesn't know how to deal with people or deal with allergies. Also, way over priced. Overall, I'm not crazy about Baggin's (This is one of three I've been to in the Tucson area) but this one has a much larger and more varied menu than the other two locations, which is what makes it great! Their sandwiches are average but I used to come here with coworkers all the time when I worked nearby and I love their salads, especially the bbq chicken. Yum! Also, since their name is "Baggin's" I totally think they should have something Tolkien inspired (particularly when the movies were coming out?) on their menu. I honestly stopped here for the first time BECAUSE of the name so it surprised me that they didn't have anything related to that as part of restaurant. I had the BBQ chicken salad which was so, so, flipping good! I'm still smacking my lips thinking about it! I love salads that don't make you "feel" like you are eating a salad, you know what I mean? One thing...the salad was in a bread bowl. I'm not sure what the point of this was...I ended up throwing it away after I finished the salad. The idea of having bread with ranch on it wasn't appealing to me... I also got the Rum Cake which was OK. I wish I knew it had nuts in it and would have a very soft texture, almost tres leches, like without the milk on the bottom of the container. I probably won't order it again. The best dessert though was the chocolate chip cookie, which I don't know if it was a mistake put in my bag or if it came as a meal with the salad?? Either way, I was a Happy Hippo when I got it. The lady waited around till she had 4 bag ready to make a walk to the table instead of handing them out as they came.
