I am SO happy they opened a location closer to home. We got pizza, and cheesesteak egg rolls. Both tasted fresh and great. The same Santucci's that fed my beautiful South Philly slummin days and later my Fairmount movin-on-up-Jefferson style nights? It was true. Fortunately for my coworkers my conscious set in and I shared a few square inches of the savory pizza love with them. I ordered an original gourmet and meat lover's pizza for my group - unexpectedly introducing them to Santucci's. The golden, buttery crust was baked to perfection. Square pizza was SO good! We got a medium pie which looked small initially but it was very filling!

I had never been to Santucci's but heard it was good, and was craving pizza so we decided to try it. We got takeout that we picked up. The square pizza was ok but on the bland side, and there was definitely nothing special about it. The edges of the crust were firm and somewhat crispy but the bottom was soggy. Maybe it's better if you eat it in the restaurant? Several reviewers said it gets soggy if they put too much sauce on it, so maybe that's what happened. The chicken parm sandwich was mediocre. It was full of breaded chicken but dry and not very flavorful. I cannot comment on the restaurant itself because I didn't pick up our food. The woman who answered the phone and took our order was pleasant. If I was near Santucci's and hungry, I might stop for a slice. Otherwise, I would not go out of my way for their food. read more

Stopped by on their first day open, as you would expect, it was very clean, I like the design and look forward to getting a better idea of what is like when it is full of people. Service was very good and we also met the owner, she stopped by our table a few times to make sure everything was going well and to thank us for stopping by. There is a back entrance from a side street which will be great when you leave so you don't have to try and turn on Street Road... The food was great, I had a cheesesteak and the person with me had a meatball parm sandwich. We also had a side order of sweet potato fries. The cheesesteak was not overcooked or greasy so that was good but I do prefer a little more cheese so maybe next time I will order some extra. I am looking forward to trying their pizza as its been a while since I had it from one of their other locations. Giving them a 5 star since you always get great things on their first day, will come back a month or two later and that will tell a better story. read more

Wish I could leave less stars. Got a large square pizza, cost 20 bucks on uber eats; definitely not worth it. The crust was burnt in places and completely flavorless. The sauce and cheese were not great. Sauce was ok, but no better then sauce you would get on a frozen pizza. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would for this delivered door dash experience. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. The whole order arrived fresh and hot and the deserts were separated and kept cold. The penne pasta was spot on and the chicken parm was amazing. Before I get into anything, I just want to say that the restaurant itself is very nicely decorated & the staff (aside from one waitress that I encountered) are very kind!! Inconsistent. I've ordered the chicken caesar salad on 3 separate occasions & each time it was different. The first time it was awesome! Large shavings of cheese & creamy dressing. 2nd time, shake parm cheese & it was more of an oil based dressing. 3rd time, shake parm again & the dressing was "ok". During one of my visits my friend had to send her salad back because the lettuce was so wilted & slimy (it never should have been served in the first place). The waitress never apologized or even politely acknowledged my friends disappointment. Without telling us, the waitress removed the cost of her salad but still charged her for the chicken (it was a chicken caesar). Rapid Fire Service. My family & I went of an early (4pm) dinner for which I made a reservation. When we got there, the restaurant was practically empty & our table wasn't even set up. I had to wipe down all of the seats because all 10 of them were covered in crumbs. While we were eating our appetizers, our salads came out. Maybe halfway through eating our salads we were bombarded by 4 servers delivering our food. Mind you, the appetizers were still on the table. I had worked as a waitress for several years...You do NOT serve a following course until the current course has been cleared from the table - EVER. Not to mention that 4 of the entrees were delivered to the wrong people. On a positive note, our waitress was very nice! I don't understand why we were so rushed... 3 visits are enough for me. My husband and I have been driving by the location on Street Road and finally Saturday decided to give it a shot - and I am glad we did! The pizza was DELISH! Honestly, it was my favorite kind of pie - sauce on top! Crust was super crunchy and the toppings (onions, mushrooms and sausage) were delicious. They have a great big space and tons of staff so food comes out quick and hot with a smile. The best was towards the end, a woman came to clear our table and asked us about the food - she then introduced herself as Teresa Santucci - the owner. Got pizza to go last Sunday and I definitely learned, Santucci's is better hot and ready. I got home and the pizza was cold so I had to reheat it. The mozzarella fries were hard and crusty by the time I ate it, and I only drove about 15-20 minutes. The buffalo chicken rolls were still hot and great though. I heard many great things about this restaurant. My family was anxious to try. I placed a take out order which was a disaster. Turns out the girl answering the phone did not know the menu. Rather than tell me she didn't know the menu, she chose to guess at the answers to my questions and told me complete wrong information. I changed my order based on the things she told me. When I picked up my order, I found out the things I wanted were actually available on the menu. (By the way, I looked at the menu on line which added to my confusion with this girl but she insisted the things I wanted to order were not available). I am not sure why any establishment would allow an untrained person to answer the phone. This is complete frustration to a customer. The menu is not difficult. Keep in mind...we really want to like this restaurant and are willing to have a few strikes before we give up on it. It has a very clean, contemporary dining area and perhaps that is the better way to go rather than take out. Our "square" plain pizza with sauce on top (the way they make it) was a bit rubbery and I was convinced there was no cheese bc it was hard to find. I suggest asking for extra cheese if doing take out. The chicken fingers (waitress told us only 4 in the order but there were lots more than 4), were a bit rubbery. The spaghetti meal needed extra sauce and family did not enjoy it. Take out food was wrapped nicely, still nice and hot when we put it on our table but unfortunately we were NOT able to say..."can't wait to get that again". This was my first time trying this place out. I read some of the reviews and decided to give it a try. First off customer service is great. The young lady that was at the front was very patient with me cause I didnt know what I wanted and when I asked about the sizes and servings she was able to elaborate. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because I ordered the cheesesteak eggrolls, which were not tasty and a bit pricey for 3 small, 9 dollars. They were soggy. Maybe because I had them to go which also included my sauce that caused the plastic container to melt therefore wasting on the eggrolls. This is by far the best place to eat at. The food is great and the chicken wings and Mega fries are the best I have had. It's BYOB which is even greater. They have a great menu with a large variety to choose from. Great for big and small families. They also offer catering. The facility is very large. We absolutely love this restaurant. This is our go to place for pizza and wings. Last night we ordered a few things and all were good except the wings were over cooked. We had ordered through Uber Eats and I tried reaching out to them and was transferred 3 times and then offered no resolution. Meanwhile I emailed the restaurant and explained my situation. The next morning Uber Eats had finally compensated me for the problem. I emailed the restaurant again to let them know I was taken care of and there was no need to make amends. The owner Nick then emailed me and apologized for the delay and even said he would have called Uber Eats to make sure I was taken care of. The level of professionalism in reaching out and apologizing goes a long way. Mistakes happen but the way you treat your customers goes a long way in my book. We will have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant to friends and family and we will certainly be back! read more

Their key lime cake wasn't really cake, which was disappointing, and it didn't really have the flavor I was looking for. Their tiramisu cake on the other hand was absolutely delicious! I don't like coffee and I could taste it in there - but I tasted it. That means it was well made. Overall I had a very good dinner here, and would go again. **UPDATE** No change on taste or anything, I just wanted to add that for the meals, I think it would be cool if you had a smaller portion size available for less money if people don't eat that much. I ordered chicken scampi with angel hair pasta and a side salad. The menu stated that my pasta dish would have tomatoes, wine and scampi sauce. When it arrived it had no tomatoes, overcooked linguini instead of angel hair, the sauce reeked of fish and the chicken appeared and tasted like it was boiled. The side salad was okay.
