I always look at their swag, but they don't have a lot in store. You can get more online. I thought it was odd that they had a hooded sweatshirt rather than a T-shirt during the summer, but maybe that's popular in this area. I ordered a peanut butter cold brew, which was amazing. I think it's a summer thing for a seasonal drink. It was very, very tasty. I love the vibe of Philz! So chill - people hanging out and getting work done. It's got a great spots for sofa or tables or high chairs spaces. My favorites are Mojito and Mocha Tesoro. Amazing location. Drink was a let down. The area is nice, spacious, lively... It was a perfect night to sit around and chill with my friends (though we didn't stay long). Plenty of available seating both inside and outside. Loved the ambience of the area. The guy that helped me was nice, quick... However, my Mint Mojito did not taste how it should taste and that was a bummer. Maybe it's my fault not walking back in when I had the chance and having them fix it (since I did get the large size and it went to waste after)... but, it should've been made right to begin with. Honestly, I'm more annoyed I had all my friends try it before I did because they've never had Philz coffee & I was raving about how good the Mint Mojito was... only to finally drink it myself and it tasted like really bad, watered down coffee with Mint leaves added-- not the creamy, minty deliciousness that I know and love. Shame that that was their first sip. Yes, the rating seems harsh and I was going to give 2 stars because of the area it's in but-- this rating isn't for the cute ambience around it... this rating is for the cafe itself and the drink that was made... sadly, that deserves 1star (if that). I've been coming here for a few years to study or just draw and the atmosphere is quite nice and relaxing. Their coffee is decent but my biggest gripe is how COLD it is in there. Lowkey on me for forgetting to bring my jacket every time but even in the winter it is at MOST 60 degrees in there. Please god just turn it up. They have such a prime location and vibe too due to how it's at Main Street but service always feels like they're dragging their feet even during non-busy times. So happy they have a rewards program now, and glad to see the expansion (there's so many new stores and varieties of brews) but quality per cup has fallen by the wayside, as has the experience. It feels more like a factory of workers churning out cups of coffee without the personal touch that Philz was known for. Sadly, it's been hit or miss the times I've gone here recently. The other day, my coffee tasted burnt and not at all the way it was supposed to with the subtle flavors of the brew. Part of paying a premium is getting the quality that is difficult to replicate at home. I also miss the humble energy when Philz first started out and each staff member truly cared about your experience and the cup of coffee. For the price point, it's a shame that's no longer the case. Most staff here are hardworking and friendly, but some could use work on their skills. As someone who worked in the service industry, I 100% believe you should be acknowledged/rewarded for the work you do -- it's tough! But the automatic expectation of getting a tip and side eye you get if you don't is beyond ridiculous. And it's not just specific to Philz. Still a great cup of coffee. Just really expensive now. And you still have to wait (of course) so the appeal for a good cup of Joe is gone. read more

I love their emphasis on the variety of bean selection as it gives the opportunity to find one that aligns more with each person's palette. Now, while I got the Silken Splendor that is supposed to have notes of chocolate, toffee, and citrus, this is something that I find far too subtle compared to something that is very strong like coffee. That being said, this bean selection is much higher quality than if I were to pick just a random "medium blend" as it comes off very easy to drink, likely aligning with what is being described as the "citrus" notes, but not in an unpleasantly acidic way that some other coffee exhibits. I have really been loving their seasonal tiramisu drink -- super creamy and the sweetness level is very fitting. I have been getting it most days lately. Lots of parking and there's a few parking areas around the plaza if you can't find parking right by the Philz; it can get a bit hard when it's during the busier hours though since there's a lot of different businesses and restaurants at this plaza. There's a lot of seating inside as well and free wifi, and I was able to snag a seat by an outlet since my laptop was dying. The workers are always so nice and the music isn't too loud, which I appreciate a lot since I tend to come here to either catch up with a friend or to do work. This is probably my favorite coffee spot to study. It's nice and bright and has the setting where the background music isn't too loud or distracting. There's also a decent amount of outlets as well too. I love the coffee here. It's strong and for tasty. I like getting medium sugar and medium cream if you want something a little sweeter. I also usually order on my app. The only reason I don't give this place a 5 star is that sometimes the drinks take longer than the stated time. Whenever I order in person, I am always greeted with the bold scents of coffee brewing, ambiance, and friendly employees. If it's your first time there, they'll walk you through their menu based on what you like (I'm a sweet and creamy kind of guy when it comes to how I order my coffee). When they call for you to pick up your order( they politely ask you to take a sip to see how it tastes, and if it's not the right amount of sweetness, they'll fix it! Love the staff here! Parking is in Main Street Cupertino so can be difficult to find on busier days, but there is a free garage around the corner. It went from a fairly well oiled machine, with decent wait times and mostly consistent drinks - back to hour+ wait times, wrong and inconsistent drinks, and limits on orders (three items max on via mobile). The new staff are a lot of the people who you didn't like at the Starbucks across the street. Yay... Why can't we have nice things? My daughter got a vegan brownie was nice since she has a dairy allergy hard to find a brownie she can have. It was rich chocolate flavor and not dry was really great for vegan. Service was quick and nice and they made everything correctly the first time. They are super busy location we waited about five minutes so not that bad at all for how busy they are. It says hot coffee. Unfortunately I was an idiot and I pre-ordered it. .. I have found that anytime you pre-order from any restaurant. They screw up your order in one way or another so I recommend you never ever never pre-order food from any restaurant because each restaurant to my opinion and experience don't know what the hell they're doing. I also ordered a green chili burrito. I don't know whether there was no green chilies to be set to be found and it was pretty much tasteless not worth the money whatsoever. . I had a good experience at this Philz Coffee. I found the workers very cheery, often providing positive and encouraging comments, and the space overall clean. Drinks are all typical drinks you'd see in any Philz. They do have tables so you can get work done and some outlets around the store. They also have wifi. The bathroom was clean. And I also liked how they had an advertisement board where I could find out about local businesses around and local events happening soon. I like how this location is open a bit longer than the other Cupertino location. It's easy to mobile order ahead via the app. The tricky part is the parking. This is my favorite Philz location on Main St. After a lunch last summer, I stopped at this Philz Coffee shop to not only escape the exceptional heat outside, but also to tackle some work. Perfect spot. I highly suggest their famous Iced Mint Mojito but also to request for the House Made way. It's worth it! It's amazingly refreshing! I regularly drink my coffee straight black with no cream, sugar, or flavoring. There are only a few exceptions like a hot summer day when I will order this specialty drink. Came by for coffee the other day and it was a mediocre experience. Parking was available in front of the coffee shop or in the garage. Ordering is done by either using the app or queuing in line. Pastries were available behind the counter and the flies appeared to be enjoying the pastries on the open counter... yum... Staff here is incredibly friendly and accommodating. One thing I'll say is that I don't love studying here as much as the other Philz in the bay because they have a tendency to prop open the doors an hour or two before closing time and it makes the inside of the place pretty cold. read more

My first time in Philz Coffee and I love it. This place is famous for its brew and filtered coffee. This location in Cupertino opens at 5.30am and closes at 9 pm which is amazing business hours for the early birds and people who like having a cup of coffee in the evenings. I came around 10am and it wasn't too busy and ordered Philtered Soul with cream and light sweetened. You can choose how sweet and how creamy you coffee is. They also have decaf options and tea. Pastry look delicious too! The place is comfy too: you can sit inside enjoying AC or outside under the umbrellas enjoying the sun. The parking is very limited in front of the building. Philz coffee is so good! The staff is super friendly and ready to help. The mint coffee was recommended to me, which I was initially hesitant to try, but I'm so glad that I did.
