    Matcha and Cocona coffee
    Jeanne A.

The atmosphere of this place is relaxing and well decorated. Love how there's a lot of seating as well as some tables that can be converted to chairs too. I ordered a matcha latte and the cocona coffee. Both drinks tastes amazing and love how you can customize the sweetness which is a huge plus for me. I tend to not like really sweet drinks so being able to adjust that is perfect. The customer service was exceptional. I did come in on a Wednesday early afternoon so there wasn't many customers, I didn't feel rushed to ask questions about the menu and the workers even offered free samples of their drinks. They're both knowledgeable and nice. Can't wait to come back again (:

Took my daughter here for a daddy-daughter date and really enjoyed the cozy vibe. The only thing that threw me off was how low the chairs were I wasn't expecting to do squats while drinking coffee. Lol I also think real plants instead of fake ones would make the space feel even more fresh and inviting. Still cool though The drinks were okay. I tried the Robusta (their take on Vietnamese coffee), and it just wasn't my favorite. My daughter got the Mango Matcha Sticky Rice drink, and while it was creative, we both thought it was a little too sweet. You might like it though Overall, it's a nice place with a cool atmosphere, cool workers and okay drinks.

    Robusta with Ube Cold Foam

First time visiting this coffee shop and it was a great experience overall. The cashier was very friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain the different drinks on the menu and even offering samples, which made it easier to decide what to order. I ended up getting the Robusta coffee with ube cold foam. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the ube cold foam added a nice touch without being overly sweet. My only minor criticism is the price, $7.50 felt a little steep for the size and drink combination. The shop itself is aesthetically pleasing, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. While they don't have their rewards program fully set up yet, you can already sign up through their self-ordering system. They also offer a stamp card where you can earn a free coffee after your 10th visit. Overall, good coffee, excellent customer service, and a beautiful space. I'd definitely come back to try more of their drinks.

I actually enjoyed the drinks. The service was nice. They were fast and polite. The ambiance was cute. I enjoyed the plants ambience. However some of their seats were a bit uncomfortable. However this place is really cute.

    Inside on a Sunday

Came here around midday Sunday with my wife and it was pretty busy inside. Ordering on the kiosk was fast and easy. My wife ordered the nubela and we sat down to wait for it. It was loud with all the people inside hanging out. The plants were so nice, but when you look closer, they're fake but a really good fake. It doesn't matter much since it's just for the vibes. A couple ordered after us and got their two drinks before we got our singular drink, and one of theirs was the same one as ours, so that was kinda weird. The drink itself was pretty good and got the recommended 50% sweetness. Overall, I'd come back to hang out. Oh yeah, the tables convert into chairs.

Such a cute new spot! They just opened for their soft opening, and I'm so glad I stopped by. They're tucked right behind Jollibee in National City, so they're a little hidden, but definitely worth finding. The vibe was so cozy and welcoming. I loved all the plants and the aesthetic--it felt like a nice little place to slow down and enjoy a drink. The staff greeted us warmly the second we walked in, which made such a great first impression. They even offered free samples so we could try a few drinks before ordering, which I thought was such a nice touch. I ended up getting the Duck Shit tea and it was actually so good! The name alone made me laugh, and I loved the cup too. It's a smaller space, but unique. I can definitely see people coming here to catch a vibe, sip on some tea or coffee, and relax for a bit. I really hope they get the attention they deserve because I think with the right advertising they'll do great. They're in a corner, but with all the traffic going in and out of the two neighboring plazas, I think people will start discovering them. I love seeing unique small businesses like this open up in my city, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu. If you're in the area, stop by and show them some love!

Great tasting Vietnamese coffee, it's not as strong as I'm used to but it's not bad. The vibe here is dope though; the forest-like decor with low camp.chairs and short tables -- I'd hang out here with friends to catch up. They have tea and matcha drinks too but I thought for my first visit, in honor of the name of the store, I have to have the classic. My friend got the coconut coffee; interesting take on Vietnamese coffee.

I love the vibe of this place, and the drinks are delicious! I was in need of an afternoon coffee fix, happened to be in the area, and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did because this spot has definitely earned a place on our list of go-to coffee shops. They're currently celebrating their soft opening, so all drinks are 10% off--a great excuse to stop by and check them out. If you're looking for a tasty drink, a welcoming atmosphere, and a good deal, I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

The ambience is very jungle like and you can tell that they put work and making the place look really nice. I will say that it would be nice if the options on the menu had more of a description of what we're in it because I'm not typically a drinker of coffees like that so I was a little bit lost. I ordered the Ube something.. it was pretty good.

I had been eagerly waiting for this place to open and came in with high expectations, but unfortunately the soft opening experience fell short. The ordering process is done through kiosk, and there was already a wait just to place an order. If you want to browse the menu beforehand, it's displayed closer to the counter and isn't easily visible from the entrance. Even when standing near it, the font was difficult to read and could benefit from better design for readability. After ordering, we waited over 20 minutes for just two drinks, which was disappointing. We ordered the Robusta with Panda Foam and the Tropica. When my drink was finally ready, I almost left without the foam because they had run out and no one informed me until I went back to ask. The barista did offer alternative foam options, and I chose the ube foam. Unfortunately, neither drink impressed me. The coffee didn't have the rich, bold flavor I typically expect from Vietnamese coffee. Instead, it tasted watered down and overly sweet. The Tropica was also underwhelming, with the grapefruit being the only flavor that really stood out. I hope they can improve the operations and the drinks over the next few months. I'd be willing to give them another try once they've had more time to settle in.

Really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately left disappointed. The interior is super cute but they have a lot of things to work out. The first challenge was the ordering system. Ordering is kiosk only, which means there's very little interaction with staff. There was only one kiosk available, so the line moved pretty slowly. A lot of the wait seemed to come from people standing at the kiosk trying to read the menu for the first time. There is a small printed menu near the counter, but it wasn't very noticeable, so many people didn't see it before reaching the front. The second issue was the wait time. It took about 30 minutes to receive two drinks, which felt excessive for such a small order. As for the drinks, I wasn't very impressed. I ordered the mango drink, and it mostly tasted like milk. The rice in the drink was actually really good, but I didn't taste any mango. The drink also tasted surprisingly sour, though I'm not sure if that's how it's intended to taste. Both I and a couple of the people I visited with also experienced some stomach issues afterwards. Overall, it wasn't the best first visit. That said, I know they're currently in their soft opening phase, so I'm willing to give them another try in a few months once they've had more time to work out some of the kinks.

Loved this place! Phil Coffee Shop has such a cute aesthetic with all the plants and wooden furniture--it feels cozy and relaxing from the moment you walk in. The staff was super friendly and took the time to explain the menu since it was our first visit. They even let us try a few samples before we decided what to order, which we really appreciated. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the whole experience made us want to come back. It's only been open about a month, but they're already off to a great start. Wishing them all the success!

I started coming here about two weeks ago and I'm on my fifth visit. My mom, my sister, my niece and I are all over their yogurt based drinks. Not only is their menu unique, but the staff is lovely and are always willing and able to answer our questions. The decor is amazing and the ambiance is perfectly chill. I think we might become regulars here.

I think mostly the presentation was enticing but the flavor was just ok. The milky cornet pie that my husband chose was better than the ube donut IMO. In fact, I wish we bought 4 of those things!!! The cream was delicious (reminds me of a super smooth and not too sweet custard) and the crust around it was so yummy. It was gone in three shared bites. Matcha was nothing mind-blowing but I do think they use a good quality matcha for their matcha latte drinks. We got the iced matcha latte and it was a refreshing afternoon drink to go along with the cornet pie. We also bought a bag of sliced bread and it was very good quality and taste.
