    Milo Crunchy latte
    Vivian M.

I like the ambiance. Modernized Filipino culture setting. Love their classy rattan chairs. They have novelty items for sale. I love the selections of their lattes. But i wish they have more selections. So i was thinking, is this because it's still a soft opening (trial selection since they are barely new). I ordered "Milo Crunchy Latte" it was really good because It was not sweet, it was bittersweet, nostalgic taste of milo! The selections of pastries are good. My husband ordered their famous bibingka donut. He was satisfied. The service was quick. So overall, it was a good experience!

I found this place on Instagram and saw it was in my parent's neighborhood. So after a nice morning walk, we headed over at opening to get the Bibingka and Ube donuts. There was surprisingly no line and 2 other groups sitting at tables. They used to have a 2 per person rule but I guess they got rid of it, so we ordered a 6 pack (2 Ube and 4 Bibingka). The Ube was my favorite as it came with a coconut smear on the side. I used it for both donuts. Both very flavorful and worth the price. As the only specialty Filipino bakery/cafe, it makes sense! Will definitely be back the next visit!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars if I could. Such a cute coffee and pastry shop with so much creativity when it comes to traditional Filipino desserts. They do an amazing job of making their pastries less sweet than the traditional versions, which makes them much more enjoyable for people who don't have a huge sweet tooth. It also pairs perfectly with their coffee. Because of how popular they are, expect a long line during peak brunch hours on the weekends. Parking can also be a challenge since they share a small plaza with several other businesses. My go to order is the Mrs. Nguyen Vietnamese Coffee and their bibingka. The bibingka is incredibly soft with perfectly crispy edges, making it one of the best I've had. The drinks, pastries, and overall atmosphere make this an easy spot to keep coming back to. Love the vibe, love the creativity, and can't wait to try more of the menu.

Sinta has a nice dessert case and a curated caffeine menu to match. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and there was a full variety of desserts - I got the bibingka donut (gf) and I'm eyeing the napoleon for next time. Everyone on staff was kind and I enjoyed sitting at the table shortly after I got my order. The cafe feels spacious and intentional, not to mention very clean. I liked my Milo latte, you could taste the coffee and the Milo powder went well with it. The bibingka donut was solid and I liked how the leaf is incorporated. I'm happy I checked this place out and it's got parking spots too. Perfect vibe for meeting up with gals and guys.

Discovered this bakery on IG and we were able to make it before they close at 2pm daily on my day off from work. The place is very cute. I ordered a lot of variations since it's a 30 minute drive from my place. I ordered a box of their popular pastries. The most stand out to me was their bibingka donuts. The crisp outside and softness inside. The texture was perfect and enjoyable. I ordered around 8 pastries and the pandan latte. It came out pretty quick and service was good too. I would love to come back when I get another day off from work to drive down south.

I 100% recommend this place. They captured the flavors so well it was unreal!! I love all things Filipino food and desserts and I was so impressed when I saw all the different flavors they have that remind me of my favorites. Starting with the Calamansi cup cake, my goodness it was simply delicious with mango and poppy seeds. The Turon cupcake was my favorite, the banana flavored cup cake with the caramelized crunchy garnish was out of this world and it melts in your mouth. I really enjoyed their bibingka donut, it was so buttery and I could taste bits of the cream cheese. I tried other cupcakes too, I wanted everything! The halo halo was good and so was the ube cupcake. I ordered 2 drinks, their buko pandan and it was my favorite since I'm a coconut lover and also their very nostalgic Milo crunch latte. I couldn't get enough and can't wait to be back and try the rest of the menu. The place is small but plenty of seating indoor or outdoor. Love the simple but chic decor, the chairs are beautiful but a little uncomfortable to sit on. They also sell merch and the staff is so nice and friendly. I stopped by on a Saturday morning and it was busy and hard to find parking FYI. A must try 10/10 recommend.

Came here on a Saturday around noon and there were plenty of pastries left. They were only selling matcha drinks since their coffee machine was down, but that's all we needed. The service was good and it was kinda busy inside. It was so nice inside and the atmosphere reminded me of back home in the Philippines. I've had their bibingka donut, ube tart, cheese roll, turon cupcake, ube cupcake, and a few others. Their best item is the bibingka donut. Hands down. The BEST bibingka I've had, especially when you warm it up a bit.

    Sharmagne M.

They need to hire another person because the 2 people in the front won't even look back while making drinks. I understand they're busy but if there's a line out the door, one person can keep making the drinks and the other can take orders. While I was standing there, I knew they knew I was there but they didn't acknowledge me. The baked goods were okay. A bit disappointed because I feel like they veered too far away from Filipino desserts. To me it's just like a cupcake place that's Filipino flavored. It'd be nice if they actually served leche flan, turon and other traditional Filipino baked goods too. And if they'd warm up the bibingka donuts. This place has a lot of potential though! Wishing you guys good luck with your business.

Sinta cafe and bakery in Chula Vista, San Diego, has gone viral for their spin on Filipino desserts. What's famous are their Bibingka donuts, which were served still warm. Had perfect textures of pillowy bibingka with crispy edges. Made sure to try their other things as well! Turon cupcake had nice banana pound cake flavor, topped with a brown sugar taro chip. Mango matcha cupcake is matcha cake with a mango cream and a dried mango. Pavlovas are a perfect meringue filled with whipped cream and topped with bite sized pieces of fig, lychee, strawberry. Overall, this is an outstanding Filipino fusion bakery in SD with solid chops. Will definitely come back and I recommend it!

Finally a Filipino bakery with a modern twist and a gorgeous place to hangout. The place was clean and aesthetically decorated. A great coffee shop to visit with. We need more of these types of places in this neighborhood. They have a great selection of pastries with Filipino inspired flavors. The cupcakes are very light in flavor but the best part of their cupcakes is their cakes. Super moist. Service is as well expected. Drinks came out first and pastries a little bit after since they had to pack them up. The line was long and out the door but move along at a reasonable pace. I ordered the hojicha drink with oat milk. It's made the traditional way with bamboo whisk which I appreciate. I would definitely mark this spot as a frequent visit and go-to spot when meeting with girlfriends.

    Loved their fruit tart

Super cute new bake shop cafe in the Escaya area of Chula Vista. Love all the Filipino touches on all their decor. Really takes you back to the Philippines with the ornate designs. We came in and tried pretty much everything in their display and a few that came out as we were ordering. I have to say their cupcake bases are so moist and spongey and not too sweet, and beautifully decorated! Calamansi Tart had a distinct Calamansi flavor tamped down by cream. The Bibinka donuts were dense but kind of mochi-like. Loved the fruit puff pastry and the custard pastry shaped like a shell. The Pandan cupcake was so moist and easy to put away. Ube tart was good and similar to the Calamansi one, just not citrusy. Also tried their Milo Crunch Latte and it had a sort of mocha feel to it; tried hard not breathe in the powder topping and mix it in right away so I don't choke. lol Def recommend this spot and worth the drive down. Friendly service and a line out the door. Hoping this place continues to do well and lookin forward to trying more of their pastries and maybe their Mrs. Nguyen coffee.

Their bibinka mochi was superior as well as their matcha drink. They had good service but did have a long line. it was super cute inside with cute seating and a huge mirror in the back.

Sinta is such a vibe! The lovely decor pays great homage to Filipino culture and the furniture (seeing it all over social media) was enough for me to stop by. The Milo Crunch Iced Latte was enough to get me to want to return. It was still soft opening when I visited here last weekday morning and pretty busy. It's situated among other businesses in the midst of a residential area. My sister and I both ordered the same drink and thought it was nicely flavored, not too sweet, and strong. We also got a small sample of their many desserts to take home and share with our parents. We tried the Bibingka Donut, Ube Leche Flan Cupcake, and Pandan Cupcake. All were good, not too sweet and approved by picky Filipino parents lol. I'm hoping they add more drink options once they are fully open.

They have a big variety of cakes all ready to go in their cake display. I chose the chocobombon since they didn't have any all vanilla cakes and this one had some vanilla in it and my husbands favorite is vanilla. I really liked that they had candles and cake decorations as well in the store and I bought a few Birthday embellishments which were all $1 each, great price! The staff was nice but not too friendly when I was trying to find out more about the cakes and flavors, I had to read the labels since she didn't provide me any details. The cake was just okay, it was very dense and a bit dry. The marshmallow frosting was a little thick and the overall flavors were definitely different but not sure I would get this flavor again. I would like to try a few more flavors and maybe a tres leches cake to see how those are. It is located in Chula Vista in a small shopping center, limited parking available.

Known for their fresh, daily-baked pastries, it features a self-service (tray-and-tongs) experience in a clean, welcoming environment! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Always making great recommendations for their customers! Parking can be a bit tricky with very few spaces available. Pricing is somewhat higher than it used to be, but then again so is everything else (like gas, lol). They have a great selection of conchas, polvorones, fresh bolillos, empanadas (chicken, beef, jalapeño cream cheese), and custom cakes! Typically, I get the empanadas de piña 10/10! They're so freaking delicious! They feature a golden, buttery, and flaky crust that shatters perfectly when bitten. The moment you walk through the door, the smell of fresh baked pan hits you and it is everything. The selection of pan dulce and bolillos had me feeling like I was back in Mexico City. So many options, beautifully displayed. That part alone almost made the trip worth it. But the customer service... yeah, I'm not the only one who noticed. I asked the lady at the register in Spanish if there was any chocolate pan de muerto and she completely ignored me. Like, didn't even look up. Just called someone from the back in Spanish, which, mija, I understood every word. The girl who came to help me was a little better but not much. She told me the chocolate pan de muerto was sold out, which fine, I get it, it was a holiday. But that's literally all you had to say. No smile, no "sorry we're out," nothing. Just took my money and that was that. The panadería itself deserves five stars. The staff needs some work. I'll probably go back for the pan because it really is that good, but I'm keeping my expectations low on the service side.
