I really don't like leaving bad reviews but I hope in doing so it might improve a restaurant's efforts in providing good quality food to guests, especially more so now because of the cost of eating out. I can only comment on the basic pho and egg rolls I ordered. I never knew you could eat bad pho before this. I've eaten at probably a dozen pho places and this was not pho. Devoid of any spices whatsoever I can only compare it to canned beef broth. They forgot to deliver the sprouts, basil, and jalapeño peppers as well. The noodles were unlike most rice noodles I've eaten in pho. I couldn't even finish it and I've never done that before. The egg rolls were also not standard Vietnamese. They didn't have the wood ear mushrooms and were much smaller. They were closer to fried Chinese or lumpia egg rolls. The dipping sauce was a sweet and sour sauce?!? Not Vietnamese. All that aside, the staff was kind and helpful. Three stars for them. Maybe the other dishes were tasty. But I won't be going back to find out. Just drive 10-15min east and so to Pho So 1 in Simi and see what real Vietnamese food tastes like. read more

We were in Moorpark for our son's basketball tournament and had time to kill in between games so we decided to go out to lunch. First up, where are we gonna eat? My son loves Pho so he asked for Pho and we ended up here at Pho 100. We were waiting outside for the restaurant to open when the owner showed up a little before opening, saw us waiting in our car and asked if we were waiting to come in, we said yes and he welcomed us in. We felt very welcome, what a sweet gesture! I could tell the owner took pride in his restaurant and wanted us to feel welcome. We ordered 2 bowls of the brisket Pho, 1 bowl of the meatball and brisket Pho and the Vermicelli bowl with pork. Oh and we also added the fried egg rolls. Everything was delicious. We consider ourselves Pho aficionados and this place did not disappoint. We will definitely be back! read more

Asian food is hard to find in Moorpark which is why I was excited to try this place. Unfortunately, it did not live to my expectation in terms of authenticity along with the small portions they provided. From their noodles to rice plates, the taste was not right. What rubbed me the wrong was was their fish sauce that tasted like water. It had no spice or color to it. Fish sauce is a very important sauce to Vietnamese rice dishes. If that's made incorrectly then I shall be dining elsewhere. read more

Nice manager who spent time explaining all the varieties of broth and the different food they offer. My husband had a dish with dry noodles and side of broth and home made chili and he loved it. Got a to-go order of the round eye steak pho soup. It was delicious! I got a large size and my husband and I couldn't even finish it, it was such a big portion! This place is actually pretty sad. Broth taste like it's made out of powder. Not really sure what their using. I couldn't even finish it. Vietnamese coffee taste like McDonald's coffee. I tried the pho there and I waited to eat it and it was cold did not taste good. I need to try it out when it is fresh , the other food plates are really good like the broken rice and the vercimelli I think that is how you spell it, all food is fresh and the veggies. Customer service is 100 think it is family owned and they leave little notes on the to go orders it is pretty nice of them to take the time to do that. They do have Thai teas, bobas, many othe drinks. They have outside seating and indoor seating. Place is nice for barely opening and well managed keep up the good work read more

Our family of 10 came in to try this Pho place for the first time. Food is ok but not greatest I've had and the price point is 5 dollars higher than most Pho places. However, I am giving this restaurant only one star for being totally dishonest and lying about our bill. They have policy of upcharging 18% for large parties - they call it a "service charge" instead of a gratuity and they charge tax on it too. We went to pay and they lied saying that the 18% service charge was not included (even though it's clearly on the receipt). On top of that, they told us that "service charge" was not meant for tips which I've never seen at any restaurant. So we paid an additional $40 cash. We asked for the receipt and realized that they made us pay a whopping $68 total in "service charge" and tips for a $158 meal plus more sales tax. That is 48% of the bill which is ridiculous. We questioned them and they ended up giving us some money back. In the end, we ended up paying ~$22 for each bowl of pho. Crazy ridiculous price!!! Beware!!!! This restaurant is dishonest with the bill and will try to take advantage of you by upcharging for service and tips. Ask to see the bill! We will never come back to this place again. Take your business elsewhere! There are plenty of better tasting Pho places around for half the Pho price that do better honest business without tricking you into paying money. read more

Fresh, delicious Pho! One of the best pho soups I've ever had. And yay in Moorpark! Most pho places I feel the chicken tastes old but not here. I got to-go which was great. I do feel like the large pho is a little smaller than nearby Pho places but I usually don't finish it anyway so not too much of a con for me. Google says they close at 7:30, their website says 8 PM. I clarified this with the guy over the phone who said they stop taking over the phone orders at 7:30 and in person orders at 7:45. I'll definitely be back! read more

One of my go to places when I'm working from the office. Combo vermicelli is my favorite. One of the better ones, even compared to those in Westminster. Pho on the other hand is good for this area. Something's missing with the soup though... maybe msg? Or maybe it's probably not using charred onions? Or maybe the soup is not cooked fresh on a daily basis? Or maybe the flank steaks are not rare? They always give nice sides like bean spouts as much as you like though. They definitely should have one of those little cups to put my sauces to dip the meat with. I hate putting hot sauce in the soup. Again, it's solid for this area. Probably not gonna make it in Westminster though. The service on the other end is really nice. So where to begin .... I have had lunch here and the restaurant is so nice on the inside the bowls of Pho are a great size for starters , the broth has such great flavor and the amount of meats or chicken they put in are not skimpy you will definitely be happy.... Tonight I went and picked up to go and drove it all the way to North Hollywood and the soup was still hot when I got home!!! The taste is amazing we love it. My wife's pho was more beefy, which I appreciate because usually sweetness and star anise are the dominant flavors. The spring rolls were also tightly wrapped, tasty, and meaty.
