My husband has been coming here on Fridays for quite some time. He loves this place. Today I finally got to try it. I've never had Vietnamese food, so I was excited. We both ordered the #41 pork vermicelli bowl. Pork over rice and with salad. It was a nice big portion and was really delicious. Tons of flavor and everything cooked well. Jonathan was also very nice and gave us wonderful service outside with our dog. He was very kind and let me try the Pho broth for next time. Highly recommend!

Great little hole in the wall pho shop. The food is always fresh and the owners are really great. I got the house pho with egg noodles and spicy broth. For me the broth wasn't really spicy, but I can see how it could be for those with lower spice tolerances. Our server was attentive and helpful with questions we had for some of the menu items as well. Overall, a great place to eat for lunch or dinner. It's in a private parking lot, no street parking.

If you would like to support a local small business with good food and great service I suggest you give this place a try. I would give them a 4.5 star rating if Yelp allowed. Rounded up to 5 stars as the service was excellent. The Place- Nicely decorated and clean. The Service- Excellent and friendly! I appreciate how hard a new local business works to try and achieve their dream of being a small business owner and they were definitely putting in the effort! The Food- 1) Pho 100 Special- Very good and recommended. Tip- Pay the extra $1.50 to get the large bowl as it is well worth it. 2) Broken Rice Combo- Good but I might try another dish the next time. Parking- Shares a decent sized parking lot with other businesses and parking was easy.

Has a very nice portion of Shrimp PHO,l at PHO 101. They only sell the large portion of PHO for orders to go. It's a little expensive but quite good. My order was a little over $18. There is a good amount of noodles, broth, shrimp, basil, peppers, lime and sprouts. I was full after eating the meal. The restaurant is very nice and the gentleman who took my order was really nice. The employee's that passed me while I was waiting for my order all said hello. Tabes are comfortable for adults and children, and there are plenty of tables. Even though I think the price for the PHO is a bit high I will definitely return.

How was the food? It was so good I cleaned my plate!

Wanted to try out a new Vietnamese place today and PHO 100 did not disappoint. Great service and great food. I ordered #40, which is vermicelli, pork, shrimp, and egg roll.

I skipped breakfast and by the time I had time to eat it was lunch (1PM) and when I looked at Yelp…read moreto try something new these pictures looked appetizing and got me craving sushi. The establishment is kind of hidden in the corner next to the shell gas station and there is ample parking. As I was walking towards the front, I see a sign stating that they have a happy hour starting at 1 o'clock and it was 1259 so I was very excited to see what this look like especially for it being my first time here. This meant that I get to try a lot of new things and a lot more things. There is about 10 to 15 tables inside with different amounts of seating and since it was just my boyfriend and I and the lady gave us the choice to sit wherever then we chose a table with two seats but, had us move to the next one because she said that the two seat ones were for single people, especially because it was lunchtime. She refused to let us sit at the two person table ‍. We got several menus and a pencil with an ordering paper. She took our drink order and we started to explore the vast menu and it all looked great! (I love when they have pictures on the menu apart from descriptions) After she brought us waters, I asked her if the special menu was considered the happy hour menu and she said it's not happy hour yet and I said yes it is 1 o'clock and she looked at my boyfriends clock on his phone and apologized and brought the happy hour menu. I included the receipt so you can see that 4/5 rolls were happy hour pricing. The sushi chefs were 2 Hispanic men and the reason why I mention this was because I feel like most of my rolls had this "chili powder" that resembled Tajin on my rolls and that's what they called "spicy" half my rolls were supposed to be spicy tuna but the tuna itself was not spicy they just had this Tajin-like powder on top and to me it wasn't spicy at all and I also felt like it made those 2/3 rolls taste bland. My bf loves deep fried rolls so he opted to try the magic mtn and he loved it and I think I enjoyed the spider roll the most. Even the spicy tuna on the crispy rice was just regular tuna with no spice. We still thought it tasted good but we will maybe give it another try with different rolls next time. They have a punch card if you spend $50+ after I think 10 you get a free speciality roll. The chefs gave us a parting remark and we thanked them upon leaving for lunch. Our server was a little more cold but kudos to her for handling the whole restaurant by herself in an efficient manner as our food came out quick and we got water refills and she checked in on us while serving 5/6 other tables all by herself.

Listen listen listen!!!…read more Now LA has some really good Thai food. Its honestly super competitive and difficult to differentiate who had the better Thai. Now also being out this far, you might think you wont be able to find really good options for such a diverse cuisine. This night me and my friend were starving and craving for Thai!! So we honestly went with this restaurant because of they were highly rated on uber eats. I got the pad see ew and the crispy wonton!!! The noodles in the pad see ew were perfectly cooked. The sauce it was drenched it was the right ratio. It was so good, i practically finished the whole thing!!! Which is alot of food!! Then the wontons were perfectly crispy! I mean the crunch into the tender chicken with the sweet sort of spicy sauce. I almost finished this all too! If your in Moorpark, shoot if your in LA!!! Make the drive grab some good grub and enjoy!!

This ramen place is so unique with special favors like TRUFFLE ramen!!…read more I got that one and as a truffle lover wow it was AMAZING!! And I came from chino hills which has alot of good ramen places. We also had chicken katsu curry and karaage which were both perfection. Parking: More than ample parking between the businesses…read morewithin the plaza. We came at around 6-7 and we easily found parking in time for a nice dinner. Ambiance The environment was very relaxing, although definitely small. Food We ordered the Mentaiko Chicken Tonkatsu as well as the Chicken Wonton Soup ramen. The soup did not come out as hot as we would have liked, it felt like it was just warmed. Although the chicken wonton soup came with a clear broth, we felt that it was oily. The actual chicken wontons had a good flavor and texture. The dish was simple but was sufficient. The mentaiko chicken tonkatsu ramen felt like it lacked depth despite being a tonkatsu broth. Although, the chicken that topped the dish was very flavorful and seemed to be marinated well. The noodles were the classic texture and the topping for me felt standard. Service Our waitress was nice, but it definitely felt a bit understaffed and we were forgotten about (I don't blame her since we were taking our time with the menu).

Was surprised to find such an authentic spot for Chinese in Oak Park!…read more I came by for a Mother's Day lunch with my family. When we arrived around 1 pm, the restaurant was maybe half full. But clearly it was popular as people were coming in constantly the entire time we were eating. Even though the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, most of the dishes on the menu were more like Sichuan dishes i.e. spicy. All of the food was super solid and portions were ginormous. My recommendation is to order 1 dish per person if you want leftovers, or order one less dish than the # of people if you want to finish most of the food. I don't handle spice very well, so we ordered a mix of spicy and non-spicy dishes. We shared the following: #1 Yunan rice noodles ($16.99) #32 scallion pancake ($8.99) #104 Chong qing fried chicken ($16.99) #107 braised pork belly with buns ($19.99) #109 boiled two items - fish and duck blood ($21.99) Given that the restaurant is called Yunnan Restaurant, we felt like we had to order one of the most popular dishes from that region, the Yunan rice noodles i.e. crossing the bridge noodles. I really enjoyed the silky smooth mixian noodles as well as the flavorful broth. The fried chicken was too spicy for me; I ate one piece and my whole mouth was on fire. Everyone else said it was quite spicy as well, so eat this in moderation unless you can really handle your spice. The 3 pepper signs next to this dish on the menu are no joke! The braised pork belly was delicious, but portions were on the smaller side for this one. Still, I enjoyed making a little bun sandwich with the pork belly and pickled veggies. The boiled fish and duck blood was also super solid. It was just a little spicy, so I was able to manage a couple pieces with the help of rice on the side. Portions were very generous for this dish. We all ate lots of fish and duck blood and still had a ton left to take home. They also have some precooked 涼菜, i.e. cold dishes, on the side you can buy for dine-in or to go. We got 3 of the meats - pork tongue, pork head, and and beef tripe, to go. Paid $16.99 for a huge box of these meats. We thought this was a steal too. Can't wait to try some at home!
