Pho 24 is located in a large shopping plaza close to BevMo!, Scandinavian Designs Furniture, etc. They offer inside seating (and outside when the weather is nicer). New modern decor. Two unisex restrooms. The service was ok. They had a few takeout orders, drink orders, and a few tables all within the last 40 minutes before they closed. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet: rice noodles with rare sliced eye round steak, well done brisket, flank, tendon, tripe in a beef stock (3.5/5). Decent flavorful broth. The tendon was one of the softest piece of tendon I have ever had. Overall, 3.5 stars. I look forward to trying their broken rice dishes next time.

Stopped by for dinner and tried the beef pho, beef stew with baguette, and shaken beef with fried rice. The food was okay overall, but nothing really stood out. The beef pho had a noticeable beef soup base flavor that overwhelmed the broth, it lacked the depth and subtlety we usually look for in a good pho. The beef stew was comforting and came with a crusty baguette, but the flavor leaned a bit too sweet for our taste. The shaken beef dish was probably the best of the three, nicely cooked with a decent portion size, and came with flavorful fried rice and fresh veggies on the side. The restaurant decor is clean and modern, with elegant light fixtures, stylish wall mirrors, and a relaxed, spacious layout. We appreciated the comfortable seating and warm lighting, it's a pleasant place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Service was friendly, and everything came out in good time. Overall, it's a decent spot, but we likely wouldn't come back just for the pho.

Solid Vietnamese food spot next to Oakridge Mall. Nothing really blew me away, but the service was good and the food tasted like how it should be. My only critique is that they gave way too much noodles in the Pho, so all the soup soaked into them after 5 minutes. Other than that, good portions, decent flavor, and a lot of parking here.

If this were in any other city, this would be perfectly acceptable Vietnamese food. But in San Jose in the Bay Area, with so much excellent Viet cuisine, this restaurant was really a let down. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing had much taste in general. The grilled pork was not fresh. It was clearly sitting around and then reheated and came out lukewarm. The lemongrass chicken had no lemongrass flavor. The Phở broth was very thin and watery, with no flavor. The shrimp spring roll came loaded with lettuce and just the tiniest piece of shrimp. The rice tasted cheap. The portion sizes are fair, the tables were clean, and the service was okay. Plenty of parking. I wouldn't return.

The pork and shrimp rolls were probably one of the best I've had. It was nicely filled with fresh ingredients and the sauce ... omg the sauce! It had the right amount of peanut sauce and hoisin sauce, sprinkled with peanuts on top. BBH was just okay. $16 for a small bowl with not much noodles.

Honestly, I thought a few years ago, this place was the best of the best. However, recently, they've seemed to fall off. Maybe they used msg before or used more rock sugar or something but something about their broth changed. It is a bit less flavorful but still just as expensive. I cannot in good faith recommend this place anymore at this price. Their service is nice and the interior is pretty but not worth this price anymore.

Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) with no noodles, veggies only

100/10 customer service! Spent the day at Oakridge (across the street) with my parents and was craving soup since it was chilly out. Went to Pho24 and we ordered 2x Dac Biet pho and 1x Bun Bo Hue. Here's why they got 5 stars - $16 for a small bowl is AMAZING price especially in San Jose, although it is "small" it was super filling! - I ordered Bun Bo Hue with no noodles instead, unfortunately the staff misunderstood me and thought i said "no noodles on the side" haha so silly but it's totally my fault for speaking too soft! They did not hesitate to offer to remake it but i refuse as i know they would've just threw the whole bowl away. Instead, after they saw i scooped the noodles into another bowl they kindly came back with a bowl of extra meat.. 10 minutes later one of the cook came to me and apologized, then gave me a togo container with broth and meat! I really appreciate that they care about the customers and the service they provide!

Recently visited this restaurant with my friends and tried the bun bo hue and Thai tea. The Bun Bo Hue was very delicious. The broth was perfect with the right amount of spice. The meat was cooked perfectly as well and they also gave a generous amount of meat. I usually don't finish my meal, but I ate all the noodles, meat, and even drank a lot of the soup since it felt so warm and flavorful. I also got the Thai Tea and it was the right amount of sweet and creamy. The perfect complement to the meal. The service was great and the food came out very fast as well. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for some authentic Vietnamese food!

One of the best shaking beef I've had in a long time. The beef was tender and flavorful, the tomato rice was delicious. They avocado smoothie was so thick and creamy. The restaurant was so clean and modern The service was great and fast! Definitely going back

Usually come here for pho on cold days. When my husband and toddler come it's right before a rush so we're seated right away. Food comes out quick too. The last time we went I found a single hair in the spring rolls. I thought it was mine but realized it was in the rice paper folds. Other than that I get the brisket pho which it pretty flavorful.

I stopped by here for a late lunch to go. I ordered the Pho Ga and Goi Cuon. I was able to get my food fairly quick on my to go order. The Pho Ga was hearty and flavorful! Unfortunately the Goi Cuon was missing the pork as it was only made with shrimp. At that point, I did not want to go back

I stopped by after a hair appointment and ordered the crispy chicken ranch salad to go. This salad was really good, though I did feel like they could have put more cheese and bacon on it (probably true of most things). The lettuce was crisp, the chicken was crispy, and everything was very fresh. I also got a side of Texas toast, which was delicious. I did notice that this place is hopping on a weeknight, and a lot of the customers seem to be repeat people who know the staff. The woman who took my order was very friendly and helpful about getting my food to me. I think I'd come back and have a salad like the one I had - really good. I also noticed they have a variety of desserts, including some delicious-looking brownies, and some special off-menu items like a baked potato with barbecue on it.

Service was completely overwhelmed on Sunday (Father's Day) and it took a long time to order and then a very long time to get our food. They ran out of fries (wha?) and the cashier said we could get sweet potato fries instead, but didn't mention the upcharge until I asked. Gee, thanks. I'll jump right to the food though. I love pastrami and I love corned beef. I had checked out the photos here on Yelp before we went, and it looked like it had potential. I don't know what went wrong on our visit. I got the Fresser, which has both of those meats. My sandwich did indeed have two meats on it, but both were incredibly bland. One meat - I think maybe the corned beef? - was sliced paper thin (which can be fine - my beloved Manny's Deli in Chicago does it thin) - but this was for some reason then griddled? It was SO DRY - kiddo remarked it was crispier than the bacon we had at breakfast. No flavor to it at all either. The other meat was a little thicker, and so it was juicer, but if it was the pastrami, I apparently didn't get any slices which had the pastrami seasoning on it. The portions were also skimpy. The kitchen was completely slammed and tables sat with empty plates on them for most of our meal (which was really annoying as folks were moving them from table to table to try to clear spots for their groups). All in all, I should've just waited for a lunch at Gunther's to fill that pastrami need!

The first thing you notice is the bread. The garlic bread takes their already excellent baguettes to another level: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with buttery garlic flavor. The grilled chicken was tender and juicy, while the fish patty offered a unique savory flavor and texture that was equally satisfying. Every sandwich was generously filled with fresh cucumber, cilantro, and crunchy pickled vegetables. I brought them home and enjoyed them with a fresh cup of coffee, and they still tasted fantastic.
