Nothing fancy here but some amazing Pho. This is one of my favorite Pho restaurants. The broth is very flavorful and is loaded with meat. Restaurant is not fancy and not your typical type of table service but is efficient and does not take away from the experience. The owner took our service on this visit and he was so sweet and kind. Love that they bring a plate full of goodies ( fresh basil, sprouts, and fresh slices of limes) which elevates this dish to the next level. For me this is true comfort food. Pho is served quickly and restaurant while not fancy is very clean. One of my favorite restaurants in Philly.

Went to a grocery store and tried out this pho spot next door called Pho 75. I got a regular bowl of their #4 which included eye of round steak, well done brisket, well done flank, soft tendon, and beef tripe. Their regular bowl itself is already really big and they give you a ton of meat here. I thought the broth was just ok though. It thought it was tooo light. I had to add more hoisin sauce to make it more to my liking. They also take cash only here and have an ATM located inside as well

Solid choice for Pho. The parking was exceptionally difficult and the lot is tight/packed. This is a cash only spot with an authentic menu. I started with the iced Vietnamese coffee. And ordered a large bowl of soup with sliced beef. The portions and price point were great. It was a warming dish. I do wish the broth had a bit more complexity in comparison to other Pho I have had around the city. Still a great meal.

Cash only!! A big warm bowl of pho was perfect for a cold winter day. The broth is definitely quite tasty but I will say it is on the saltier side so just be aware for friends who may have a low sodium diet. There was surprisingly a lot of meat and the plates of herbs and bean sprouts they brought out was also more than enough for my friends and I. The food comes very quick after you place your order which is very appreciated. The place fills up quick but also people eat pretty quickly and are leaving soon too so the wait shouldn't be too long.

***CASH ONLY***CASH ONLY*** First time at Pho 75 and I came in with high expectations, especially knowing it was one of Bourdain's favorite spots. The broth had great flavor, but my pho came out warm, not hot, which was disappointing. Service had more of a quick get in and get out vibe, and there was a line out the door when we left, so clearly it's a popular spot. Still great pho and worth the hype, just wish it had been hotter.

Very busy on the weekends, but still very fast service. Cash only! Comes with all the usual add-ins. Cooked-ness of the noodles isn't my favorite and the soup seemed to cool a little too quickly. I prefer Little Saigon Cafe in chinatown more

This place really does it well! Pho 75 has my favorite broth to date out of any pho place in the city. I haven't been to a ton, but this spot is great. The brisket and eye round steak is good, and they give you a generous portion as well. As always, the sauces and sides to put in your pho are fresh and tasty. Our waiter was with us within 5 minutes, and as soon as we ordered we received our drinks & food in less than 10 minutes. Talk about fast! They were showing the news and the eagles game in there so that was cool, but overall there's a good vibe in there. It's communal style seating which isn't my favorite, but everyone is enjoying their food so it's actually fun

A very straight forward pho place with only pho on the menu. The service was fast. We sat down, placed an order, and the food was out within 5 minutes. The pho was good and the broth was refreshing. The downside of this place is definitely the parking and that it is cash only (they have an atm machine). Cash makes it so the price isn't as high as its competitors though, so it has its pro and con. The parking though was terrible, and it definitely makes me hesitant on coming back.

Service was super quick and the vibe of the place feels really authentic. I ordered the #6 pho (eye round steak, well-done flank, and soft tendon) and it hit the spot, super flavorful, generous with the meat, and they hooked it up with plenty of bean sprouts, which I appreciated. Honestly, the bowl was loaded and tasted amazing. I'm from NY and would definitely come back to Philly just for this spot. Highly recommend if you're craving legit pho!

Of course I have heard about this place for years. It is supposed to be some of the best Pho in the city. My friend and I had just stood out in frigid temperatures to protest ICE so we needed warm, hearty broth and noodles! This place did the job beautifully. We filled up on pho... mine with chicken and my friend with noodles and no meat. I was unaware they didn't serve tofu (my friend is a vegetarian) so keep that in mind. The broth was delicious, the chicken tender and the Vietnamese coffee was so good! This place has a good reputation for a reason. Efficient, kind service and delicious food! Go get you some!

All pho, all the time. At least until 8 p.m. when they close. If a restaurant makes its mark with a signature dish, it's bound to be good. And Pho 75 is! The broth was rich and flavorful; didn't need to jazz it up with lime or jalapeno. Plenty of brisket, plenty of chicken in our respective soups. Depending on when you show up, parking could be an accident-waiting-to-happen in the tight lot. 2:30 -- past lunch, before dinner -- it was crazy. An hour later, plenty of spots. Pho 75 is one of several Vietnamese restaurants in the strip mall. Order at the table, pay at the counter. To reiterate what others said, cash only.

There are few words to describe how amazing this Pho was at Pho 75. After Anthony Bourdain raved about this place my friends and I had to go try it. it didn't disappoint. A simple menu, yet the flavor was just perfect. It was also nice how there was lots of seating in the restaurant, and the servers were nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for the (literally) perfect bowl of pho in the Philly area.

Absolutely amazing!! Holy crap was this good. Solid price as well! $12 for a regular size bowl. Took the B1 train here and it's about a 10 minute walk from the train stop. Safe walk. A bit shady walking form the train but there are other people and a new fancy apartment complex on the walk there. Pho was favor ful. Meat was tasty. Service was fast. 10/10 would recommend. RIP Anthony Bourdain

Ask the Community - Pho 75

    Is this cash only?

Pho 75 only accepts cash payment.

    When did this restaurant open?

not 100% sure about this location, but I know that it was here at least 16 years ago. In addition, their other family location in Maryland I can vouch has been open since the 90s at least.

    How are the desserts?

The desserts are not as outstanding as the pho is. I would suggest walking over to Mr. Wish which is in the same strip mall.

Do they have beef bone broth?

I got dinner here recently after not coming for a while and was reminded just how good it is. Really delicious, authentic, and affordable Northern Chinese food - my mom is from that region and always asks to come here whenever she visits. The noodle portions are huge and expertly hand-crafted and cooked for the perfect bouncy chewy texture. The dumplings are also lowkey the best in Chinatown, with a thicker chewy skin characteristic of Northern-style dumplings, a juicy filling bursting with flavor, and a perfect sweet soy sauce dip on the side. Service is quick and friendly, with the servers able to accommodate both Chinese and English speakers and happy to give recommendations. The menu is mostly the same, so you know what you're getting. I actually came here for the University City Dine With Us deal, and honestly, 3 courses for $20 is a great deal, especially because they still give you those VERY generous Sang Kee portions. You definitely won't leave hungry. The University City location is newer and has a lot more seating, unless you're comparing it to the second floor of the Chinatown location. It's also nicely decorated and feels a little more polished and modern while still keeping that casual noodle house feel. The staff here were fine, and the food came out really quickly. Everything was good, but I couldn't help feeling like the flavors were a little more toned down and "white person friendly" compared to the Chinatown location. It just didn't have quite the same depth or punch that I remember from the OG. That said, it could totally be because I was ordering from the deal menu or maybe I just caught them on an off day, so I'm not going to hold that too strongly against them. One thing I really appreciated was the staff being so kind when my friend got stuck in the thunderstorm. I was waiting for her while it was absolutely POURING outside, and one of the ladies let me stay inside without making me feel like I needed to leave or hurry up. That was genuinely appreciated. Overall, a very solid location. If Chinatown feels too far, I'd absolutely come here instead. The food is still good, the portions are generous, the space is nicer and newer, and the prices are reasonable. I just think the OG still has that extra something.

I do recommend making a reservation as they can be pretty slammed on Fridays/weekends. The Srirachi wings had a nice crunch to them while still keeping the chicken juicy inside. It would've been nice to have an even amount of wings to drumsticks though, as I like flats more, but thats just a personal preference. The crabmeat fried rice was amazing, a really good portion of chunks of crabmeat mixed in so each spoonful had some. The duck curry was a "Grandma's special" so a much bigger portion and cost - but reasonable. The duck wasnt dry and had a good flavor throughout, not relying on the curry to give taste. The curry also had a hint of sweetness to it which complements the greasiness of the duck. The papaya salad felt very refreshing - we got it at level one as to not overpower our taste buds with all the other food. I did get some chili pepper on the side to add in later. My one recommendation is having Thai peppers as an option instead of dried chili flakes. I much prefer the taste of fresh Thai pepper to add the extra heat. The mango sticky rice is always a favorite. The mango is soft and ripe, the right amount of sweetness. They also mix pandan in with the sticky rice for a more impactful umami (Im also a big advocate for pandan in desserts).
