This is a good restaurant to go to for many reasons. The most important reason is the quality of the food. I think the food at this restaurant is very good. The second most important thing is the quality of the service. The restaurant is set up in a way that allows the servers to see everything and be everywhere. They gave me an ice cold water and were present on the floor to refill my water so there was no chance in becoming thirsty. They also sell a delicious iced tea for $.50 and a hot tea for $1. I think this is very nice of them because they could easily charge more money for the tea and it would be reasonable. It encourages you to get the tea and enhance your experience with a refreshing tea. This is a restaurant that I would eat at very frequently if I lived next to this restaurant. read more

The watery but savory soup turned thicker and sweeter with the additions and we were slurping it up in no time. Even though I didn't enjoy it this particular time, there is a lot of long table seating available so the space can accommodate small to larger groups of people easily. Def one of my favorite pho places. The one in Arlington, VA and in Philly are part of the same chain and they are both equally good. The pho here is really really really good. The broth is rich and packed with flavor. They are a lot more generous with their meat than other pho places I've been to. The prices here are cheaper than other places as well. Their menu is very simple....only pho. No spring rolls or bahn mi or vermicelli bowls. Speaks to the quality of the pho. Service here is pretty quick although not the friendliest. I came with 4 friends on a rainy Friday night without a reservation. We were seated immediately at one end of a large table. The menu is very simple- you get Pho and can pick the meats. I don't think they have any vegetarian options, as even the plain noodles are served in a meat-based broth. We each ordered our Pho and some of us got drinks. The lemon soda was super yummy, but we didn't love the pickled soda. It is pretty no frills, but the service is quick. There was some confusion, but fortunately one our party members is Vietnamese and could help out the server. The only note is there was a man acting a little wild outside the restaurant, and a server beckoned him to come in. I think he thought he was a delivery driver? The server asked us if we were ready and recommended a couple different pho based on what we were looking at, and we both chose to go with the pho and well done flank and we're not disappointed. I ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee and it came out in a drip pot, which I have not seen in a very long time and was , very excited to try. The pho was quickly brought to our table in a matter of maybe 2 to 3 minutes after placing the order which was amazing. The food was fresh. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the broth had so much flavor. I cannot recommend this place enough times five stars doesn't do it justice. My partner ordered the salted lemonade, and it was fresh lemons, and the salt and sugar, which was an understatement of how delicious it actually was.
