I was attracted to this pho shop place because of how rich and delicious-looking the Thai Iced Tea looked, and it met all expectations! In addition, I ordered their egg rolls, spring rolls with pork patties, garlic noodles with filet mignon, and pho. My favorite dish here was the spring rolls--I loved the texture of the meat in there. Their pho and egg rolls were okay--nothing too special but hits the mark. Service was quick and efficient! The decor here is very cute. It feels like I'm in Vietnam! I'd definitely come back for their Thai Iced Tea.

3/10/2026 Oxtail Pho Generous portions of oxtail. It was fall off the bone delicious! Oxtail and beef pho broth were both separately served. The pho broth was lacking in salt, however it was a clean flavor, not oily too. But something was amiss. We added the thai basil, the lemon and jalapeño slices and cilantro, yet it lacked in that hearty beef flavor. Like they watered it down a bit. The pho noodles were nicely cooked. The pho bowls were big too and can be shared! Chả Giò Eggrolls were crispy and delicious. Served with sides of vermicelli, lettuce, cilantro, mint, pickles and sauce. Customer Service Good service, friendly, kind. The servers were attentive and nice. Ambiance / Seats Lots of tables and seats inspite of the restaurant being on the smaller side, but the tables weren't stuck together, which I appreciate. The server came by and wiped down all the tables and it was cleaned often, which I appreciate. Only one bathroom available. Parking There is a parking lot behind the restaurant! Free medium-sized parking lot. If I was in the area, I would eat here again, but I would not go out of my way to eat here.

Came back for quick dinner and restaurant is really clean and comfortable to eat in. They have space for big groups. The Stafford is always welcoming fast and really helpful. Every time we come we try something new and honestly everything taste really good never disappoints., the price is reasonable and the amount of food is great. Will definitely leave in a food coma. I will always recommend this place if you're ever in town and looking for it good place to relax and enjoy some great food.

Headed to Pho Anvi before the movie and decided to switch things up--ordered the #15 instead of my usual #27. While it trades the smoky, garlicky profile I'm used to, it delivers a rich, beef-forward flavor with an incredibly clean, comforting taste. The broth was deep and satisfying without being heavy, letting the beef shine through. It was a refreshing change that still hit all the right notes. Another solid 5-star experience--Pho Anvi never disappoints.

I am genuinely surprised how good the pho is here. I have had northern style pho from OC and SJ, and this place had the best fresh noodles I've ever had. The noodles had the perfect soft texture and soaked up so much flavor from the broth. The broth itself was so delicious with many complex flavors, yet still was light and fresh. I had ordered the Pho Anvi, and the meat was tender and tasty. I wish there was a little more meat though for the price. I had also ordered the shrimp spring rolls which were also very good. All the ingredients were super fresh. The service was amazing. I was greeted immediately upon entering and sat right away. The food came out fast and the servers refilled waters constantly. I couldn't ask for anything more from the servers! I will definitely be returning if I am in the area again.

Came back here again in 2026 after trying them out when they first opened. If you've had a lot of pho you'll instantly taste the terrible pho seasoning cube and powder they still use. They definitely do not broiled the broth in bones whatsoever. Don't be fooled by the large bowls. This place is the meaning of quantity over quality. I ordered a rare steak with tendon and there was a thin hair in my tendon and all they did was tell me that that happens from preparing the tendon. But the tendon is on the inside of the cow so why would there be hair inside. Do yourself a favor and drive a little bit to Cerritos or to pho 45 in la Mirada and you'll taste the difference instantly.

My friend and I decided to come back to Pho Anvi for lunch today and needless to say, we had an amazing experience!! The food and service were great even though they were pretty busy... There is plenty of parking in the back too.. We will be back for sure in the near future!!

First time here and we were greeted immediately. We got seated super quick. We did get our orders taken quick as well. Pho came out quick for my boyfriend but my garlic noodles did take a bit longer. There's background music but not crazy loud which makes it perfect because you can actually have a conversation with whoever you're with. I would still come back!

I think the rating here is quite inflated since they offer a free drink for 5 star Yelp reviews. I wish I had read more carefully beforehand, but I was driving and just did a quick Yelp search for nearby pho spots with high ratings, that's how I ended up here. I ordered the seafood pho ($15.50) and was disappointed by how stingy the portion was. It came with only two tiny shrimp and just felt overpriced for what they offered. The broth was fine, pretty standard taste but nothing that stood out. Overall, not a terrible experience, but definitely not worth the price. I wouldn't come back.

I was craving some oxtail pho with my cute little squad. Mama Ve had the filet mignon pho, while my curly fries enjoyed the seafood pho packed with fish balls, shrimp, and veggies. For appetizers, we ordered fried calamari, which was delicious. The bowls were huge--bigger than my head and my mom's head put together, haha! We really enjoyed it, and it perfectly satisfied our cravings. I couldn't finish my bowl, so I had to take some home. I loved the interior and ambiance; it's peaceful, and the art wall is awesome. We received great service from a wonderful waiter named Michael and the rest of the staff. This place is conveniently located near the AMC theater and across from the DPSS office.

Restaurant is clean upon walking in, it is the end of the night when we walked in but they still welcomed us. We were not sure but they were very kind. Server was kind and took our order quickly. They have a promo when you order pho for dine in you can get unlimited thin noodles which is a great bonus, and very reasonably priced. The Thai tea was sweet and so delicious! I would definitely be reordering it! The coffee is not overly sweet and well balanced. The pho broth is very delicious with a large portion of protein! My bf and I will definitely be coming back as we frequent amc on a regular basis.

Food is great. I order food here at least once a week. However anytime I also order Shaken Beef, the food is placed in a Styrofoam box and when it's delivered to me, the sauce spills all over my other foods and utensil. Needs better packaging. Maybe put the shaken beef in a plastic spill proof container separate from the rice read more

*** This family-owned (per their website - the brothers & sisters are from North Vietnam) pho place is so welcome in the Norwalk/Downey area! *** ENVIRONMENT It's located in a plaza at Norwalk's Civic Center. Across from the Norwalk Courthouse and next to the AMC/IMAX theatre. So it's in a popular area. SERVICE The young lady who was assisting patrons on the night of 1/23/21 was the sweetest, hardest worker I've seen in a long while. She couldn't fake a smile through her mask if she tried. I want her on my team! Any team! MY FAVORITE PART... I mean besides the pho... they have this art piece on their wall as soon as you walk in it's currently straight ahead. It's predominantly red and depicts several individuals in their little canoes in the water. It resembles a Zao Wou-Ki painting. It's so peaceful and harmonious to me. I simply love it. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... The parking. Haha. THE GRUB My marked up Grubhub order from 1/23/21: Pho Ap Chao $16.00 Goi Cuon Tom $7.50 Sinh To Khoai Mon $5.00 Subtotal $28.50 Tax $2.92 Total $31.42 Pho Ap Chao is "sliced filet mignon, garlic, sweet cabbage, & tomato, wok-seared & served with fresh noodles." This is my jam! Goi Cuon Tom is "shrimp & pork spring rolls." These were really good and put together so well. It's not a complete meal without dessert and this time I tried something totally different... Sinh To Khoai Mon is a taro smoothie. I love how it wasn't overly sweet. I didn't order whipped cream, but they put it in there anyway. Lol. I only ordered from Grubhub out of convenience as I was simultaneously watching the prelims on UFC night. Fight nights aren't cheap! Lol. LITTLE YELPERS CLUB + There are two options for kids under 12 (I found it on the downloadable menu)... they come with a small drink. Kids can choose either pho with rare steak/well-done brisket or meatball - OR - charbroiled meat (either pork, beef or chicken) w/ rice (vermicelli). PARKING For COVID-19 takeout only, the parking was minimal in the little lot around the back side. The night I went, the governor hadn't yet lifted the outdoor dining ban and it was raining. There is public parking garage across the street behind the courthouse with a bridge to safely cross Civic Center Dr. TIPS + Yelp check-in offer as of 2/1/21 = 1 free Thai Iced Tea "for dine-in only with any entree order" + vegetarian options + They give out fortune cookies. I came in with my family and it was a lil busy just because there weren't as many servers. Our server name was Tu and he was very nice and down to earth gentleman. Every time when we drop off our puppy to dog sitter's house, we always stop by this spot. Since this place is not close to our house. I always get pho with raw beef briskets and every time my boyfriend will try different things on their menu. We always get iced Vietnamese coffee. It's very strong, sweet and good! The service usually good just only sometimes when they are busy might be a bit slow and overwhelming which understandable. Overall definitely recommended. read more

They just have different portions of meat, but you can't go wrong with any of them. Service is quick. The servers dont really check up on you as often but you can easily just flag them down if you need them. The restauant is usually always full, but because people eat fast and service is fast, it is not a long wait time. Portion size is always consistent and large if you get the big bowl. Bathrooms are clean and accessible. Parking lot is small though, so it may be more convenient to park on the lot next to the Filipino market next door and just walk if you can't find any parking.

I really like that their menu has a lot of large photos of the dishes, so you know what you're getting! Once we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly despite being busy. For appetizers, we ordered the Crunchy Pork "Bao" since it sounded unique. Inside the bao is pork shoulder, mushroom, Vietnamese sausage, and quail egg. The outside has a thin, perfectly crispy layer that gives a nice little crunch when you bite into it. Really enjoyed these and would recommend! We also got the Crusted Parmesan Cauliflower. Not sure what's in the sauce, but it's sweet, tangy, and delicious! It's also topped with fried onion, cilantro, cucumber, and parmesan cheese. Also a winner! KPB Mgmt: Pls contemplate packing your crunchy items, like egg rolls for example, into a styrofoam or cardboard container with holes...so the steam doesn't turn the once crisp items into a limpid mess. I can attest from personal dining experience that the Asian establishments who package their items like this consistently deliver crunchy items. The orange chicken LOOKED fabulous, gorgeous lobster orange hue commingled with Szechuan red peppers, but in execution it lacked the crisp exterior and flavorful punch you're accustomed from well made orange chicken.
