Their involvement and concern did not go unnoticed and reflected a commitment to customer service. We've visited Cafe Chinois over the years and have noticed changes since the passing of the previous owner and the family's transition into running the restaurant. The menu has evolved, and the overall atmosphere feels a little different than it once did. During our visit, there was some trash on the floor that remained for a while, suggesting that attention to detail may not be quite where it used to be. Even so, the excellent service from John, Jack, and David, along with the quality of my entrée, showed that the restaurant still has a strong foundation. I also want to give Alexis credit because she handled the situation with respect and kindness the entire time, rushed to help clean up, treated the customer well, and actually tried to help her out. Alexis handled the situation way better than management did. Despite it all, the food was delicious!

I absolutely love pho basil! I am half Vietnamese and moved to the states when I was young so when I tried your food, it reminded me so much of home. The banh mi is exactly like the one they would sell on the streets, your boba tea is perfect with each drink tasting like a relaxing day at the pool or out in the sun. The pho is so good and the chicken and beef are cooked exactly like they are in Vietnam. I definitely recommend this restaurant and it is my go-to whenever I want some Vietnamese food or boba tea any time. read more

Someone recommended this Vietnamese beef noodle spot to us, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. The spring rolls were okay, but the sauce lacked flavor. We also ordered egg rolls, which were very skinny and honestly not worth the $5 price.
