Ordered take out on my lunch break wanting to expand my current pho portfolio, as I am quite the fan of this Vietnamese cuisine. I called in and placed and order for the Rare Steak Pho and a small Cajun fries. I figured since they offered something like Cajun fries, they must have a special twist with it to make it stand out amongst the rest of the food. That unfortunately was not the case, they appear to be Orieda fries with just a small sprinkling of flavor on them, and for the ride back home had become a little soggy. The rare steak pho is pretty delicious however, a little disappointing on some aspects too. One: the price of 16.95 for a medium sized pho, is outrageous, seeings most places I have been to across the Mountain west are 10-11.95 for a medium. On top of the 5.50 Cajun fries, the pricing here could definitely be adjusted. The pho came with all the sides, however they use red onion for their pho which gives it a strange little punch rather than white onion. Some bites had hamburger is feels due to the choice of onion. I am also a very spicy individual and love getting the jalapeños, unfortunately for my batch, I got two slices which was a bit of a disappointment as well. However the steak and broth themselves are quite delicious with a dash of hoisin and a couple scoops of chili paste. Not the best pho I've had, but for the area if you're looking for something that isn't as 'highfalutin' for a quick easy bite, this is the place for you. read more

Never had Pho before. Now I need to seek it out. The flavor of the broth was killer. Reminded me of a fine wine you sip for hours trying to identify the flavor. The ingredients tender, the meal filling. Two our meals had shrimp that seemed like lobster and the beef was super tender. The waitresses were very friendly, smiling as they ran from table to table. Outstanding! Some of the best tasting Pho broth I've had. Beautifully seasoned, with a strong star anise finish. The portions were generous, with the Pho, and rice noodle dishes. They do not skimp on the shrimp with either Pho, or rice noodle dish. Definitely a place to come back to! read more

Terrific!! Everything we ordered tasted fresh and delicious. The servers were all friendly and attentive. The space was bright and inviting.

I went with my two kids for an early dinner and sat at a high top. The space is open and nicely decorated. They have a great happy hour and I got a $4 glass of wine and most of the appetizers were 30% off. We got the crispy egg rolls, grilled beef spring rolls, fried dumplings and fried tofu. They were all delicious but the fried tofu was a stand out. We also got a kids rice and grilled meat plate and the veggie egg roll vermicelli bowl. It was a ton of food and reasonably priced at HH. Saturday night, we were able to sit down right away. The atmosphere is fun with the bar in the center of the room and Cheerful decor. My husband said the Pho with filet was the best meat he's ever had in pho. My vegetable pho was packed with carrots, celery, bok choy, and these cute, yummy mushrooms (what are they called?)! Best pho in Avon/Vail. We went to both pho restaurants in town (the other being Pho 20); and Pho Bay is a far better meal. Pho Bay is delicious and clean with nice distanced outdoor seating. I go here practically once a week. I LOVE it here. I usually order fried tofu and fried dumpling appetizer. Both are so good and so are their pork spring rolls. I always get their chicken pho, it's amazing. I love adding basil, lime, jalapeños, and bean sprouts for all the good flavors. If I don't finish what I eat, I bring it home and the pho reheats well. For the first time, last night I got the Vietnamese coffee. I've had Vietnamese coffee before at a small pho place, but it wasn't nearly as good as Pho Bay's coffee. I was blown away. I'm a big iced coffee lover so I got a cup of ice to go with my coffee and it was seriously the best iced coffee I've had in my life. I've tried many coffees before, but the Vietnamese Coffee here has blown me away. So good! I will always recommend this place to friends and family. I love it here! read more

We went out for a nice family meal. However, Pho Bay was a BAD CHOICE. We are loyal customers at Pho 20 in Avon, and this place did not even come close. It was EXPENSIVE, service was slow and spotty The bar tender was a very rude wanna be who did not fit in with the otherwise okay atmosphere. Food was lukewarm and not fresh like Pho 20. Ever since this location opened I was eager to try their pho since Pho 20 was the only other option. Let me just say their food and quality is exceptional! You can always judge a good bowl of pho by the broth and theirs it's hands down the best in the valley! I'm personally obsessed with their pork noodle bowl and extra side of sweet fish sauce. With a little bit more training on the customer service aspect this place could be spectacular! They need to figure out timing, such as: bring drinks right away followed by the appetizers, allow for appetizers to be about done and then bring out the pho or main course.
