I would recommend to come here for their special dishes such as Bun Cha Ha Noi, Bún Đậu mắm tôm, bún riêu, bánh khot, and bánh cuốn. Bún Chả and Bún Đậu are traditional northern Vietnamese dishes which usually come with grilled meats, vermicelli, vegetables and served with fish sauce. In Bun Cha, use lettuce to wrap these ingredients together whereas Bun Dau typically comes with wraps. I tried the Bun Cha and it was great. The mints at Cafe Ti Bo were super fresh. Bun rieu and bánh cuốn are more readily consumed dishes, no wrap or additional work needed. Bánh khot is like mini "bánh xèo" so if you like bánh xèo then this dish is a good alternative. The prices of these dishes are quite fair, $13-14, with good portion size. The kumquat and coconut juice was good but it did have a distinctive smell of pickled kumquat. The "che ba màu" which was their only dessert was excellent. With so many dishes left to try, Cafe Ti Bo is on my return list.

Everything was just poor quality, the butt end of iceberg lettuce and 2 tiny pieces of beef, no carrots, cucumber, sprouts, nothing, it just screams CHEAP. The two literal children running the register just seal the deal, here, they look so sad and bored. Haphazard doesn't begin to describe this place, I sincerely don't know how it's still open but I urge you to reconsider coming here.

It's inviting and so unique and fun! I wore some bright colors for a good contrast in pictures. When you walk in they have a huge menu screen on the wall plus they will give you a laminated menu to hold and look at. They also have pictures of some of the dishes next to the register. As a filet mignon lover I naturally went for the "pho-let". I also ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. I was given a number and found a seat along the wall featuring all the planets. Everywhere you look is something fun and quirky. Even the drink dispenser is only black and white! It was cool to see the well known drink logos in b&w. I also really loved the bowl of pho and drink characters holding hands throughout the place. After a short time the egg rolls arrived at the table with a glistening cheesy sauce on the side. The crunch was amazing and the meat inside was quality! Nicely chopped with a great chew. The sauce had the peppers in it and had a kick of spice as well. Awesome snack! Then the pho arrived and it was glorious! A generous serving of filet lay across the top and the server asks you how's you like it cooked and then pours the broth over top accordingly. I couldn't stop watching as the steaming broth filled the bowl. Perfect for a gloomy day. The first bite was everything I expected and more! Tender filet, perfect noodles, all the accouterments and that broth that was seasoned to perfection. Multiple times my table was checked on and the server even brought out extra goodies like sprouts, basil and limes. I was so content. I couldn't finish the ginormous serving so I grabbed a to go bowl conveniently located near the drink dispenser. I will definitely be back and I will be telling and bringing everyone I know. It was a great way to make date night feel less guilty by bringing the kids chips and salsa when we get back, haha. I really liked this place until I read the review about MSG and suddenly realized why the outsides of my lips burned every time I ate their Pho. I hope they change the MSG thing (and advertise the change). This place is convenient and delicious otherwise. read more

The beef steaks in the pho lost the sweetness of meat. The fatty brisket (or cooked meat - sorry I couldn't tell) is cut a little too thick. Having eaten pho my whole life, I feel like the broth and meat are not as good as Asian district. Pho 3Nine is still a good option for Bethany or nearby area. I don't think it's as good as some restaurants in Asian district thus the location makes sense. If it was in Asian district, I don't know if it will be able to compete.

The place isn't dirty but it isn't kept clean either. I went to add the plum sauce to my pho and the bottle wound up having old, sticky sauce all down the side. It was hidden so I didn't know until my fingers were in it. I'd suggest skipping over to Banana Thai, you won't regret it.
