    Seafood Pho
    David W.

I'm a big fan of pho and Pho Ben does it right. The portions are hearty and the food authentic. I personally love the atmosphere. It's simple yet the low lighting relays a relaxed feeling. I got the Seafood Pho and it had more than enough shrimp, crab and fish balls. And to quote the late great Robin Williams "I didn't know they had balls". Peace. I'm out.

Ate here with my mom because they advertise that they have pho, a Vietnamese noodle soup. The restaurant is understaffed. There were only two people in the entire restaurant, the chef and the other person who does everything. Service was VERY slow. We waited over 30 minutes for our foods and decided we would leave in ten minutes if the foods didn't show up, but it came five minutes after that. The pho is very tasteless. I would consider trying it again for something else, but not pho. Also, it is best to call ahead and do take out. The restaurant is designed as a self-service (seat yourself, and get your own drinks), and the wait is horrible if you eat here. The restaurant has a giant banner hanging outside advertising it as "Pho Ben," but was told by the staff that the restaurant is actually called Snow Peas Restaurant... very confusing.

    Beef Lo Mein... it's awesome!

The Lo Mein is fantastic! Pho is so tasty, and has a lot of flavor!! The Szechuan beef was good, but is pretty much beef and broccoli with chili pepper sauce. And that's OK, it was may fault for googling Szechuan Beef and expecting it to look like that. Comes with brown, white or fried rice ...pic shows fried rice but it didn't seem to really be fried. Overall very good, we like the food and go every month or so.

    Thai tea mmmmm

I arrived at 5:20 pm and there were 2 other tables in the restaurant, the seating is plentiful. They could easily accommodate a party of 20 and still have additional seats. As soon as you enter there is a counter and you can order first and then sit or wait for table side ordering. There are an assortment of Pepsi products at the fountain and iced tea, but I opted for the Thai tea and was not disappointed, see photo. I started with the summer roll which was today's special. It was ok. Not a huge fan of the hot tempura shrimp inside my spring roll. But, there was nothing wrong with it, just now how I prefer to have my rolls made. (See photo) As a visitor from Atlanta I am no stranger to Pho, so I will give you a comparison to the pho I am accustomed. The pho side plate had alfalfa sprouts, lime, hot peppers and basil. The pho I chose was the beef combination, which has meatball, tendon and steak. The meatballs were of a firm consistency and bland in flavor. The steak was tender and had more flavor than the meatballs. The tendons were not very plentiful but were quite tasty. The pho broth has a great flavor but the real winner of the dish are the noodles, they are undoubtedly homemade. As I have written this review they have sold multiple to-go orders so I hope they will still be in business when I come back in January. Now to add some sriracha!

Staff were friendly, but…read morethe ordering system wasn't clearly explained--you order first at the counter and then go back to pay after eating, which felt a bit slow, especially with lots of takeout orders. I ordered the bún riêu (crab noodle soup). Portion size was good with plenty of toppings, but the broth was bland and lacked depth. The grilled pork bánh mì was flavorful but could've used more meat. Pork egg rolls were decent. Overall, glad I tried it, but I wasn't very impressed. Might've ordered the wrong dish.

I would recommend to come here for their special dishes such as Bun Cha Ha Noi, Bún Đậu mắm tôm, bún riêu, bánh khot, and bánh cuốn. Bún Chả and Bún Đậu are traditional northern Vietnamese dishes which usually come with grilled meats, vermicelli, vegetables and served with fish sauce. In Bun Cha, use lettuce to wrap these ingredients together whereas Bun Dau typically comes with wraps. I tried the Bun Cha and it was great. The mints at Cafe Ti Bo were super fresh. Bun rieu and bánh cuốn are more readily consumed dishes, no wrap or additional work needed. Bánh khot is like mini "bánh xèo" so if you like bánh xèo then this dish is a good alternative. The prices of these dishes are quite fair, $13-14, with good portion size. The kumquat and coconut juice was good but it did have a distinctive smell of pickled kumquat. The "che ba màu" which was their only dessert was excellent. With so many dishes left to try, Cafe Ti Bo is on my return list.

It's inviting and so unique and fun! I wore some bright colors for a good contrast in pictures. When you walk in they have a huge menu screen on the wall plus they will give you a laminated menu to hold and look at. They also have pictures of some of the dishes next to the register. As a filet mignon lover I naturally went for the "pho-let". I also ordered the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. I was given a number and found a seat along the wall featuring all the planets. Everywhere you look is something fun and quirky. Even the drink dispenser is only black and white! It was cool to see the well known drink logos in b&w. I also really loved the bowl of pho and drink characters holding hands throughout the place. After a short time the egg rolls arrived at the table with a glistening cheesy sauce on the side. The crunch was amazing and the meat inside was quality! Nicely chopped with a great chew. The sauce had the peppers in it and had a kick of spice as well. Awesome snack! Then the pho arrived and it was glorious! A generous serving of filet lay across the top and the server asks you how's you like it cooked and then pours the broth over top accordingly. I couldn't stop watching as the steaming broth filled the bowl. Perfect for a gloomy day. The first bite was everything I expected and more! Tender filet, perfect noodles, all the accouterments and that broth that was seasoned to perfection. Multiple times my table was checked on and the server even brought out extra goodies like sprouts, basil and limes. I was so content. I couldn't finish the ginormous serving so I grabbed a to go bowl conveniently located near the drink dispenser. I will definitely be back and I will be telling and bringing everyone I know. They had signs out for BOGO deals and specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Thank you Twenty Pho Hour for exceeding my expectations! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Tons of noodles, beef, and veggies. Personally I love when there's a lot of green onions, onions, basil, and bean sprouts. Notes: I was staying in downtown area and got to the restaurant easily on a Lime e-scooter. Spacious and clean restaurant with tons of tables for small and large groups. Firstly, as stated in the previous line, this establishment is cash only. We didn't know that going in so it caused quite the hiccup when trying to pay. The employees were very nice and patient about it but it was still kind of embarrassing. There's an ATM available inside as well. Now onto the dining experience. PLH was very busy when we arrived. That did not stop them from seating us right away at a clean and stocked table. However, the ordering process did feel slightly rushed because of the volume of customers. They had a beautiful interior though with low music playing. The tables are all stocked with soy sauce, sriracha, hoisin, salt, pepper, and fish sauce. We had to request chili oil, which they happily obliged. The chili oil alone was a 10/10. Spicy, crunchy, well balanced. We started off with spring rolls (if you don't specify which ones they will automatically bring out the shrimp and pork ones) which came with a nice garlicky peanut sauce. The shrimp tasted fresh and the pork added a nice slight saltiness and texture. The noodles were cooked well and the veg was fresh and tightly wrapped even when dipped & bit. We both ordered the Pho Chin (lean brisket) one large and one small. Both portions were consistent with their descriptions. With the large I got more meat, broth AND noodles. I ended up taking half of mine home while my spouse finished theirs and felt comfortable. The broth was clear and delicious. I was worried that the broth would be sweet since that's been a common theme in OK, but that was not the case. Deliciously savory and balanced with spices. My only note would be that I would've liked two separate plates of side veg (jalapeños, lime, basil, bean sprouts) since we both enjoy these additions to our soups. Overall a good experience for the food alone. For the fact that we weren't told it was cash only from the start, we had to pay for water bottles instead of being offered cups, and the wait time for the check; this was not a GREAT experience. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars.
