I love having a legit pho establishment nearby. This place serves some good pho. I recommend the steak pho. The broth is so comforting. As far as the chicken pho- I like to request them to not add in the broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. To me, these change the flavor of the broth too much. My wife had been wanting to try this place for the longest time, but I've been less sanguine - a good pho shop in our backyard would be too good to be true. Persuaded by the high Yelp marks, we finally did venture out tonight, sort of. Since it was take-out rather than dine-in, we decided to save the pho for another day - I mean, just imagine how you can do take-out on a soup noodle bowl that also carries raw veggies! I just want to spare mother earth of a few pieces of plastic. Instead, we had a fried noodle dish (H1) and the clay-pot fried rice (C6). The former was a '3' for me - noodles flavored with ketchup had never been on my culinary bucket list; the fact that the veggies are way under-cooked, many of the meats deep-fried, and both lacking any sort of special taste, outside of a not-immodest amount of grease ... all made it just a little better than 'meh'. The clay-pot fried rice was better: the rice was quite flavorful, with the other meat ingredients (all but identical to the first dish, with shrimp, chicken, pork that could be fresher...) also benefitting from this cooking method. But even here, the broccoli, cauliflower, and napa were also under-cooked and devoid of any taste, and the haphazard way in which the rice - just like the noodles in the other dish - was stirred-fried was not impressive (some clumps of rice would look darker in color than others, much like some noodles were more red with the ketchup). Over-looking these imperfections, I did enjoy the taste of the rice dish more, and would give it a '4', along with some be-kind-to-neighborhood-small-businesses grace points rounds it up to an average of '4'. I called to order pho tai on a Thursday night. It was cold and a good bowl of it always sounds good to warm up. I should have known, it's always a telling sign when the restaurant is practically empty, but went home still ready to eat my pho. It smelled delicious in the car. When I opened the box though, what was supposed to be slices of rare (practically raw) beef were grey, dried up pieces of meat. They look like they had been sitting out or already cooked. However, I tried to disregard that and opened up the container of soup which was incredibly aromatic. I continued to eat everything except for the meat. The soup, noodles and veggies were delicious. The meat was so nasty looking I didn't even want to give it to my dog. All in all, I'm hoping this was just a one time thing. I will go back one more time (maybe). read more

Can't believe I hadn't been here sooner being it's so close by to me. Stopped by here after a movie and was pleasantly surprised. Service was extremely quick. It wasn't a crowded night but the service was SO fast by the time we sat and ordered our food was out right away and very fresh and piping hot! We both got some classic Pho and the broth was very flavorful and delicious. Our server was very attentive and the man who bussed our table as we were leaving was so kind and sweet. Stopped here for a quick bite on the way home Monday night from the gym - since we were smelly we decided to order take out at the counter, although it probably wouldn't have mattered since the restaurant was basically empty except for one couple whom was finishing their meal. Item #1: chicken pho = This was my biggest disappointment, it severely lacked the desire pho flavor, it had inadequate noodles (which I find is rarely a problem when ordering pho anywhere else- normally there is a plethora of noodles!), and the veggies included broccoli and cauliflower which just didn't seem right. Overall this did not meet my pho craving at all. Item #2: Bun Dac Biet (grilled shrimp / pork / special sauce on rice vermicelli) - this was actually better than the pho, but i really didn't find it to be anything special. My mother took me here on one of those rare cold days in Orlando when I was craving Soup. It's one of her favorite Vietnamese places, tucked away in a strip mall, set back from the road and so blink and you will miss it. So we started with menu item A3 - Boiled Pork and Vegetables Summer Roll. There honestly wasn't enough boiled pork for me and I found the accompanying peanut sauce was too cloying and sweet. Then for my main, I decided to get menu item P8 - Veggie Pho (Pho Chay) and also got a drink - Thai - which our server said he could give me with Boba which I was super happy about!! My mum decided to get menu item V1- steamed rice with stir fried veggie and tofu and then we got Fried Rice for my dad as a takeaway option. So.. my Veggie Pho was okay. The broth wasn't as rich as I would have liked, but it was a healthy amount of veggies, so I was happy about that. Mum's Stir Fry Veggie (V1) had a lovely sauce and yummy + crunchy veggies. When we opened the Fried Rice takeaway box later, it was semi-disappointing as it was heavy on the rice and not as veggie-intensive as we would have liked. Great food, great hospitality, my chicken wings were on point crispy and cooked to perfection. Food was waiting on me when I got there, nice interior I plan on dining in on my next visit. Pho is my go to when I have an upper respiratory infection it clears my sinus instantly. They were not stingy with the vegetables or meat, I like that hint of cinnamon taste in the broth. As much as we love driving 25 minutes to the mills 50 area for Vietnamese good but we appreciate having a delicious local option as well. The pho here is DELICIOUS. The broth for the pho is rich and hearty and they load you up with all the goodies for whatever type you chose. Love this place! Used to come here years ago and just came back tonight for a quick dinner. They have redecorated and it looks great! The food was delicious just as I remembered; I got the beef stew with bread and my fiancé got a bowl of pho. Both were delicious! The beef in my stew was so soft and tender. I came here on a Friday. It was not busy but still great place to come. The service was good. I usually go in my area in Mills for Vietnamese food but came here since it was by my friend's area. I ordered the Com Tho (fried rice with steak, calamari, shrimp and vegetables in a clay pot). The dish was very tasty. Definitely would come again for a less crowded Vietnamese restaurant. How am I supposed to enjoy a hot bowl of pho when it feels like the inside temperature is above 85 degrees? What a great pho place in an area with not many choices! It's a quiet restaurant but the food and service is friendly and great. We ordered the Vietnamese coffee which was one of the best I've had. We had summer rolls, omelet, and pho. The pho is a large bowl and comes packed with meat and lots of noodles !!! Noodles were cooked perfectly and they give you plenty of bean sprouts and basil. The great thing about this place is that they provide chili oil hot sauce which most Vietnamese places don't have that. Most only have sriracha. The service is good and fast. I went conservative and had the clay pot, the flavor was amazing, my daughter got the chicken noodle soup once again the flavor was amazing but warning if you ask for spicy don't be surprised, when you get what you ask for, my husband tried a dish that you put everything together using rice paper, once again the flavors were amazing, he did ask for directions on how to eat though, lol! I've only used DoorDash to order their food, but they've managed to messed it up twice in a row. The first time, I ordered a Special Rice Plate, I received a food plate without rice. No idea how this place has such high reviews. Here are the reasons for my rating: 1. Food took about an hour and a half longer than when it was supposed to be ready. 2. Portions pathetically small. We've been to other pho places who offer an abundance of noodles, herbs, meat, and vegetables to add. Not here. 3. Food not fresh. Lettuce in summer roll was browning at the edges. Vegetables provided with pho didn't seem fresh. Carrots seemed like they were the frozen kind. No lime was provided. Basil was very bitter. No cilantro either. 4. Pho broth lacked flavor dimensions. Barely any spices like you'd typically expect. We got the food at the end of the day, a few minutes after closing (even though they close at 9 and our food was due at 7:30) and I wondered if they just boiled water and put some hoisin sauce in it or something. 5. Customer service utterly lacking. My husband called to ask if they could put tofu in the summer rolls and the man told him he had like five orders waiting in front of him and hung up. Once my husband arrived, the lady calling out names for orders would wave people off if they weren't who she was looking for. She treated the customers waiting like pesky numbers, not human beings, much less customers. My reccomendation: Save yourself the disappointment and use your money to support and reward businesses who offer quality in both food and customer service. read more
