This is the worst pho I have ever had! The room is small and shabby. The air is smelly hot. Bad experience!

Please go try this place!! Run by a wonderful couple, with a chef who cooks with love. The atmosphere is like you're eating at your family's house, so expect being comfy and relaxed! The pho is absolutely amazing, with delicious meat, good noodles and broth you want to drink forever. I left with my heart and belly full, ready to come back soon. Too much MSG, soggy noodle, only 2 slice of meat and one which is pretty much fat. Got hair in my daughter' soup! Disgusting! Stingy with sprouts; we had 3 full order and got just 1 plate of sprout (20 strings), basil (2tips),5 slices of jalapeño. I order extra noodle but it looks like the other 2 regular orders. Place was hard to find and no parking. Unfriendly service, very small cramp place. Had to go to another restaurant after seeing hair in the soup. read more

Excellent food! It's a great atmosphere sitting outside. We enjoyed talking to the staff.

Service was fine. Ordered to go since we always have leftovers. Egg rolls were nice & crispy outside but mushy inside. Combo crispy noodles was relatively flavorless. Veg pad thai had a burnt smell (I think it was the peanuts) and was underwhelming. Sat outside and could hear all the conversation (yelling?) inside. Will likely give it one more shot to try the pho in soup weather but 1st impression was disappointing. read more

Kind of a weird setup but the food was on point. You can order downstairs and eat up stairs. Nice family restaurant. Orange chicken was hot, crispy and very good. We got seconds of that. Family liked the pho as well. If I go back to Big Bear, I will return and get more orange chicken!!! read more

Very tasty food! The shrimp rolls are AWESOME!! The peanut sauce even more so! We had the orange chicken, had great crunch, just the right spicy, and the rice was fluffy and aromatic! I really wanted to love this place. The broth had very little flavor. It felt authentic, but, no flavor. The condiments on the table were filthy. I have never seen so much on the table for flavor. Went a couple months back Showed up with my dog since yelp said dogs allowed, and the guy at the register quickly ushered me out to sit at a makeshift outdoor patio. The direction from the guy certainly came off quite brash and was not at all cordial. He didn't even give me any instruction or try to be kind. What I would've liked to hear is "Hi sir I'm sorry we can't allow dogs in here. We're happy to come take your order outside and bring the dog some water." I decided to stay since I was really hungry but honestly regretted it. It was so cold they should've just not offered patio seating. Decent pho for what it's worth. read more

This place is magical. I got the chicken orange chicken. It's so good and their chicken soup was so amazing and so hot tongue burning hot. That's the way I love my food and they're little they work so good I have to come and try their new food that they haven't had time, but will be back soon. read more

The food was fine, for the most part. The fried rice ended up being what I ate the most of, which was good. The only thing that was very mediocre was the pho, which is concerning considering that that's the star dish of the restaurant. The noodles tasted stale, the broth was underwhelming, and the chili oil on the table was rancid smelling and tasting. The service was good considering that it's a family owned and run restaurant. I understand that it's difficult to keep things going smoothly when there's a lot of pressure and customers to serve, but they were a hot mess nonetheless. We even heard them yelling at each other in the kitchen at one point. As for the ambiance, for us it was a little odd. They don't have a ton of space so they offered us to dine in the upstairs room, but the room felt like a prison cell more than anything. The good thing is that it had a bathroom within, There was one window and no decoration other than just chairs and tables. We were the only family eating in there for a long time, and it was just more awkward with two families eating up there. They also charge 3% for using your credit card, which sucks. If you have a small party, like 2-4 people, sure! It'll be a better experience. Don't bring a group bigger than that. And try to go when they're not busy or you'll end up being ignored for a while because they're stretched thin or you'll be put up in the upstairs room. read more

Came here during a snowstorm because my girl was craving pho, and what baby wants baby gets. We ordered downstairs, and made our way upstairs to find a table. There were two other parties there so we were able to find a comfortable seat. I got the chicken teriyaki which was tasty and well prepared. I really appreciated that the rice was fresh. This restaurant should consider cooking their dishes fresh, as they are ordered. We had an orange chicken that tasted as if it was prepared 3 days ago, and it was too spicy. Also has a crispy noodle dish that was so mushy. I don't know how long it must have been sitting around. We should have known that this would be the case when our take-out order was ready almost immediately. Blah! Food has NO flavor. Pai Thai has zero flavor. You are suppose to get chicken beef and shrimp with it but it was missing the beef. It taste as though the meat and noodles were boiled and tossed together. I had 3 bites and threw the rest out. My friend had kung pow chicken. The meat was boiled but not completely and there was no flavor. Well the peanuts were tasty. You get the food in a large to go bowl 3/4 is rice and less than a 1/4 is Kung pow chicken. It's hard to explain this place. The lock on the front door was broken so you had to knock on the door to be let in. I wasn't sure if this was a speak easy. You walk in and there are two tables for 4 people each and then a counter height table for 4 people. There is an upstairs but it was hush hush, We felt uncomfortable so we just got the food to go. There are a lot of tables outside but it's cold! The place seemed clean. Didn't use restroom so I don't know about the cleanliness. The staff was very pleasant. I do not like giving a three star review on a new restaurant, but I was very disappointed in the taste of the food. read more

The quality of the meat has gone down and the portions are half the size. I can no longer recommend this place. The food just isn't good anymore and is way overpriced for what you get now. read more
