Ambience - family style with 2 large TVs mounted in walls for game watchers/diners. Foods - we preordered the special dishes . Give them your bid and desires and he delivers Amazing presentation and delicious Some were over seasoned and on the sweeter notes but everyone enjoyed them especially the ox tail stew and trenching the garlicky bread is satisfying and wholesome.

I can't believe that the rating is so low on this restaurant. This is one of the best Vietnamese places I've had on the Peninsula! I would recommend this place to my parents, my best friend, my relatives, my coworkers, or the guy on the street. This spot is in my rotation of reliable restaurants that get every dish right. My boyfriend and I got the bbq pork spring rolls, he got the oxtail soup and I got the beef garlic noodle. The bbq pork spring rolls were so savory and the vegetables were so fresh! This was the perfect appetizer to start off our night. The beef garlic noodles were absolutely packed with fried minced garlic. There were so many noodles in this dish I finished maybe half of them? That's being generous! The beef was also delicious and savory! Little Vietnamese Bistro is fantastic, and I will not listen to anyone who believes otherwise.

    chicken papaya salad $15

The food tasted OK at Little Vietnamese Bistro. There were two other parties when I ate here at 6pm on a Thursday night. Slow night. Food arrived shortly after I ordered. The chicken papaya salad $15 was drenched in fish sauce. It was a wet salad with a lot of nuts and shredded steamed chicken. The little pieces of crunchy dried garlic was a nice touch. It would have been nicer if there were more herbs like Thai Basil, cilantro or mint to make it more fragrant. The side of five spice chicken $7 looked dry, but it wasn't. It was juicy inside with a light coating of spices. At other restaurants, the skin can be rubbery. Little Viet Bistro cooked this correctly. You can order in Chinese. The staff spoke fluent Cantonese to customers and Mandarin among themselves. Good job everyone at Little Viet Bistro.

Never knew about this place until my husband said he came here with his coworkers few times and I was surprised I never heard of it till recently. Parking are all streets so no lots unfortunately. We came here along with my daughter for lunch. Glad they have high chairs as well for your little ones. What we ordered: Pho Ga: They give you one size and it fills you up! The soup was flavorful and they give you a good amount of chicken. Honestly you can't go wrong ordering Pho Ga. Spring Roll: This one is also another standard dish that you can't go wrong with. The shrimp and the vermicelli noodles with the dipping sauce was good! Again nothing special but it's still a solid dish to order with your main dish! Overall we enjoyed our meal, my daughter enjoyed the Pho Ga and we left with a full stomach!

It's alright. The rare beef and beef balls noodle soup was nice and warm. Wide style rice noodles were a little overcooked and too soft for me. Broth was okay/savory enough. Beef was fine. The imperial rolls with fish sauce was a bit heavy in sodium. Very crunchy exterior. The menu says 6 pieces but imo it's 2 egg rolls. For the price, ehh.. Shrimp rolls were good with the peanut sauce, though quite a few pieces were not deveined which was a little ick.

I don't usually venture this far for vietnamese food bec I've found my reliable 3 minutes away. Given the opportunity to try this out, and I was not disappointed. Went in to this cute little vietnamese restaurant at the end of the street. Today's order was pretty simple. Seafood noodle soup and papaya salad. Quick and easy. Service was super fast. I was in and out in minutes. Glad it came quick bec I forgot to pay for parking and I caught the parking meter lady on her way. Totally did not have any expectations for this placebut I was blown away. It was neatly tucked away down a street that I usually have Filipino or Korean food. The place was clean so I woulSeafood soup was super tasty and flavorful. The papaya salad was the star for me. I have never had my papaya shredded this thin and it was super filling. I'm definitely coming back for sure

I've been craving pho lately and was looking for a new place to try. This one popped up, so I decided to check it out. Wow, just look at that to-go portion size! If you're a fan of Vietnamese food like I am, we've definitely been missing out. I can't believe I didn't know about this place earlier. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I ordered the well-done beef noodle soup, and it was delicious. I can't wait to come back and try other options. There's street parking near the main entrance, but there's also a large lot behind the restaurant, and you can enter from the back. You do have to pay for parking, but it's cheap!

I came to this restaurant for chicken pho. This is the only restaurant of many where they serve you pho with chicken and they include the chicken skin. I found this to be so gross and so unhealthy! And, the noddles turn to like hard plastic by the next day.

food is always quick to come out and pretty big portions. they have a small parking lot in the back and it is free for customers

No wait on a Friday at 12:30p, but almost all of the tables were taken. Metered parking widely available. There is a notepad to write your name and number in your party in case it does get busy, but I was able to wave down a waitress and get seated as soon as I arrived. I've had their: 5 spice chicken and rice: juicy meat, fluffy rice, perfectly pickled cabbage with a flavorful side sauce Rare beef and beef ball noodle soup: wide rice noodle, comes with basil, bean sprouts, slice of lemon, jalapeno slices. I added a few squirts of oyster sauce in the yellow container for more taste Garlic noodles: mid, wouldn't order again Fresh spring rolls: I def could've made a peanut sauce way better than this unfortunately. Unfortunately, the peanut sauce was far too thick and didn't taste great. It was hard to get any sauce on the roll without poking through the rice paper. This dish nearly kept me from returning, but I'm glad I gave the rice plate a chance. That's the order of which I recommend ordering, from best to worse. I wish the sauce bottles were wiped down more regularly to avoid the sticky buildup, and the booth seating felt a bit low compared to the table. I'd probably come back just for the rice plates, but I'm also down to try new things on a menu. Service was really fast. Food came out in 5 minutes. The complimentary tea was lovely. When you are ready to pay, they bring a handheld card reader to you where you choose the tip amount and can tap and pay.

Had a little cold at the beginning of the year. Whenever I am under the weather all I crave is Pho or Ramen. I had not tried the combination Pho at LVB and figured it was an ideal time. Their rice dishes are fantastic, so I was very optimistic. As it turned out, it was decent, but I was expecting it to be better. For me, what makes or breaks Pho is the broth. it was a very particular flavor and I know when a place gets it right. LVB comes close, but it was just a little off. Everything else in the soup was good (meat, noodles, etc.). I am willing to give it another try because thy do such a good job with their other dishes. Service was good taking into consideration it was crowded and it looked like they only had two servers. Now for the pic...

    35. BBQ Pork and Egg Roll with Vermicelli

Arrived on a Tuesday around 6:30 pm and there was no wait for our party of 8. Inside is your typical Asian restaurant setup with some smaller tables as well as some larger tables with a lazy susan. Service was polite and food came out quickly which I appreciated. They also let one of my friends substitute the noodle type to ho fun in the soup noodle which I thought was nice. Parking can be tough around the area as most of it is street parking or metered until 6pm. They do have a small parking lot on the back side, but the spots are super tight so I ended up just parking on the back street to avoid door dings. Since it was my first time trying this place, my friends recommended either a pho/soup noodle dish or the cold vermicelli. I opted for the cold vermicelli bowl with bbq pork and egg rolls and was blown away by the size of the bowl/amount of food that came out (pictures don't do it justice)! - but pretty worth it for the price. Ingredients tasted fresh, but the spring rolls/egg rolls were a bit too thick/almost doughy (?) to me. I also thought the fish sauce had a slightly different taste to it compared to what I'm used to but can't quite put my finger on what's different. Overall the meal was good, but nothing super special aside from the portion size. I couldn't finish my bowl so I took leftovers, but I left feeling full and satisfied. I would def come back and might try the bun rieu or other soup noodles next time! (pro tip: you can specify small size for the soup noodles)

I don't eat porridge often, usually when really under the weather so I'm fortunate to not gone to get some in a while. I called my pickup order since I didn't see an online option. The store front is Ichi Ramen so it's confusing in case you get lost in the busy plaza. I ordered shrimp, fish and plain porridge (congee) along with beef chow fun. 4 dishes total. Total came out to under $60 and it was a heavy bag! The porridge has a nice thick consistency without being runny. It had flavor to not need seasoning and surprisingly large portions of seafood. The chow fun was decent but I've definitely tasted better. Kinda pricy at $18 though the beef slices were big. I appreciated it wasn't as oily as other chow fun I've had so easy to eat without feeling kinda gross after. Solid value, good food, and worth a rec for porridge. All in all, I'd definitely return. 4.5 stars.

The friend Chinese donut was crispy and airy, slightly oily so fryer oil may have needed to be hotter and fry cook need to slow down and let oil temp recover. Customary at most Vietnamese restaurants, you get your food with minimal check ins and not even a plate clearing until the bill comes. This was NOT the case here. There service was definitely in the A/A+ range! I ordered on my phone via QR code, but there was an option to order in person from a server. I ordered many items to try out. I ordered spring rolls, crispy salt and pepper wings, grilled pork banh mi, beef dac beit pho, and a Thai iced tea. Thai Iced Tea was pretty good. Grade: A I thought the Spring Rolls were decent, but what made them even better was the peanut sauce! I always hate when the peanut sauce is watery and this was far from that! An excellent gooey peanut sauce and maybe one of the best I've had fpr consistency. Grade: A- Crispy salt and pepper wings definitely had an incredible crunch. They were up there in crunchiness. The drumettes were meaty which I appreciated. They were well seasoned also. I think I need to try their other wings before crowning these, but some of the cruncheist wings I've had for sure. Grade: A- Beef Dac Biet Pho had some real high quality meat in it. I had options in noodle and my go-to for any pho spot is the egg noodles. I wish it had more bo vien in it, but I appreciated the combo of meats. The broth seemed authentic, but I wanted a tad more flavor out of it without adding sauces. Overall, the pho grade was a B+ bordering an A-. The star of the show was the grilled pork banh mi. The meat was tender and saucy. In fairness I asked for extra pickles and mayo, but I was very impressed. The bread had the crispy crunch we all look for but minus the stale bread. The breads soft yet crispness made it seem as if it just came out of the oven! I'm going to dub this as the best I've had in the Bay Area! There I said it! Grade: A+ Everyone who ordered the sampler seemed very pleased at other tables, I would definitely try that. Also, want to try the other banh mis and noodle options for the pho. There was a nice vibe at this place. I didn't feel rushed although they do close fairly early at 8pm. The server's mom is the one cooking in the kitchen and I appreciated the family feeling at this place. They do have a newer location in San Francisco that has a DJ Friday nights that I may check out. I believe the server said that they are open til 2am on most nights, but I may have misheard her. Feel free to Yelp that location. My only disappointment was that I really love papaya salad and it was not an option. I may make this my go-to spot from now on, but as a Yelper, we all know we will keep trying new places. Service was prompt and there was no wait. Theres parallel parking in front but its usually filled. Theres a lot behind the store and parking in the next street. The surrounded area is residential so you should be able to find a spot after some hunting.

But I'm not upset at all about this impromptu decision as we had a great meal here. Our table of 6 ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. the most notable items for me were the spicy wontons and fish in chili oil. The dishes were spicy but not so much so that you couldn't enjoy the actual flavors of the dish. For those that like the Szechuan tingling feeling, the chicken in explosive chilis was also quite good. We had also given the string beans, green onion pancake, and pork and shrimp dumplings a shot and all of them hit the spot. I'm usually a huge fan of braised beef noodle soup so decided to get that here too. It wasn't the same as if I had gotten this dish at a Taiwanese restaurant; compared to the strong flavors of the other dishes, this one was pretty mild. So it's something I would skip next time I come, but every other dish was on point. Our waitress was also great at taking care of us, bring out our food quickly and helping us to clear the other plates. Even after we finished our meal and overstayed our welcome by continuing to chat, the staff didn't make us feel rushed to leave.
