Pretty decent, simple dishes here. The walnut prawns were on point and they don't mix the walnuts in but have them on the side. The seafood fried rice was ok. The interior decor is very clean and spacious.

Dropped off an ups package next door and saw Ng's Cooking right next door, never been, so I went inside to take a look. I checked out their menu and they had a lunch special. I was very happy to see since lunch specials are my favorite since you get so much for a good price. The food took about 10 minutes from ordering to go. I got the bitter melon with shrimp. Tasted like home. Nothing fancy, but it hit the spot. Def a good spot for a quick bite and it's so close to home too. The vibes were nice and they had a tv playing football. Check em out! -BlackTigerEats

They saw us at the door and shut off the lights and didn't let us pick up our order. Their loss. We're not coming back again.

Called in an order. They said they closed at 8:30. We arrived at 8:15 pm. They shut off the lights and didn't give us our order. Won't be ordering here again.

The place is solid affff. I've been frequenting Ng's Cooking a lot recently especially during for their lunch deals. $12+ for rice, entrée, and soup!! Of course you don't get the full serving size of entrée but their dishes are SO tasty that I'm willing to overlook it loll. All their dishes are tasty and serving size is pretty generous! Beware though, their spicy dishes aren't spicy at all but I'm sure you can request the kitchen to adjust it to your preference. Don't get the dim sum here!! Def overpriced but other dishes tho... *chefs kiss*

I love Ng's. It's close to home and come here for a quick rice plate lunch for just $12. We had Sweet and Sour Pork and Mongolian Beef with soup. My absolute go to place!

The lunch specials are where it's at! Decent prices and decent food. Its not superb, but it's definitely good for a quick lunch.

Beef stew wonton soup w/fun

This place serves one of the best beef stew noodles soups. Portions are great and service is friendly. Will be back to try more!

Food is still average. I forgot we ate here before, but stopped in for a snack. Crispy seafood chow mein was average. Crispy noodles when out of kitchen, corn starchy gravy seafood (squids, shrimps, fish, scallops). Asparagus with XO sauce was good, asparagus still Crispy. Wor wonton soup was average, pork wontons, shrimps, spinach, and squid in broth. I did not like pork wonton, tasted old or bad spice. Service was quick as no one else in restaurant. Ambiance is like oother small cafes with about 10 tables. Overall, 3 stars out of 5.

One word ~ Sweet Orange Chicken supposed has orange flavor with sweet and salty but not this one. I just tasted sweet. Same thing as Sweet and Sour Cod, not enough vinegar but sweet. Eggplants also has sweet flavor only. But thank you for the free egg rolls. Nice customer service.

The food is good, but this place is quite pricey for what it is. The Lunch specials are reasonably priced so I'd say that's the way to go.

Coincidentally, some of my friends were also thinking of coming here so we made it happen on Sunday evening. We pre-ordered the big duck and shared the rainbow salad, bok choy with morel mushrooms, sweet and sour shrimp and sweet and sour whole fish. The Peking Duck was indeed the best I've had in the Bay Area (it's crispy, rich but somehow not greasy). You get the traditional crepes (as opposed to the Bao in most places) and accompaniments. They also made a great broth with the duck bones that served as an excellent consommé. The rest of the dishes were also good - I would order that shrimp and rainbow salad again for sure. Service was OK and the restaurant looks recently remodeled. There were five of us and we spent about $55 each - an incredible value for the meal. Highly recommended!!!

The place was busy by the time we got there, so plan in advance or get reservations. My favorite dishes were the black pepper steak, cumin lamb, and of course, the duck. I really liked how they also offer to fry or stew the duck bones to your preference after finishing. The duck was juicy and perfectly cooked. Parking is easy since it's the big shopping mall lot. I'd just recommend going early or getting reservations in advance. It seems like it gets busy a lot.

UGHHH yes bro fried rice is GOOD i haven't stuffed that in my mouth since like 5 yrs of age. i love the little salty pieces and also the yummy rice and all the oily fish. wonton mein is delicious. super tender beef, bouncy firm noodles, msg laden soup. wontons are too small but cooked well and very flavorful. sugar ball is COLD and sugary and fried. idk it wasn't my thing. it has a custardy dough center that tastes nasty to me also everything is lowkey overpriced but i would say it's generally worth it. I don't eat porridge often, usually when really under the weather so I'm fortunate to not gone to get some in a while. I called my pickup order since I didn't see an online option. The store front is Ichi Ramen so it's confusing in case you get lost in the busy plaza. I ordered shrimp, fish and plain porridge (congee) along with beef chow fun. 4 dishes total. Total came out to under $60 and it was a heavy bag! The porridge has a nice thick consistency without being runny. It had flavor to not need seasoning and surprisingly large portions of seafood. The chow fun was decent but I've definitely tasted better. Kinda pricy at $18 though the beef slices were big. I appreciated it wasn't as oily as other chow fun I've had so easy to eat without feeling kinda gross after. Solid value, good food, and worth a rec for porridge. All in all, I'd definitely return. 4.5 stars.

But I'm not upset at all about this impromptu decision as we had a great meal here. Our table of 6 ordered a variety of dishes and everything was delicious. the most notable items for me were the spicy wontons and fish in chili oil. The dishes were spicy but not so much so that you couldn't enjoy the actual flavors of the dish. For those that like the Szechuan tingling feeling, the chicken in explosive chilis was also quite good. We had also given the string beans, green onion pancake, and pork and shrimp dumplings a shot and all of them hit the spot. I'm usually a huge fan of braised beef noodle soup so decided to get that here too. It wasn't the same as if I had gotten this dish at a Taiwanese restaurant; compared to the strong flavors of the other dishes, this one was pretty mild. So it's something I would skip next time I come, but every other dish was on point. Our waitress was also great at taking care of us, bring out our food quickly and helping us to clear the other plates. Even after we finished our meal and overstayed our welcome by continuing to chat, the staff didn't make us feel rushed to leave.
