This place has the best Pho I've ever had and I've eaten pho all over Ohio and out of state. My boyfriend and I have been going here for years and they usually remember our orders now when we come in. The staff is always friendly and their pho is hands down the best around. I ordered P2 which was the Pho noodle soup with brisket and the whole thing was slices of fat. I removed it all and showed the lady whom I'm guessing is the owner and she told me "yes it's all fat"...confused I asked her again and she agreed and said if I didn't want the fat inside order something else. I have eaten way too much of this stuff... It's pretty good. I get the beef noodle soup. It comes with weird gelatinous tendons and fat but I like that kinda stuff. The curry chicken pho is really good too. I just don't care for boiled chicken all that much. read more

I have given this restaurant three visits before I made my Yelp review. All 3 times, the pho is super greasy.. so greasy that you see a fat coating on your sauces and your lips feel like you put on lip gloss. The servers there are not friendly and really don't look like they want to be there. You come into the restaurant and instead of a hello! how are you!, you get a person pointing at the table so you can sit there. Even though Buckeye Pho isn't that great but due to the fact that it's the closest to Pho Chef, I would choose Buckeye Pho over Pho Chef any day. read more

I'm a fan of this place for PHO.. they have plenty of options for different Pho combinations, tripe, tendons, pork, meatballs, chicken and the special. It's definitely my go to spot even though its a little farther than I want to drive. But the servers and kitchen staff are pretty quick to take your order and deliver the food pretty fast. It is always busy when I'm there. The reason I chose this place for Pho is because of the consistency of the broth and how flavorful it tastes to me. That means everything to me when you sip on the broth before you add all the toppings to spice it up (hoisin, saracha, hot oil, black pepper, lime, basil ) I prefer my broth with a lot of flavor instead of the watered down Pho broth that lacks flavor at some of these other places. I like how they prepare ice coffee and thai tea. I know most southeast asian restaurants serve it but I do notice when one stands out from others and as long as I've been drinking ice coffee vietnamese style (condense milk ) I know the difference. I can't say much about anything else except for the Pho because if the restaurant name is "Pho Chef" I have to try what they aim to target Pho seekers. The decor is simple just a huge TV and tables, clean bathrooms, clean restaurant. Def, try this place out if you are in the mood for Pho and also they have an extensive menu so you could spend a long time trying to figure out what you want to eat. They may serve Pho but I know they are not one dimension. They do one thing good and thats great but they also do a lot of other things great. Kudos for giving us options when it comes to Pho and Vietnamese cuisine and maybe a little Thai/Cambodian. read more

I was so thrilled to find a Pho place on this side of town. If you asked me a couple of months ago I would have given them 4 stars..... but now I have found the quality going down hill. The broth was greasy and what little chicken there was, had grizzle. So sad about this! I will make the trip to Pho Asian Noodle on Lane Ave where it has always been 5 stars for me. read more

For a pho place in Dublin, it's pretty decent. We called in a pick up order and was told it would be ready in 5 mins. The pork in the pork vermicelli was flavorful. The chicken was not quite as good and the shrimp were the smallest suckers I have ever seen and they were boiled or steamed plain instead of marinated and grilled. Prices were pretty cheap -- approx $8 for a bowl. Definitely better than Buckeye Pho. Good for a quick, cheap pho fix. read more

The Pho was delicious. I went at 6pm on a weekday and they were empty, which I think is due to the ambience (or lack thereof). It had the decor of a fast food place. We're it not for that, I'd give it five stars. Tasty, quick, and my pho only cost 7 bucks. read more

To sum it up in a short manner, this place is good, cheap, and provide a great value. The menu is very large, almost too large, it takes a while to decide what to get. Having said that we probably been there 10-15 times now and I have to say almost everything we ate had been great. read more

I have been here twice now, and I agree with the other reviewers here, that the pho is the way to go. I have a four year old and a 15 month old and ordering two bowls of pho feeds the whole family. It is huge! Two orders could feed a family of four with older children as well. The food is fresh and flavorful. The tofu spring rolls were big, light and fresh. I have only ordered pho, my husband ordered a different dish this time and he was a little disappointed he didn't order the pho, hence my four star rating. I am always in search of a good lace to get Phad Thai, but it seems everywhere I go Otis just ok. The Phad Thai here was really good and better than any place I have tried before. I will definitely be coming back to order this again and to try some other dishes. read more

Just went there for dinner and it was fantastic. It was my first time there but it met my expectations for pho. It tastes just like buckeye pho. And the waitress there was really nice too. We came 5min before they closed and they welcomed us and even though we ate through their closing time they were nice and still have us polite service. Also it's a little cheaper than buckeye pho. I went on one of my "get lost" trips during lunch. I wanted a different Asian food place that dint have that same old same old. So I came to this spot Pho Chef. I have to admit I was not sure as it was REALLY different but I was just getting off a cold and was looking for something spicy for my ball on head. I ordered the crispy cabbage roll things and some kind of chicken dish (hey sorry)... Anyway, it was all good, yummy yummy and the cab age rolls survived a trip back to Springfield and were still like someone just made them. Crispy crunch makes you think about it for days! "how did they get it so crispy" you ask yourself.... but nonetheless I did not have noodles and will be going back to try those as well... as far as what I had this first trip, the fact I decided to search for it, make note of its location this time and plan to go back. Friendly staff and reasonably priced with what might be the largest TV i have ever seen in a dining establishment- If you like spicey food - look no further! S16 Spicey Beef is INCREDIBLE! Literally go once or twice a week to get this same item every single time. Extremely addictive.
