H53 Wonton Soup with Egg Noodles

First time here. Easy parking, friendly staff, clean restaurant. The waiter I ordered the H53 Wonton Soup with egg noodles. My wife ordered a Grilled Chicken Banh Mi.

Pho Dublin has become our local, go-to Vietnamese place whenever we want savory, sweet grilled shrimp, pork, or chicken. Our 5yo son is addicted to their grilled shrimp. Its likely marinated with lemongrass, ginger and fish sauce but what really stands out is the slightly sweet taste from either honey or sugar. The grilling caramelizes the sugar so you get a sweet, crispy crust. He can feat all the shrimp from the shrimp rice plate, extra side of 5 grilled shrimp, and the two extra shrimp pieces from my combo bun. Besides their awesome shrimp, I also recommend their grilled pork vermicelli with egg roll and bonus shrimp. Nice balance of savory meats, pickled veggies, and rice noodles seasoned with clear fish sauce. The wife is a fan of their Combo Pho #19, which comes only in large or extra large. The broth is sweet and savory and bot overly salty. Beef is often served rare (ideal since it'll cook in the broth), and you can omit squiggly tripe if that's not your thing. Note they also serve banh mi sandwiched and have a while array of Vietnamese Coffees, Boba Teas, and other fruity drinks.

If you're craving pho in Dublin, this spot is a solid choice. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking, so getting in and out is easy. Inside, the space is clean, roomy, and has a modern take on a classic mom‑and‑pop feel. I've tried both the egg rolls & spring rolls and while they're not standout dishes, they're definitely enjoyable and satisfy the craving. The dipping sauce leans on the saltier side. My usual order is the pho with steak, tendon, and tripe. The protein quality is good--nothing exceptional, but the broth is what keeps me coming back. It's darker than most pho broths and whatever they do in the cooking process gives it a deeper, richer flavor. Someone in my party also tried the bun bo hue, which they described as just okay. It could use more spice and umami to give it more depth. One thing I appreciate is that utensils and condiments are readily available and not prepackaged, so you can adjust everything to your liking. Prices feel reasonable for the area and the service is generally average in a good way--prompt, efficient, and they let you enjoy your meal without hovering.

Pho Dublin is my favorite place to get a comforting bowl of pho when I'm in Dublin! The restaurant is small, but with enough tables to accommodate a lunch rush, and I've never had to wait for a table. Service is fast and friendly, and the ambiance is quiet for it being on the corner of San Ramon Rd. & Amador Valley Rd. The pho broth is flavorful without being fatty, and the noodles have always been perfectly cooked. I love the freshness of the herbs and bean sprouts. There are your usual condiments of sriracha and hoisin sauce, as well as chili oil, which I always add to my pho. The various meats are tender and not overcooked. They only have two sizes, large and extra large. I get the large, and it is the perfect portion for me. I've had the beef stew noodle soup in the past as well, and that is also pretty good. However, the BBH is not it though, and I've had a ton of good bowls of BBH, so I know what I'm looking for. The flavor is just not there, so stick to ordering pho. In addition, I have not ordered the rice plates or other items, so I cannot attest to the flavor of their other dishes. Not shown in my photos are their drinks, which I have also tried in the past. They are fruity and refreshing, and a great size for the price. I'd definitely recommend Pho Dublin for your pho fix if you're in Dublin or passing by on 580!

My family and I wanted to get some noodle soup before shopping. We decided try out this restaurant. There was a good amount of seating and the staff were attentive and kind. We got the Pho Combo Special and Grilled Pork Shrimp Shredded Pork Egg Cake Egg Rice Plate. The food was delicious. I love the noodle in the pho! The meats were very tender. The shredded pork in the rice plate was not my favorite but the grilled pork was very tender and flavorful! I recommend this spot if you're looking for some hot noodle soup in the area!

This was our first time trying this place, and we ordered through DoorDash. It arrived with the broth in a separate container, a plastic bag with cilantro, lemon, and sauces, and another container with rice noodles and veggies. We combined everything into a bowl with the broth, and it was delicious. I would love to visit the restaurant in person soon--I think the experience would be even better dining there. At home, it was a little difficult putting everything together. I'm giving four stars because the packaged sauces were placed in the same bag as the cut lemons and cilantro. Since anyone could have touched the sauce packets, it didn't feel very sanitary. Overall, though, the flavor was great.

Cold Saturday late morning for early lunch Pho. Nice friend operated restaurant with an extensive menu. Today I had the wonton, pork, egg noodle soup, small size = large). It came in a large bowl. Food delivery is always quick to the table. Unfortunately I forgot to snap a photo. And the large bowl made the portion small but was appropriate for my appetite. There were plenty of pork. It was fulfilling and enjoyable meal.

I'm so glad we came back!! Before covid, this used to be my family and is go to place for pho in addition to a couple other locations in our rotation. A couple years ago, they gained new management and we returned for their soft opening and we were not the biggest fans of the new flavors they served and never came back. My family and I recently returned and oh my gosh am I happy to report that our love for this restaurant has been restored! The food was absolutely delicious! The pho broth is a little on the sweet side which was not an issue for us. We ordered chicken wings, fried egg rolls and spring rolls and eventually placed an additional order for the chicken wings because they were so delicious!! Everything tasted so good! The wait staff were attentive and because were Vietnamese food lovers, ordering was super easy. The ambiance was very nice, like what I remember just a little updated! I'm so glad we came back after all this time. Can't wait till we dine in again! Not to mention the pricing was very fair for the amount of food that we got!

To-go order review Located in a plaza so plenty of parking. Ordered 2 combinations pho. Friendly staff and ready to pick up when I got there. Soup was separated from the container with noodles, and all the meat (rare steak was packed in wrap). Another bag for the bean sprouts and thai basil. Soup was still hot by the time we got home. Overall, was ok. Broth was on the sweeter side, meat was just ok, and noodles were a bit overcooked and broke easily but was expecting it as it wasn't fresh. Portion was decent and would come back if I was in the area.

My family and I have been coming here for years, since they changed name. It is a convenient spot: just opposite Hana Japan and Country Waffles and there is always parking. Typical pho place. Casual sitting yet not too crowded or little space. Staff is always very efficient and quick. Smiles too even when busy. Food comes out really quickly too. The speediness of this place is the main reason we stop by each time.

We came back to this place because we were craving Hainanese Chicken Rice and Laksa Noodle Soup…read more These were the three dishes we ordered: First was the K1 Special Laksa Fish Noodle Soup, $16.50, or 招牌叻沙魚綫面 (叻沙湯). I had tried this dish before and enjoyed it, but I didn't remember the broth being so light. I thought the dish would've benefited from a thicker and creamier broth. I think adding some coconut cream to increase the creaminess would've made it better, imho. That said, the real highlight of this dish was still the fish noodles. They were these long, tube shaped pieces of fish cake that acted like noodles, and they were delicious and felt high in protein. The bowl also came with a good amount of toppings. I especially loved their beef balls because they were so firm and almost crunchy when I bit into them. There was also shrimp, Napa Cabbage, and other toppings that made the bowl feel hearty. My mom got the K8 Slice Beef Laksa Fish Noodle Soup, $16.95, or 肥牛叻沙魚綫面 (叻沙湯). This was very similar to the K1, but the main difference was that it came with thinly sliced beef on top. The beef looked really good, and honestly, I kind of wished I had ordered this one because I like to try something new. It also came with the same delicious fish noodles, so this is probably what I'll try next time. The last dish was the K9 Signature Hainan Chicken Over Rice, $15.50, or 招牌海南鷄飯. My only gripe with this dish was the same as last time. The chicken was chopped right through the middle of the bone, so there were little bone shards mixed in with the meat, which I hate. I really didn't enjoy having to worry about biting into one while eating. Aside from that though, I thought the presentation was much better this time around. It also seemed like they gave us a little more chicken, and the meat was incredibly juicy and succulent. I especially loved how the skin was glistening with the oil. I also loved the whole presentation of the plate, which came with the Chicken and Rice, some kind of Cucumber Salad, Quail Eggs, and a small bowl of Broth on the side.

Consider this place to almost be a "make your own ramen" type of thing, in that you're given a platter of toppings to add to your bowl of steaming hot broth, mix it and let it sit, then voila! It's ready to eat. For a rainy winter evening, it was perfect to have some tasty noodle soup!

The service was really good, they are super on top of cleaning and serving so my food came out in about 15-20 minutes. I got the combo with an appetizer, drink, and noodle soup. The portions were pretty generous. -grapefruit tea: thought it was pretty yummy! I also tried out the super fruit tea and i really liked it but personally found it to be a little too sweet. Not too much to displease though! I mixed some water and it was perfect for me. -tomato beef brisket noodle soup: i was surprised by how tender the meat was and how much they actually give you. If you love tomato soups as much as i do then it's definitely a great option! -takoyaki & lamb skewers: my sister had one dish from her combo order and i has my own but was able to try both! The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. Give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good eat without breaking the wallet!

But years later, Tasty Pot at Ulferts Center is still one of our reliable go-to spots in Dublin. My wife usually orders the Beef Hot Soup, while I go for the Taiwanese Supreme Spicy Hot Soup - both with a side of rice and either black or green tea during lunchtime. Both pots are consistently delicious, satisfying, and served steaming hot - the kind of hot that clears your sinuses and makes your nose run. For reference, we order them at the "medium" spice level, so either we're weak sauce or they really are that hot and spicy. I especially like that Tasty Pot's meals are complete individual servings. You get the full hot-pot experience without having to fetch ingredients, wait for a communal pot to cook, or coordinate a family-style meal. It's easy, convenient, and perfect when everyone just wants to dig into their own bowl. Service has always been fast, and the food comes out piping hot and ready to enjoy. The wait staff also checks in to see whether you are running low on soup and need a top-off. They also have a rewards program that earns you points toward a free hot pot; it has changed over the last couple of years from a "buy seven, get one free" setup to a points-based system - either way, it's a nice bonus. If you're craving comforting Taiwanese-style hot pot in the Dublin, Pleasanton, or Livermore area, this is an easy five-star choice.

My sister recommended Tasty Pot because she said it was well known for its soup and good service,…read moreso we decided to give this location a try. Unfortunately, our experience at the Dublin location was extremely disappointing. We visited on August 8, 2026, at around 8:45 PM. We are a family of 9 and were just passing through the area on our way to our hotel. Since the restaurant's website states that the closing time is 9:30 PM, we thought we had enough time to have dinner, especially since this was our first time visiting. As soon as we arrived, however, we were told by the server that 8:45 PM was the last call for orders. We immediately tried to order as quickly as possible using the online ordering system because we did not want to inconvenience the staff. After placing our order, we were then told that green tea and other teas were unavailable, so all of our drink orders were canceled except for water. We understood that items can sometimes run out, so we let that go. The biggest problem was the service and atmosphere after we received our food. It was very difficult to get the attention of the staff because everyone seemed to be rushing around cleaning. We genuinely felt like we were a burden simply because we were still eating. What was especially inappropriate was that while customers were still dining, the staff began putting chairs up on the tables. I even took a picture because I believe management should be aware of what was happening. If the restaurant is still open and customers are still eating, this is not the kind of atmosphere customers should be subjected to. Even worse, it appeared that the AC was turned off while we were still eating, even though it was not yet closing time. With hot pot already being a very warm meal, we were literally sweating while trying to eat. After a long day of traveling, the last thing we wanted was to feel rushed and uncomfortable during dinner. We tried not to make a big issue out of it because we were tired and simply wanted to finish our meal and get to our hotel. But honestly, this type of service is unacceptable. I don't know if this is how every Tasty Pot location operates, but if this is specific to this branch, management really needs to address it and properly train the staff on how to treat customers who are still dining during business hours. Unfortunately, this was our first experience with Tasty Pot, and it will most likely be our last. We were hoping to enjoy the food and understand why my sister recommended it, but the poor service and uncomfortable atmosphere completely ruined the experience. With hot pot, the food is already hot enough. There's no need for the customers to leave with a boiling-hot temper because of the service. Very disappointing, and definitely not a place I would recommend based on this experience.

Drank it all eventually. 4.5 stars: Worthy:YMMV. Quantity: .8 lb. Minimum. Usual weight. Quality: big assortment to choose from. All fresh. Some Seafood may have been previously frozen. Service: very good. Payment on mobile handsets, not counter. Parking close by difficult. More parking spaces at back of building.

Glad I got to try one of the popular weigh to pay hotpot places! It is in a popular Asian…read morerestaurant plaza so parking can be difficult during busy hours. The inside is packed with tables but more geared towards smaller parties. For bigger parties they may need to move the tables together. The inside is very cutely decorated, and you get a large assortment of ingredients for your soup. Pricing is pretty standard its about $15.99/lb. I enjoyed the hotpot, came out super fast (~10 minutes) and they gave large bowls for sharing between my partner and I. I think the soup broth flavor was not as savory as I had hoped but still sweet and good. While everything was very good, this place is in a very competitive area of food spots. I did enjoy the food but I wouldn't say it's the best of the best soup broth. They have about 5-6 different flavorings/cooking styles but i think some places tend to have more. I enjoyed the food and I think I would come back to try other things. I think they do have a large ingredient selection making for a unique hotpot experience.
