No Flavor Pho. We have been to many Pho places and this one was at the bottom of the list. The Oxtail Pho what? What was that roll they put in a separate bowl? The oxtail meat? This is the best Pho I've had in Santa Clarita. The owners are so sweet and one of them used to be a doctor or something and will tell us about the PH of our body of give us free little cups of lemonade sometimes. Always fresh ingredients and quick service. The ambiance kinda feels like a disjointed dream a toddler would have (but in the best way possible). There are neon lights, stone work, a customer made boba list with flavors made by local patrons and classical music that oscillates between quaint and heroic. We've been here many times so this experience has been super disappointing. Normally one bad experience wouldn't trigger a bad review but I had a "Do not eat" silica packet in my spring roll. Yes, your read that correctly. I took a bite of the spring roll and crunched something hard. If you've had spring rolls before you know that there isn't anything hard in a spring roll. I thought maybe the shrimp tail was left on so I pulled out what was in my mouth and saw a paper with words on it. Then I spat out the rest and saw the entire silica packet. It was open and the pellets were in the lettuce and luckily some were still in the packet. I'm pretty sure I ate some. We immediately told the waiter and he apologized. He said that he'd tell the manager. He came back and said he took off the spring rolls from our bill. What was surprising and disappointing is the manager (who is the owner) didn't even come out to check on us. He didn't come and apologize. And to take off the spring rolls and that's it is shocking. No apology, no explanation, nothing. I mean this is poison! We Googled it and read that I could get stomach pains. Hopefully I'll be okay. Thankfully it was me versus my kid. I'm thinking that they cooked the rice noodles with the silica packet and then wrapped the packet with the noodles. Either way that's insane that someone could miss an entire silica packet as they're wrapping the roll. I try to stay positive and am just thankful that I didn't crack my teeth. Fingers crossed I don't get nausea or the runs! I thought about writing this review bc I do want to support small businesses but the way this was handled was so bad I figure it'll happen again. Another day for me to look some authentic asian food here around SCV area and this restaurant is one of the local business i will gladly recommended to others. Tuesday, June 29th around 6pm I decided to dine in here and it felt so very welcoming here. I was greeted by old asian couple (which i can tell they are owners of the restaurant) and i was nearly glad it reminds me of how old fashioned rural Korean restaurant. i was escorted in the other room (since it was divided by two sections Korean and Vietnamese) since i'm ordering pho. I take the #03 and Kimchi. The Kimchi really reminds me of homemade kimchi cause i can really tell it don't have any funny flavor when i taste it (compare to the manufacture ones like in Walmart ). Then few minutes after eating the kimchi, the pho came and it was mediocre to my tastebud, probably due to wrong mix of side dish and kimchi (its good taste with white rice thou) at the same time. The noodles was really soft and easy to detangle. Its just the soup was make me feel like bland somehow. Overall it was worth to visit this cute, tiny restaurant and if you want to experience a rural asian place atmosphere, then this is one of them p.s. if you want to make your own milk tea flavor, you can name it as your one of the investors of the flavor it was legit read more

Chicken fried rice and pho was not good. Fried rice tasted off, like it was artificial. First time I experienced a taste like that. Completely threw it away. Pho was not flavorful, it was too sweet even after putting sriracha in it to give it taste I didn't like it. Noodles were ok. I wasted $35 on food I didn't even enjoy. Hands down one of the best Pho places I've eaten at. The Pho Short Rib was flavorful and smelled so good. The meat was tasty and cooked just right. The broth was yummylicious! The couple that owns the restaurant was so sweet and gave us excellent service. It was also part of a Korean restaurant call lees Korean barbecue and tofu house so we could choose from both Vietnamese and Korean menu which was a huge bonus. The two young male/ female wait staff were friendly and attentive . This business is the same owner as the Tofu house Korean BBQ next door. Dinner stop on our way to NorCal . I want some hot soup. Sadly I was disappointed . I ordered the #2 pho , the broth were cloudy light color, missing the beef flavor stock scent , I didn't smell aroma of spices that are associated with pho. Used to be one of my favorites, but man has it gone down the hole past 2 years. Was there for a slow lunch day, while car was getting serviced across the street. And the workers started to verbally fight in another language, very VERY loud. Looked like the person from the shop next to it combined walked in and was YELLING to some lady working at the PHO spot. Was thinking of calling the cops, but the guy was way to scary to confront. Left the place without eating much, because of how uncomfortable i felt. First time in Valencia and we were craving Pho. Found Pho HA and believe me when I say it was so delicious. But not only was the Pho good l, the broth hearty, and the portion very generous in size, but the very welcoming owner (I regret not asking him his name) received us so openly and excitedly. He was absolutely the friendliest. Like we were one of the family. And even though there is not much staff, and many tables were being waited on, it was prompt service. Go and give it a try. This place has the best pho in SCV. I've been to all of them out there and you won't find any better. Clear broth and very tasty. It's a little on the sweet side though. I had chicken pho (Pho Ga) and my wife has rare beef pho (Pho Tai). If they used a little less sugar, it's would be perfect and may be comparable to Pho places in LA/OC. Prices are a bit on the higher side but it's SCV. Portions are very generous. Service is good. Plenty of parking too. The owner owns the restaurant next door which is a Korean BBQ place. It appears that you can sit on one spot and order in the other and we've seen food delivered to the Pho restaurant from the Korean Bbq one. read more
