    Medium, rare steak phở
    Sarah A.

Favorite spot to eat piping hot phở in Philly with quick service and brightly lit dining room. (P.S. They've been taking credit card for a few years now, and it's a game changer!) Phở Ha's broth is consistently flavorful, their meat consistently good quality, and they consistently give you plenty of basil, lime wedges, jalapeño slices, and bean sprouts to zhuzh up your bowl (medium and large sizes available: I generally go medium, unless I'm ravenous and we're not getting any appetizers). I also tend to add an order for extra vinegar onions for a minimal fee. The spring rolls are always crispy and served with a delicious dipping sauce, the summer rolls and rice noodle bowls are always well received by my gluten-free friends and family.

The real deal with fresh ingredients. Just order the large combo #17 because it's so worth it.

Solid bowl of pho! Quick service, perfect for a rainy day. The medium bowls were huge and the restaurant is generous with the meat portions! I couldn't finish the medium but thankfully my husband finished his and also mine for me ha! They also give a lot of bean sprouts. Great place to go for beef pho:

I was reflecting on my 2012 review of Pho Ha while enjoying a bowl today and while I realized little had changes, it was still worth a refresh. In a nutshell, their Pho has the same great quality/portions/selection with only slightly increased prices (I mean, it has been 10 years!). Pho Ha is one of my go to places for Pho in Philadelphia. You can order pretty much any combination of Pho you heart would desire. They offer a small bowl, or for less than a dollar, you upgrade to a large (which means you should just upgrade to the large). It is usually promptly brought out to you. Pre-COVID, if I felt at all sick, I'd head to Pho Ha to cure me and it seemed to work magic. Just over $10 still fills you up. They also serve other dishes, which I can honestly not describe since I've never strayed away from their Pho. I have enjoyed a few of their drinks as a nice dessert type treat on the few occasions I'm looking for more to eat. The only change I really noticed over my years of coming to Pho Ha is that they now accept credit card. That gives me even more reason to enjoy a big bowl of Pho.

As soon as I walk into this place I'm immediately thrilled beyond words. I see all sorts of folks enjoying the food, families Vietnamese and all demographics enjoying time together in this restaurant!! The staff was happy and singing and caring for the guests! Nice and clean place! Amazing/ wonderful fragrant food! I loved my grilled chicken over vermicelli! Oodles of veggies and oodles of fresh herbs mint and Thai basil! What heaven! I love this place and wanna come back soon!!!

Creation own pho (fat brisket, tendon)

Good pho place down in south Philly. I came here like the second time so far. I ordered a custom pho with tendon, fat brisket, and fatty flank. Pho was nice and hot. Broth was delicious. Would come here again. One thing is don't expect high customer service here since they can get quite busy. If you only care about the price and the food, yes this is definitely a good pho place. They do have a sign regarding show proof of vaccinations card taped outside of their entrance door for customers to read. However, they do not check vaccinations card. It clearly is just for display.

Came here for Vietnamese food and got the pho chin, bun special, and pho ga tuoi. The bun was terrible. It was such a weird combination that did not go well together at all. The pho bowls were a decent size (we got the large) with a decent amount meat but not that much noodles. The beef and chicken does taste a little different after the beef is cooked in the broth. They have a parking lot but it can be hard to find parking since it is shared with a lot of other restaurants. They also have Bambi and Paris Baguette in the same plaza and a Asian market across the street. Stick with the pho here!

Goi Gong (summer rolls) are thin and sorry looking. But all the noodle soup bowls are big and delicious. I especially like #55 spicy beef soup.

Cannot go wrong with their broken rice. Just go and try for yourself. You cannot beat this taste at this price.

    Bun Bo Hue broth.

Great pho overall! I asked for a special request for my Bun Bo Hue and they were kind enough to leave a note on my food explaining that they did my request but could not do this again moving forward. I appreciated their transparency and following up with me rather than them not fulfilling my request at all. The spring rolls were great and the broths were very flavorful. The portions of noodles and meats were also very large. Did not get a picture of the pho tai chin before it was eaten but it had a lot of meat! Everything was packaged very well and I will definitely be ordering again!

I have really high expectations for pho being born and raised in Vietnam and then literally being a 20 minute drive from little saigon in OC. I wouldn't say this was a great bowl of pho, but for Philly standards, this was decent. Definitely my favorite takeout on ubereats for pho as they are well packaged, portions are huge, and the price is very competitive. My go to bowl is the dac biet as it comes with a little bit of everything!! Definitely a nice takeout meal when the weather is starting to get colder again like it is right now.

Pho Ha has one of the best broths of all of the Pho houses in Philadelphia. #8 has the perfect balance of lean and fatty meats.

The fresh smell of their noodles brings back nice childhood memories. Their food has always been great and their broth is absolutely delicious. Me and my siblings always clear the entire bowl and leave nothing behind. Their spring rolls are a MUST TRY because it's always very crispy and steaming hot when they serve it to you. The drinks are amazing especially their fruit smoothies because they use actual fresh fruits so their drinks end up having a lot of flavor. The staff here are very nice that we even managed to get along with some of them. You can rest assured that you WILL get what you paid for because they fill their bowls to the brim. There's always going to be a good amount of food in each of their dishes so feel free to order whatever you crave. Couple tips: Try to eat AT the place to ensure that your food is fresh and good. Take out for the most part isn't really good because your food is literally just sitting there until you get it or until you open it up and eat it. USE THEIR SAUCES!!! Or make your own sauce with the ones provided. Always makes a difference when I dip food in it or mix it with the soup. Don't be afraid to come with a big group of people. They have an upstairs seating area too but I guess if you're coming with a lot of people just let them know in advance before entering. This is Chinese owned so it's more like a casual Asian restaurant but the food is definitely worth a try because it's affordable.

The biggest surprise was the tái (eye-round steak), yet still retaining that pleasantly chewy texture of undercooked beef; the gầu (fat brisket) was thick and crisp, fragrant but not greasy--who would have thought I'd find brisket fat here? This showed the restaurant's precise control over the broth temperature and the thickness of the beef. Almost all phở restaurants claim to offer authentic raw beef or various cuts of beef, but very few can truly make customers feel the difference. The restaurant's decor is simple but spacious and clean; the service is average, but very efficient. Efficiency is essential for phở, otherwise the beef would be overcooked in the hot broth. After all, the essence of a restaurant is food, and for such affordable ones, it's gratifying to see them spend most of their costs on the food itself.
