Cheap delicious Pho! Always leave more than satisfied. Service can be iffy, but don't let that stop you.

We had take out last week. It was actually pretty good for the price. My husband bought flank and beef. The broth tasted really flavorful. I actually had left overs for the next day and it still tasted good. I will go back here again and it's cheap for $6 who can beat that price right!! read more

Order the #44 if you're not sure what to order! Great pho. I have a couple church friends who are Vietnamese who recommended the place and it's really good. The broth in the soup is pretty darn close to what a church mom would make and it's really good. Just the right amount of noodles and meat. Make sure you dump in all the condiments for the full flavor. However, I will note that my mother and other Asian patrons noted that the broth definitely had a touch of MSG. Nothing ridiculous but it's there. I think it was $6.50 for a big bowl and that's a steal. Also the food came out in under five minutes. Wish Subway or Burger King was that fast! The place is pretty casual and I didn't have qualms slurping and digging in. The mall parking lot was kind of a disaster and I wouldn't necessarily plan on being able to park close to the restaurant. definitely the best pho in Philly...my parents want this literally every time they visit. It's also in an area that has more Vietnamese shops/ restaurants than Chinatown, and ample parking since it's in a shopping center. read more

This pho is pretty good. They have the option of "creating your own pho" I opted for #2 brisket and another meat I can't remember and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. THe noodles and the meat were plentiful even for a small size and the broth was clean and not too heavy. We also ordered the spring rolls that tasted a bit different from what I'm used to but just still quite good. Would go again! read more

Come here for the broth. That's what really sets this place apart from the other pho places. You won't realize that if you immediately start dousing your bowl with condiments so resist the urge and really taste it. I stopped in last night for a bowl I was laughing to myself as I realized I was "mmming" after each bite. I went with the brisket bowl, but it doesn't matter what you get because it's all about the broth. I ended up adding a little bit of chili oil to help kick a cold, but bone broth made with spice and aromatics will do the trick on its own. Perfect meal for these cold winter days. read more

Had a couple of horrible experiences in the past but I'm over it. The bowls are huge, plenty of decent quality meat, and the prices are still pretty good. This time, there were no server's thumbs in my bowl. The broth was excellent but I still prefer pho 75's on adams. Never-the-less this place is definitely worthy. read more

Very popular Pho restaurant in South Philly's Vietnam Town. The Pho was excellent, the spring rolls delicious and the service fast. I would have given it a higher rating but the place did not seem very clean, especially the restrooms. Cash only and no liquor. read more

Best pho in the city. Though it is filled with delicious noodles and things, it is the incredibly flavorful broth that is truly the star of the show. I could just drink a bucket of that stuff and I tend to prefer thick soups and stews. read more

This was only my second opportunity to try some Pho, while I find the food to be good it is safe to say it will not replace many of my favorites types of food. I had the noodles with pork and prawns (shrimp), not in a broth, at first i was delighted with my dinner, but after the toppings of pork and shrimp were quickly finished I found the majority of the dish was just noodles and shredded lettuce. Pho Ha is the shit. I was a Pho n00b when I first ate here and ordered the most basic bowl I could think of, and even that was delicious. Over time I've tried a good variety of their menu and everything I've had has been delicious and filling. A small bowl is enough to fill me up, and a large bowl is probably enough for two people. The prices are also right: everything is super inexpensive for the amount of food you get, and your food comes very quickly. Amazing pho!!!! Hands down the best place I have ever had in Philly :) I always order pho noodle soup from this place, and the amount of the noodle they put in a bowl is just beyond enough :) on a hungry day, I myself can finish a large bowl at any other places, but I can't finish at this place cuz there is just so much noodle!! The soup is delicious, however if you are allergic to MSG, please DO NOT try any of this stuff as the viet pho soup is famous for containing MSG in it, and this place is no exception. Besides the thirst afterwards, and sleepiness caused by msg , i love the food just fine :) I also had their fried egg rolls couple times, very crisp and fresh too, I once joked if they were rolling them in the kitchen as they were ordered :) Overall, its a good place to have a bowl of hot noodle soup, you won't be disappointed :) read more

After reading countless favored reviews and hearing from multiple sources that this was the best pho in the city, I thought I needed to give it a try. It was really average, and far less superior than Pho Saigon just up the street. The broth was very thin, seemed like it was a rush job.I also ordered cha gio, which was not anything to write home about. The place is definitley popular, but it doesn't get my endorsement. I still go Pho Saigon/Pho Ga Thanh Thanh if I can't score it homemade. read more

I came by in the afternoon on a weekend. Even though it wasn't exactly mealtime, there were a couple occupied tables. It's a very casual space with almost minimal furnishing. Overall, the staff was to the point and quick. I got a small bowl of pho with meatballs and brisket. Their small size is actually a huge bowl, more than enough for a very late lunch in my case. The pho was served was an herb I've never seen before, but it was very good. Also, unlike other places I've been to, the broth contained some scallions and thinly sliced onions. The noodles were also more "al dente" than I've had at other places. Our bowls arrived steaming. The broth was fragrant and delicious. The brisket was tender and so flavorful. I wasn't as big of a fan of the meatballs, though. There were quite a few tendon-like chunks in there. Overall, a great food experience I'd love to repeat. Fabulous pho and bun. The pho comes out streaming hot instantly. Seriously goods eats! The only two things to note are that it's cash only, and that they're aren't any vegetarian options. I had no problem ordering a regular dish and giving the meat to my husband. read more

I've been a very satisfied customer of this place, but my last experience changed my whole point of view. Last Sunday (10/30/2016), I ordered two large bowls of pho for take-out. After having them, my whole family got sick - my wife and I started having bad headaches, and my baby girl threw up three times. The broth was sour a bit, so I am assuming they used old broth. Not a Pho expert- only had it a handful of times- but don't know how it gets better than this. You're seated with tea and your food within probably 90 seconds. A large plate of bean sprouts, limes, basil, jalapenos, and some herb that looked like lettuce but tasted like cilantro, only more peppery, were immediately placed on our table. We ordered smalls and they were enormous- I'm thinking the large would be great for two people, but how do you split a bowl of pho? Very very good. read more

Pho Ha- it named that because thats what i said once i left......HA 1 word describes this place..... SKIMPY The menu is very weird, not a traditional vietnamese menu layout. they only have 2 appetizers. My summer roll was one of the worst ive had- almost hard wrap and only 2 slices of shrimp! theres always 3!!!! but the sauce was rlly good. The pho was "pretty good" but not as good as Choo choo's on Race st in chinatown. The broth was good, they gave you lots of noodles, but the meat was SKIMPY. Not a fan of their pho for some reason. It just seemed too bland. (I'm not paying $7 for a bowl of water with hoison sauce and sriracha!) Even my non-Vietnamese boyfriend could tell there was a lack of flavor and spices. Their bun thit nuong was pretty flavorful but too small of proportion, which could explain why it tasted drier than I prefer. There are way better Vietnamese places within a 0.5 mile distance. read more

This is my favorite Pho anywhere. First it's all about the broth which is rich and clear. What ever the meat ingredient it is plentiful and served with a variety of fresh garnishes. What a great place! Busy place in a very busy Vietnamese shopping plaza, but the food comes out in 5 minutes. The typical Pho costs about $6 and is enough for a meal and a half. I ordered a number 1 and number 2 and the beef in both was top quality, as were the "add ins." I thought it might be a bit intimidating going in to order, but the manager and the waiter that took my order were friendly and helpful in deciding on a dish. I will certainly go back! read more
