I love places that are inexpensive, fast and efficient with their service as well as tasty...you can obviously tell where I'm going with this. I usually come here for lunch when I'm craving pho and if I happen to be in the area. So, if you're in the area go try it out (You won't be disappointed). The noodles were not too soft and not too hard. After trying more pho places than I can remember, I believe this is my number 2 place to go to in SGV. I ordered pho combo with everything but only discovered after got back in the office that I got nothing but well cooked beef and noodle and nothing else! And they charged me $11 for this? Amazing pho and great service! I ordered the pho bac which is their filet mignon with thick rice noodles... And it was bomb. Broth was full of flavor and no msg was present. Owners were super adorable too, and service was quick and prompt food came out in literally a matter of minutes. Definitely will be coming back! read more

First time here today and was so disappointed. I dont understand why its so crowded. The service was terrible . Not the fault of waiters or waitress but it's tge restaurant that don't hire enough workers and that we had no service but sit in unclean tables for at least 15 mins after seated. Everything is dirty from the sticky tables to the spoons and chopsticks. It gave me a very uncomfortable feeling to use their utensils. Come down to Pho was even more disappointed. Yes, the beef and the fat noodles are good quality but the most important elementsnof Pho is the broth that did not even smell nor taste like an ORDINARY/ TRADITIONAL PHO. It was absolutely MIA the taste and smell of Pho. So plain! Weird taste like they cooked it with coconut oil. Ridiculous for the overchargeg price. Would never return! read more

the restaurant is family owned and the childern run the place. if you're looking for more than pho, sorry my friends, look elsewhere. the name on the sign says PHO, not fusion, Huynh. my wife and I go here almost religiously every Sunday afternoon for the last 2 years or so. I've been to a lot of pho places, but for me, hands down the northern Pho here all I ever order. I don't even need a menu. it usually gets busy from 11-1pm on the weekends, but the wait is not long. one thing I will advise people on. when you sit at a table, wipe the spoons and small dish used for your dipping sauce really good with napkins and use the throw-away wooden chopsticks in the packaging. read more

My favorite Pho place! Pho Bac is popular here. I usually get Pho Tai, but occasionally crave the Pho Bac. They got the soup base right! That is so important - the soup base! I've seen buckets of beef bones they use for their broth or bouillon. It's authentic alright! You can taste it! The taste is fabulous and nutritious too! This is my go-to place for Pho. And unlike other places, they ONLY serve Pho. When you concentrate on one thing, it's bound to be good and here, it's phenomenal. The soup base is very little MSG, lots of beef bones, and lots of flavor. I personally don't recommend the pho bac because I don't quite like the ginger or the noodles used. There's nothing wrong with them but I just like the usual pho noodles and the ginger seems to overpower the other flavors of the soup. I would recommend the Pho Tai Gan which is beef slices and tendon with the usual pho noodles. Oh and I have to say their satay sauce that they have on the table beats the hoisin and sriracha combination. And note that this place doesn't provide much service, it is simply a casual place where you can get a quick, inexpensive, and tasty meal. read more

Let me start by saying the pho' tai was pretty descent. I like that their menu is simple, all they have is different types of northern and southern style phos. This is definitely the place if you only want pho. It's pretty interesting that they serve all their pho dac in metal bowls which is pretty cool, wished all the phos came in those. The portions are generous but the large isn't very large. I have a big appetite and it doesn't seem there is a major difference between the small and large bowls. The service was good. We received 2 pho's within 1 minute of making our order, which I have no problem with that. We did order a Thai Tea but the server brought us regular tea, but I wasn't there for the Thai Tea......so oh well. A little disappointed but wasn't a big deal. I would come back again but this pho connoisseur wouldn't say it's one of my favorite places. Overall it was an ok place if you like basic pho. Street parking is available and there's also a small parking lot in the back. It usually gets really packed for breakfast and lunch. read more

This pho place is delicious!!!! Because there are no good pho places in arcadia. So i yelped this place. The only thing to get is the pho bac (filet migon pho). At first i was looking for it but the menu is kinda confusinf if u dont know how to read Chinese. The soup is best when you do not add any basil, mint, or ANYTHING. the flavor of the soup is so delixious compared to ordinary pho. Its quiet pricey at 6 75 for a small- medium sized bowl. The food came out sooo fast, it was faster than our drinks. We probably waited for about 3 min total. The service is not "kind" but come for the food and cleanliness of a pho resturant. read more

Pho Huynh is the real deal. I've been to just about every pho restaurant from New York to L.A. and finally stopped searching when I found this place. I drive almost an hour every week for their pho. The broth is flavorful and light, the meat plentiful, service is fast and prices are reasonable. They only serve pho and don't mess around with spring rolls and everything else, which is as it should be. One of the best parts about my upcoming move to a new house is it'll shave 30 minutes off my commute to Pho Huynh. Love this place. read more

The quality of the food for this place went down. I smell pig in my broth.. It's like they use dirty pig bones to cook the broth instead of cow bones. There's also a lot of msg in the broth, it makes me so thirsty after eating just the noodles only. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. Shrimp Noodle Pho Is Awesome. The Shrimp Were Very Good Size The Portion That Was Provided With The Noodle Was Great. The Broth Is Very Tasty Has Good Hearty Flavor. What can i say if you haven't been here you've been missing out!! I'm addicted! i know food well and they don't skip on ingredients. The Pho Bac filet mignon is superb. Their broth is rich and the veggies very crisp. The service is on point their very attentive and nice. I go atleast 3 times a week its that good! me and the gf were dreaming about pho yesterday while braving the wind on hilltop park in signal hill for javier's bacon-wrapped hot dog event. john l. (not the infamous j-lewd, though he was there too) recommended this place. it was exactly where he said it was- across the street from mr. baguette and next to an auto repair shop. he told me to get the #1 pho with filet mignon in the metal bowl. at first, i was gunna go with the #2 meat combo which had the tendon, tripe etc. but after seeing just about everyone else in the house eating outta the metal bowl, i changed my order to the #1. so glad i did. the broth had a pleasant flavor. not strong nor salty, but just right. it was filled with green onion and came with plenty of garnishes- bean sprouts, lime, jalapeno slices, stalks of basil, and some leaf i didn't know the name of. the standard condiments (hoisin, sriracha sauce, fish sauce, chili oil, salt and pepper) were on every table. i really enjoyed the perfectly-boiled, fettuccine-sized rice noodles as well as the plentiful, diced, tender pieces of filet mignon. it provided the exclamation point for a fine lunch. the service was real quick and efficient. all they serve is a bunch of different pho, but there's really no reason to read past the #1. after the meal, i went up to the register to pay. the number of your table is on the soup spoon and chopsticks holder. sure, they're cash-only. but not having ten bucks in the wallet is a you problem.... ; )~ read more
