What a find! Was looking for the Chinese place that used to be in Wheatland, but found Pho J Love's instead and what a treat. The food was wonderful and the proprietor is enchanting. He's excited about the food he serves and encourages questions, of which I had many as we'd never eaten Vietnamese food before. One caution; the servings are LARGE. I don't know what we had, it was something he suggested, a salad of some kind and it was wonderful. What a lovely spot in an a not so diverse area . I have been in around this area for about 16 plus years and there are not many ethnic places to eat around this area . But this spot is bright spot in a dim area . First off customer service was super he even gave a discount secondly the food i put my hungry face to was super S&P wings and shrimp , egg rolls and pot stickers where all outstanding and big and flavorful . The only item i had an issue with was the bah mi kinda on the meh side as the bread was not the normal kind you get and the over all sando was not that great which is why this is a 4.789 star review . But with all that said this spot is definitely worth a trip they cut down the menu they say to focus on items that sell which in my book and gordon Ramsey is a thing a restaurant should always do . Decided to give this place a try today. Since moving to the area finding a good Chinese/Pho restaurant has been proven difficult. Today we opted for Chinese. We ordered the Shanghai Pan Fried Noodles, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Salt & Pepper Wings. Food was cooked to perfection. I must say the honey walnut shrimp was probably the best I have ever had! Shrimp was fresh and plump. The noodles had so much flavor and the veggies we fresh with the perfect crunch. The wings were perfectly seasoned, crispy and juicy. Pho was nasty and bland. Customer service could be better. Older Asian lady that took our order didn't speak or write in English so it was hard to understand if she got our order right. After attempting to ask and confirm by pointing to the menu, she let out a big sigh, rolled her eyes and nodded yes and left our table. My family and work friends had dinner here on our way to a concert in Wheatland. I guess the owners have changed as we were expecting Vietnamese cuisine. There is still Pho, but the rest of the menu is made up of Chinese food. And their selection of pho condiments are not many. The new owners and staff are nice and friendly. The chicken wings is the star of all the dishes we ordered. It's what stood out. We ordered pho, general chicken, broccoli chicken, Mongolian beef, and 2 more dishes that I can't seem to remember (as we didn't really do family style). Adding another updated review since I've been coming here for a couple years now. Normally I'd order pho but a Chinese menu was added recently so I tried the Won Ton Soup (take out) for the first time! The broth is light, not too salty and absolutely delicious. The selection of veggies complemented the broth and were cooked perfectly tender. I believe they added small slices of char shu pork and this paired well with the veggies. The meat inside of the won tons were tender and on the sweeter side which was a pleasant surprise since I've tried won ton soups from other restaurants where the meat was much more bland. I was really craving for Vietnamese eggrolls and this place was the closest I could get some which was about a 15-20 min drive. I placed a phone to go order with Kevin. Pork eggrolls, vermicelli noodle and a large beef pho. Food was good except for the strand of hair we found at the bottom of the togo container where the noodles were in. Good thing we had a pack of pho noodles in our fridge so we used that instead. We understand things happens, I hope they use all the precautions when packaging food to prevent this from happening again. This is the reason why I'm giving them a 3 star. read more

Gotta try Pho J Love's fried calamari and chicken wings with fish sauce. For the fried calamari, the coat was super crunchy and the calamari didn't have that "seafood" taste/smell but very tender. As for the chicken wings, it was well seasoned from inside out. Recommend to eat those dishes at the restaurant. We had the Springrolls as well but didn't have the picture (too busy eating ). Best Pho ever! You can just taste the authenticity of the beef broth that is 100% beef. It's rich with flavor and doesn't use powder or concentrates like many other places. I enjoyed the talk with the owner, he was very polite, informative, and very passionate about the high quality beef bone broth, even took the time to the differences between his and others. I found him very genuine. The Pho was served with fresh sprouts and basil. The Pho had a great buttery flavor and was literally the best I've ever had. We ordered the J love wings and salt and pepper wings. I'm always afraid that the wings would come out overly soaked with sauce. We were pleased when the wings cashew out with just enough sauce to complement the flavor of the fresh fried wings. Take note that J child's their wings from raw and don't do the typical precook and re-fry. This is very noticeable as the wings stayed hot from the the first to the last wing. If you love Pho, then you'll really love the true authenticity of Js Pho and get his J Love Special Fish Sauce Chicken Wings too, you won't regret it (don't get fooledby the name!).
