Pho KC Vietnamese Restaurant recently opened. The restaurant is casual but also is new and modern. They offer most of your usual Vietnamese Favorites. We wanted to start out with the Potstickers but I hit them when they were all sold out of them so we just went to the entrees. I had the Stir Fried Lemongrass Chicken with Mixed Vegetables Rice Plate. The Chicken seemed like good quality chicken because the white meat was moist and tender and just melted in my mouth. The Asian flavored sauce was delicious and laced with lemongrass as promised. My plate came with a generous amount of fresh steamed rice and tender crisp vegetables such as baby bok choy, broccoli and carrots. It was a delicious plate there is no reason why anyone wouldn't like it. Some people might point out that fish sauce sauce should be served with this plate. Other sauces are available on the table. My husband loves Oxtail so he ordered the Oxtail Pho. He said the clear broth was delicious. He thought it was really good and was spicy. As delicious as the broth was the dish wasn't perfect and not all of the three pieces of Oxtail were edible. He could only chew the meat off of the small piece the two bigger pieces weren't ready yet. But this is a newly opened restaurant and they are still finding their way. The woman who took care of us was very attentive and eager to make sure we were pleased. 3.5 (because of some undercooked Oxtail but bumped up to 4 stars because they are new) Worth a Try! read more

She was familiar with the food enough to make amazing suggestions. They have some things that are truly unique like the beef lover salad. The Spring rolls are absolutely the best I have ever had. We are a mixed race family with 2 toddlers. My family moved here 8/2022. Disappointed many times with Vietnamese restaurants here, since I am Vietnamese I can tell you the food here is very good. I had Bun Bo Xao, my husband had Pho and kids had Hu Tieu xao. They are all good. I love mine, nice balance on the sauce, meat marinated well not too dried when they came out. Service and atmosphere are very friendly. Small and cozy place for family and friends. Price range is acceptable compared to local restaurants. We will be back soon! read more

This restaurant is very mediocre. It took me 20 minutes to get water delivered to my table from the point in which I sat down and then an additional 15 minutes to get my food. Only for the food to be under seasoned. The pho broth was weak in taste. The grilled pork rolls with peanut sauce were pretty good but I didn't see the traditional carrot slices in there. The signage at the cash register also let you know that you as the customer will be responsible for the 3% processing fee. I have a strict rule about places like this and it's to never return to them. I asked the customer will not pay for your cost of excepting payment from me. Build it into the price of your menu items if you genuinely cannot afford people to pay with card. Cash is a great way to lie on your taxes. Came here around lunch time on a Friday. Wasn't too busy. You can see yourself if you desire to. There is only one waitress working the tables. Service was pretty quick no issues there. Location is close to Midwestern University. In a Plaza. Parking is easy due to parking lot. Inside is clean. Restroom was okay as well. Price: Price for most of the pho, were around $9 -$11 range, which is okay if you get the right amount for the price you're paying. Definitely not on the cheaper side. Food: I got these pho Tai with out tendon. Number 16. Check photo for visualization. So, quantity of the noodle is little. Quantity of the beef is even less. There was maybe six slices of beef. The amount of noodle is definitely on the Lesser side compared to other places. The broth was okay, it wasn't too greasy, but nothing spectacular. The side plate with the bean sprouts in the men in the jalapeno, is like all the other places. No issues there. Overall, for the price you're paying, I was expecting to have more quantity in terms of the noodle and the beef. However that wasn't the case here. But I may need to compare this place to other pho places in Arizona. Because I'm basing my comparison with California and Texas. If this is the only pho place in this area, you could come check it out. However if you're really hungry, you probably won't get full. The service was good though. Pho KC is in a small shopping center on the corner of 59th and Union Hills. It's nestled among Eastwind sushi, Haldi Indian food, Salad n Go, and CVS. The staff is friendly and very quick. We've been here twice and it's hasn't disappointed us. First time, I ordered the Pho with brisket and rare steak with extra noodles and G ordered the Cornish hen and fried rice. We also ordered the fried dumplings and all of it was FANTASTIC. The food was piping hot when it came out, the pho broth was flavorful, rich and just so good. The rice and Cornish hen were seasoned well, not greasy and cooked just right. On our second trip, we brought my adult child and she enjoyed the food too. They even remembered us when we came in. My sister really liked this place so I decided to try them out. I'm a bit selective when it comes to eating at Vietnamese restaurants since my mom is a really good cook. I found this place after getting my car serviced and was in the mood for pho. They open at 9AM which is great because all the other pho places open at 11AM. I ordered the #12 Rare Steak and Brisket pho and a Grilled Pork báhn mì. The flavor of the broth was consistent but the meat was tough and tasted well-done. The báhn mì had a crunchy warm baguette and fresh ingredients but minimal grilled pork. Service was absent for being the first and only customer but I could see him helping in the kitchen. Decided to try another Pho place that was near my area but wasn't blown away. The broth was good but had too much of a funky taste so I had to load up the chili paste, hoisen, and all the fixens. It may be ok for others but that taste/smell just turns me off. The broth was much fattier than other broths I've had. You can see if you zoom closely into the broth. I love eating pho here in a very non traditional way; I add less noodles and ask for a ton of veggies.
