I made an eye appt at a nearby optometrist and this was my first time in this Metro center. I looked at reviews for the restaurants and decided on Pho Koi since they have boba. Ordering online for pickup is a breeze and I had faith that the ordering system would work well since the Pho Koi team seems very adept at technology. They have a QR code on their window so anyone can easily see their menu and they're also on IG. I ordered 2 of the seafood/chicken/veggie soft egg noodle plates and the to-go presentation was very nice. I actually expected the ingredients on top of a bed of noodles but was given a side of noodles and a soup bowl of everything else. I noticed that the ingredients were plentiful and a lot of care was taken to ensure all veggies were evenly added (baby corn, bok choy, cabbage, carrots, broccoli...) The Thai tea with boba is delicious. I usually don't opt for boba but I'm glad I did because they were the perfect texture and taste. In this pandemic era, I am ALL ABOUT efficient online ordering and easy pickup and this place delivered that along with quality food and service so I will definitely be back. I can't believe how good this food is!!! I have been looking forward to Pho Koi to open since I saw the signs in January. It opened this week and what a hit!! The Pho broth is the best I have had in the area plus LA county. The Egg Rolls were brought out HOT and amazing. They even taught me how to properly eat the wrap. That just elevated the experience to a WHOLE new level. I experienced a mouth full of sweet, sour, savory, blended goodness that cannot be compared to other egg roll experiences. The pho here is really good. The broth is full flavored and they have good quality proteins. My one gripe is that they don't give you very much noodles in a large bowl. I normally leave pho places feeling satisfied, but after finishing the bowl here I was already thinking of picking up a second lunch. My friend ordered the pork vermicelli and they definitely pile on the meat! They use a medium sized vermicelli noodle here. I'm personally a fan of the thinner vermicelli. read more

We ordered 2 Pork Chops items and a Charbroiled meat through Door Dash, Pho Koi only sent 1 of each, so we are missing 1 order ( we were charged for the 3 items), we complained to Pho Koi and were told they can't refund us the Money and that we have to go through DD and they can't send the missing item either and want us to do the work and call DD for refund instead of them taking care of THEIR mistake, then, we were on hold for over 15 minutes with DD app and did not get any response, very bad customer service, instead of quickly fixing a mistake and send us the missing item, they had escalated the issue for us, we're hungry and now had to deal with getting refund, which apparently had to go through a freaking 24 hour review before we can get our money back, will not order from Pho Koi ever again, the person at Pho Koi keeps talking over me while I'm explaining to him what happened too, very rude. there's many Vietnamese restaurants around, you just lost our business read more

This place is freaking crowded, and I will not be dining in any time soon, until it is safe to do so. I think because its colder now, people just want a hot bowl of pho to warm their bones. Understandable -- I ordered pho in the summer time once because of a craving, these pho restaurants probably make the bulk of their money during the fall and winter season. Actually, spring and winter in SoCal, since fall doesn't always mean cold around here in California. With that said... We actually came in during a rainy night, and they had a line -- despite social distancing and a long list, we just wanted take-out. And they immediately took our order up at the check out register. They took about 15-20 minutes -- took a detour down the street at Target to kill the time. Actually, this soup is the best soup I've tasted in Corona -- shocking, to be honest. We will be back for this reason alone. However, we did try to call their business phone number several times (2-3 times, no answers!) and could not get anyone on the phone. Despite all the closures from Covid this place is a safe place to get takeout. Right now they only have take out but as soon as it opens up for dine in I'll be there with the family. VEGETARIANS BEWARE!! I ate here a couple times since they opened and enjoyed it but tonight I'm not even able to finish my meal. I ordered vegetarian pho which is specifically listed on their menu as "vegetarian" and I found bits of meat (I don't know what kind of meat because I have been vegetarian for years) but it's meat nonetheless and now I can't finish my meal because I'm so repulsed. What makes it even worse is that I don't feel like going back to complain again because I already went out of my way to turn around my car and go back to the store when I FOUND A HAIR on my spring roll. Such deliciousness awaited us at this modern restaurant. It's located inside the Metro at Main plaza next to Kickin' Crab so parking is aplenty. Service was on point and everything they recommended us was delicious. Definitely get the fried egg rolls and the combination pho, that soup is so freaking flavorful, and that's coming from someone who's had her share of pho in the Garden Grove area. The garlic shaken beef and regular spring roll was good also, very large portion sizes, my two friends and I shared and had plenty of leftovers. We chose to dine in since it was fairly empty and the place was spacious enough to sit every other table. I ordered the chicken pho, chicken is tender not dry, and broth is good. The service here is what kills it, sadly. The ambience in here is nice, restrooms are clean. I walked in here about 8:05 PM got my food shortly after and in the middle of eating, they bring me my check and asked me to pay because they have to go. They're staring us down making us feel rushed, I felt very uncomfortable. Maybe they shouldn't take customers half an hour before they close.
