Pho #7, BBQ Pork w/ Egg Roll and Vermicelli, Shredded Pork Roll
    Kathleen P.

Parking was a breeze in the Seafood City lot, and the restaurant is conveniently located to the left once you enter. We checked in at the cash register to get seated. We had the beef pho with thinly sliced steak, well-done brisket, and flank, which I didn't realize came in small, medium, and large sizes (though the menu only listed one price, so I'm not sure of the difference). The BBQ pork with egg roll and vermicelli was so good that it actually inspired us to try making it at home. The shredded pork roll also paired perfectly with the sauce that came with the BBQ pork dish. If this is on the menu, 9 times out of 10 it's gonna be an authentic spot. My only recommendation would be to ensure tables and cups are cleaned more thoroughly between customers as ours still had some crumbs. That aside, the food was fantastic and tasted super amazing. Everything came out impressively fast too.

My family and I are regular customers of Pho Lee Hoa Phat 1 in Pleasant Hill. Recently, a Vietnamese acquaintance of mine told me he prefers Pho Lee Hoa Phat 5 in Concord because of larger portions and cheaper prices. Intrigued by this information, my family and decided to give this place a try on 06/19/2024. This family-owned shop is located in the food court area of Seafood City Supermarket. It was about 5:30pm when we walked in, and the owners were busy in the back. After our presence was noticed by the female owner, we were immediately greeted and seated. The space was tiny, but clean and pretty well organized. The walls were decorated with pictures of food and beautiful scenery. The menu here was near identical to that of its sister restaurants. We got three bowls of Pho Dac Biet Xe Lua ($13 each) and an order of Goi Cuon (fresh spring rolls) to share ($10). Prices were the same as their sister restaurant in Pleasant Hill. Our food arrived quickly. Comparing to their Pleasant Hill location, the Pho Dac Biet here was served in a smaller bowl and the quantity and quality were pretty much the same. The same could be said about the spring rolls. They were nicely wrapped and tasted fresh. Service we received was good. The female owner was really sweet and treated us well. She refilled our water on a couple occasions, and she was really nice to my mom, which I appreciated very much. To sum it up, I found the prices, quality, and quantity here to be the same as their Pleasant Hill location. As such, you will not gain or lose anything by choosing one over the other. 4 stars. BONUS MATERIAL: - Major credit cards accepted. However, they prefer cash. - Ample parking on site. - Not open on Tuesdays.

One of my favorite pho spots -- especially after shopping at Seafood City. The broth is rich and flavorful, the portions are generous, and the grilled pork with egg and shrimp cake over rice is a must-try. Service is always quick, and they bring out plenty of fresh herbs and condiments so you can customize your bowl just how you like it. A perfect go-to spot for comforting Vietnamese food in the area.

Good solid pho. I've had a lot of pho in my life meaning I can be a bit picky so please keep that in mind. We ordered a small rare steak pho and then a normal combination pho, which I'm assuming is a large one. I took a picture for reference. I love when there are size options for pho because of the affordability and option to really make sure you don't leave any food waste. Pho doesn't do well overnight without separating the noodle and Broth in different containers, so I prefer to finish it all in one sitting. Pho analysis: the broth had good flavor and is enjoyable without any added condiments. I love to have a good amount of green herbs in my pho so I appreciated that it came with a solid amount. Not the most, but not the least. There was plenty of meat in both the combination and rare steak pho. Sometimes the rare steak pho has much less when compared to the combination of multiple meat pho, but I felt like it was a very reasonable ratio. The onion slices are thinly sliced, which I prefer, I just wish there were more than a few. However, they have just enough green onion to make up for it. The egg rolls were very good, great filling by and nothing too soft or too hard. No complaints, all compliments for them. Also noticed they offer red viniger! I don't normally see it on the table of Vietnamese places so I wanted to give them points for options. From my experience, I have concluded this is a very reliable restaurant that will satisfy your craving for pho. I would give it a solid 8/10.

Good affordable food. The peanut sauce is one of the best in the area. Pho Bo is served with all the proper sides. I haven't tried the avocado milkshake

My family wanted to eat Vietnamese food and this is my parents go to place whenever we are in Concord. It's located in Seafood City Shopping Plaza and there is ample seating around the area. Bbq Pork rice plate with shredded pork skin: This is my all time favorite Vietnamese rice plate dish. It usually comes with the pork chop that is boned in, but I prefer the boneless version. It comes with your vegetables on the side and a bowl of broth. The pork was cooked nicely and there was a fair amount of it on the plate. The shredded pork skin is my favorite and I love the amount they give you. The meat was not too salty, and had a fair amount of flavor. The service was ok, since I had to repeatedly ask for my drink order. Overall, the food was great and I would come back again.

I order fresh spring rolls over the phone and pick them up when I have craving. Always fresh and come with a peanut butter dip made in-house. Placing a phone order is efficient. Select your meal and it will be ready immediately.

Value!! Hard to find these prices now a days. Food was good and so affordable because the portions were good. I got the grilled shrimp rice plate. It came with a chicken broth which was a nice starter. The sauce was really good, I added some chili sauce to spice it up. Definitely surprised that this place is empty.

This place is not bad. It's not the best and not the worst. Honestly, if I am in this Seafood city plaza, I'd rather go with one of the many Filipino food vendors. We order some pho, a bun thit nuong, and a com thit nuong. They satisfied a craving, but they were not very special.

Look! They are generous with their portions

This is our go to place for Pho. The owner is super sweet. We've been coming here for over 10 years and the owner remembers all of our orders because we always order the same thing. Their consistency on the soup flavor is one of the many reason why we keep coming back. They are also generous with meat portion. Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

So easy to walk past this place when shopping at Seafood City. There are so many good restaurants to try here in the food court, I've always passed this one by -- big mistake!

Service sucks. Ordered my food and drink and they left it on the counter without even announcing it was ready.

There is a lot of parking since it is in the Safeway shopping center in Downton PH. We were sat right away and looking at the menu, a lot of the dishes felt more modern than traditional (when I compare it to other Vietnamese restaurants I go to). Decided to go with my comfort dish, which is Grilled Pork Rice Plate. Grilled Pork Rice Plate: I opted for brown rice for a healthier approach. The pork was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. It was also not dry and had a good amount of flavor to it. It sat on a bed of lettuce, which gave it a nice presentation. Overall, a simple dish which I thoroughly enjoyed and had leftovers after. I had a great time eating lunch with my parents and my partner. I look forward to coming here again.

Took the fam to Pho Viet a couple times, and we all enjoyed it. The quality of the meats in the pho…read morewas noticeably higher quality than a lot of pho we've had, which justifies some of its higher price points. Thai tea was solid. For appetizers, we tried their crispy rolls. The husband couldn't eat these because they had some shrimp in them, but more for the kids and me. Came with a side of fish sauce, and overall was pretty tasty. My son isn't too big on pho, so he tried a pork chop plate and the garlic noodles. He said both were good. He ate it all, so actions match his words there. My daughter mentioned the chicken pho she had contained a lot of chicken and she likes it that way. She also noticed the better quality of meat and bigger portions. Their special pho is an XL size and comes with the shortrib on the bone. I need to come back here very hungry to devour that or at least split that and other stuff with a friend. I've had their other beef pho, and they were good. Def good quality beef. There was a time where I wanted a certain combo without the meatballs and requested they added more of their tendon and tripe instead, but it seems they just took out the meatballs since there were just a couple pieces of tendon in there. The noodles really cooked within the broth. It was interesting since the broth didn't feel too hot as I was able to eat / drink it right away, but the noodles ended up much softer than I'd like. Casual setting here with the tables, cashier, some TV on the walls, etc.

The minced pork sauce clung onto them really really well. The minced pork had a nice balance of sweet and savory, although it leaned towards a little sweeter than I personally prefer. But it wasn't a problem at all, since I was able to adjust the flavor to make it more savory by using the Chicken Granules, Cumin, Chili Oil, and White Pepper condiments. Overall, it was a very satisfying dish! We also tried their new shaved ice dessert. It wasn't like the Hawaiian style shaved ice which is based on frozen water, but more like Korean style Bingsoo with a milky shaved ice base. The flavor and texture were both good, but I thought it was missing the toppings. It relied solely on syrup, and I think it would've been much better with fresh fruit or other toppings to add more flavor. It was $5.99 per order as of July 2026.

What I liked about this place was the both was not too heavy or salty: just about right plain and simple. The ribs noodle was good. Amazingly the chicken wings were very good. Got Pig Ears and Cold noodles take out at the end: very good. Not too salty. Service was quick, accurate and finely. Very clean, simple store. Not overly decorated. Parking was easy. Thankfully, there were lots of other restaurants nearby, so we stopped here since the reviews looked good and it'd been a while since we'd had Burmese food. Decided to split the honey beef + garlic noodles with chicken and ended up ordering a house egg fried rice too because we were curious (and hungry). Everything was super tasty! Portions were pretty good and all 3 dishes were very flavorful. Our server was super nice and attentive + the carafe of water was quite welcomed as it was a pretty hot day. Parking wasn't hard to find (we came on a weekend morning), so we are probably gonna default to coming here since it's a lot easier to get to (+ food is just as good) compared the the Burmese restaurant in Walnut Creek!
