I want my pho mí or I want my pho ga, and occasionally I'll slam down some bun bo hue. Okay, maybe I ain't that basic... but still. I tend to stick to what I know. Decided to try their pho mí since I hadn't had it in a while. It hit the SPOOOT!!! First of all... that BROTH!. Oh yaaasss hunty!!! It's all in the broth and it be the truth. This broth is packed full of delicious flavor and then some. I love the fact that it isn't super salty or oily. The noods were perf. Egg noodles are my absolute favorite, and the ones here are firm and chewy. They load up their bowls with TONS of protein! Nice chunks of lean chicken, pork, and fish cake alongside plump-tastic shrimp. Finger-lickin', noodle sippin' GOOD!!! I ordered the large size and it was hearty and filling. For the price, you really can't beat it! Great flavors, great, quality, and nice portions for cheap. Also, let me not forget to give a little shoutout to that Thai iced tea right quick! Yes ma'am! I wanted to try this place since it's close by. I came in around 2:45pm on a weekday and the place was completely empty. Decided to give it a try anyway. I ordered the rare beef pho. At first glance, I noticed the broth was quite darker than I usually receive for pho and the taste was off. Next I noticed the large size seemed more like a medium. Normally the large pho bowls are a lot bigger. I usually order medium pho and get super full. I was able to finish the "large" and wasn't stuffed so it seems their sizes are kind of small. Regarding the service, it was somewhat mediocre. First, no one ever came to fill my water. I was choking on the chili oil at one point and still no one came to fill my water (and I was the only person there so it's not that hard to do). Next, the lady was refilling all the hoisin and sriracha sauces which is fine but she came to my table and took my hoisin and sriracha without even saying anything. Just a bit annoying as I'm still dining so why would you take the sauce while I'm still eating without asking me if I still want it or not. Although I like both types of noodles, the rice noodles stick together to the point of being difficult to break up when assembling the soup contents together. I ended up throwing some of the rice noodles away for that reason. I'll just get the egg noodles when I order takeout and get the rice noodles when I dine in (which I hope to do when COVID cases go down). The container the broth is in seems small for all of the different contents of the soup so I end up losing some broth after mixing everything together. Gave all the guts to the dogs except the shrimp.I knew what that was. My other issue was the boiling hot liquid in the plastic Togo container. Hmmmmm.... So without a doubt there plastic toxins in the soup. I think it'd be better if they have some tendons with the noodle. The fish cake was ok, it might've been fried longer than enough so it was a bit dry.
