The broth is perfect! They also steam their bean sprouts which is a nice touch. Although the owners are not Vietnamese but actually Chinese, the place is still a great pho place. Update: we usually get the #27 with no tripe and no tendon. Twice now they included tripe and tendon and out in less brisket and flank. We came in on a Sunday and it took us more than 5 mins to pay for our food. We may be looking for another pho place. read more

This is a Vietnamese-Chinese pho place. All of the patrons were Chinese/Taiwanese which I thought was funny. Where are the Vietnamese people? The owner spoke to me mostly in Mandarin, which was also unexpected. If you eat at a Vietnamese-Chinese pho place, then you should order Chicken pho because that's probably their specialty. Here is no exception. The broth has a natural sweetness coming from the chicken. It's very smooth and there's an umami-ness that rounds out the flavor. Absolutely no MSG used. It was excellent! I also appreciate that they pre-boil the bean sprouts served with the pho so it's less likely to dilute that fabulous broth. The ginger fish sauce was also delicious. It was perfectly balanced in fish sauce, sugar, and the pungency coming from raw ginger. The Beef pho was just OK to me. The noodles were cooked perfectly, but the broth felt weak, not as tasty as the chicken pho. It was also a bit oily for me. Go to Pho Filet if you want beef pho. Otherwise come here. Best food near Arcadia! I like to try a lot of pho places, and this place is by far the best in terms of tastiness and value. There's an overwhelming amount of food options to eat around here, but this is the pho spot worth coming back to. The plaza seemed kind of empty when I went. Love this place, their pho is authentic and to my liking. The owner is also always very kind to us. I usually get their French beef cubes with tomato sauced rice or the chicken pho. They have been beginning to sell a lot of new Vietnamese drinks, which taste amazing. I tried their Che 3 Mau, which is like a shaved ice desert, and it was so good. This review is for my take out order. I made my order over the phone, show up and waited about 5 minutes and I got my food. Came in on a Monday afternoon 4ish and there was no one dining in. Look like this restaurant just open. The Grand Opening sign is still hanging infront. I found this place on yelp. I'm the type of person that prefer to read the negative reviews. Seem like the beef pho are no good. I can see why. This restaurant appears to be a Chinese/Viet own. From my experience the chinese own Pho restaurant, their soup are low in msg; therefore, the soup appears to be bland, but I'm sure the soup is healthier than the ligit beef pho restaurant. From the to go menu, it appears they specialize in chicken. I went on the safe side and order the "Hai Nam Style Chicken Rice". The dish is a 4 stars rating because they gave me more white meat than dark, but I gave it an extra star because they gave me extra ginger sauce. I decided to give Pho LTK a try since they were close by and I was craving some home style hainan chicken. One word: DELICIOUS! Since covid, I have not had home style cooking in the longest and the dish here really hits the spot! Tastes just like home! The chicken was bone-in, well poached, and the ginger dipping sauce is AMAZING. It also came with the ginger scallion oil oh and some pickled veggies and cucumbers. The rice was also flavorful! I have grown up eating mostly Pho Ga and being away from my family and attending college in LA, I wanted something comforting. Pho LTK was a place that took me to a familiar place. Their Pho Ga was soothing to the soul and reminded me of my mother's. The owner was friendly and inviting, and made sure I enjoyed my meal. I'm SO HAPPY this place reopened!!! Been going to their original location for years and their chicken porridge is my absolute favorite! And the workers are so sweet. They seem to have bad luck at the old location though, I think one year a car drove into the restaurant, and then most recently it burnt down. No wonder they moved lol. Your standard classic beef noodle soup. It's nothing amazeballs but not bad either. The broth has more of an onion flavor to it which I don't mind but it's flavorful so that's a plus. On cold days it hits the spot. The portion is more than enough, I ordered takeout and one small order of pho dac biet #24, can feed two people. I'm not sure of the portions are for dine in though. I've ordered yellow Thai curry from a lot of places but have never seen it like this... with two chunks of potato, one hunk of carrot, and, oh yeah, horrifying scraps of chicken carcass. Mainly Unidentifiable bones cut in odd ways. Definitely a neck. And a drumstick with the meat already removed. And some parts I'm fairly certain were not chicken. I don't know what animal it was, but it was dark purpley brown with thick bones, way thicker than any chicken I've ever seen. The curry itself was vinegary and Gamey tasting, and a single spoonful made me ill. The chicken smelled rotten after pulling it out of the curry to take this picture. No, no, no. I may be rating this harshly as this is the food that I grow up with. Although, in my opinion, Savoy has changed a lot, it is still worth the drive to have HN chicken when comparing to Pho LTK. As for chicken pho, Pho LTK lack that chicken flavor broth thus they offer 2 types of noodle ( thin or thick). The chicken liver/gizzard tasted old like it has been in the refrigerator for awhile. I am spoil to be in a town where fresh chicken and gizzard/heart/liver/ eggs are easily accessible which makes my rating for this restaurant a little harsh. The service could be better if the waitress can speak other language than Taiwanese or was it Mandarin? It was difficult to order a sprite or 7up and had to used pictures to order food in addition to the drinks. Glad the owner was there.
