Pho LTK is my solution to everything. Whenever I am a little under the weather, feeling blue, catching a cold or suffering from a hangover, they have the perfect food to solve my problems. I used to eat at the original store in Monterey Park for years, and I was traumatized when the old location burned down. Even though this new location in El Monte is much smaller and I have to drive 15 minutes to get my noodles, it is worth the drive! Owner and staff always greet and serve us with a smile, and their noodles are so delicious. As far as I know, they do not use MSG at this restaurant. While they do have Beef Noodles at this restaurant, they specialize in Chicken. My personal favorites are: Bun Rieu (Shrimp and Crab Paste Soup with Vermicelli), Pho Ga (Chicken Noodle Soup) or Mien Ga (Clear Noodle Soup with Chicken). Another great item that you can try (especially if you are under the weather) is their Chao Ga (Chicken Porridge). Love this restaurant and the food they serve. Now I just have to start praying that the owner will expand his business back to the Monterey Park area so that I don't have to drive that far to satisfy my noodle cravings. read more

Pho LTK has the BEST pho ga (chicken noodle soup) in town! Usually when I go to Vietnamese place, I would order beef noodle soup. However, when I come to Pho LTK, I would only order chicken noodle soup! It's just so tasty and comforting! The soup is the best, I don't think they put MSG in it which is great! There's a huge parking at this location, so parking won't be a problem! Also, the owner was super nice and friendly. He always makes sure you're okay and satisfied. I ordered for pick up and I was not disappointed. I got the pho house special and some fried egg rolls. Came since I saw it was open on the morning and on the way home. I choose to get something I usually don't and got the French style Fried Beef Cubes on Tomato Sauced Rice. The food was just alright, it was freshly made and the beef was nicely tender with a generous helping of rice. That said it was a bit light on the amount of beef with more peppers and onions on the mix. The rice portion while large didn't really gain any step by flavor from the tomato sauce. Not sure how long this place has been here. Was craving noodles in the area and found this spot on Yelp. We have been to a different location before and they're pretty decent. Came here during lunch time on a weekend and so glad we didn't have to wait. It's a pretty small restaurant and does not have too many workers. The chicken noodle was pretty good and my niece and nephew enjoyed the chicken and rice. We also had the fried chicken with tomato rice and it didn't disappoint either. We were tempted to try the sesame balls; they were okay. Will definitely be back to this location. They seemed to be low on staff because it seemed like there was only one person doing everything. But the restaurant is quite small. Parking is very convenient in the large plaza. read more

I came across a post about this restaurant on SGV Eats and immediately ordered for lunch. We ordered a Pho Ga (their specialty), Pho Dac Biet, Fried Pork Egg Rolls, and a Banh Cuon. I don't usually get Pho Ga, but I have ordered it a couple times recently from different places, and at those places (is this the norm?) the broth is the same as the Pho beef broth. Here at Pho LTK, the Pho Ga comes with actual chicken broth! So refreshing. And I have a feeling that's how it's supposed to be done... haha. Everything else was also pretty good, but the Pho Ga is definitely the highlight. The pricing is also very reasonable at about $8.50 for a large pho. The egg rolls are also larger than your average ones! Much appreciated. Pho LTK is a small little mom and pop Vietnamese restaurant. They have a good selection of different items you would find anywhere else. Prices were very good and they do large and small portions. Pho Tai, small - $7.50 - Pho broth was a little darker then I am used to. It tasted beefy and was seasoned well though. Perfect amount of beef and noodles for a small size. honestly, they were nice, but my overall experience wasn't as pleasant. I ordered a chicken pho and the chicken wasn't as flavorful. I added my chili oil lime and all that stuff and it made it digestible. then as I ate, I saw a long black piece of hair. I was craving Vietnamese food, so I found this place and decided to give it a try-- this place will definitely be my new go to Vietnamese pho restaurant! I got takeout today and the pho, meats, and veggies were assembled nicely. When I got home, everything was still fresh and hot. I got the #19 spring rolls and the pho ga noodles that everyone was raving to me about. It did not disappoint. The workers were being very careful due to COVID-19. It was our first time trying this restaurant, and honestly, probably wouldn't have during normal times, but since it was on DoorDash, we decided to give it a try. What a great find! Wow what a hidden gem in the 626. I was recommended this pho shop by a friend who I went to college with and it lived up to the hype. Not being the biggest fan of pho, I decided to try the shrimp fried rice and steamed rolls with a Thai Tea to drink. All I can say is it was damn delicious. I went in because the place I normally go to and closer to my home was close due to a death in the family. I was craving my soup so bad that I decided to give this place a try. I'm so happy I gave them a chance. When I came in it was very lonely but also because it was almost going to be closing time. I ordered and good thing one of the employees in the back knew how to speak English because I was having a grad time explaining what I wanted to the person in the front. I came last weekend to try out this pho restaurant as it was a pretty gloomy day. I got Thai tea and the pho ga with chicken leg on the side. I like how they separate the noodles and the meat, and I love the ginger sauce that comes with it. They have outside dining with 3-4 tables that are far from each other. Once I sat down, the waitress brought me napkins and utensils, and wiped down the table for me again. Saw that this restaurant replaced lollicup when I drove by to go bowling so decided to try it out today. Its a small little place with about 8 tables or so. When we first walked in we were greeted and seated immediately. The waitress then brought us 2 cups of ice tea and gave us menus. I brought my brother to try this place with me. I originally wanted the vermicelli (bun thit nuong gia you) but they didn't have it at the time so i went for the rice & beef (com bo loc lac) & my brother got the broken rice & lemongrass pork (com suong). The food took a good 20-30 minutes or so to come out but it was worth the wait. Both meats were nice and juicy and not chewy or hard. The rice was also nicely cooked. Price wise i believe i paid 9.50$ for each plate, although Thats slightly pricier than normal, it's worth the price in my opinion. I dont know why i didn't order a Pho item since that's what they should be known for, but seeing that their rice items are good, i can only imagine how much better their Pho items are. Overall, i had a great first experience. Will be back to try the Pho noodles! read more
