A pretty decent pho/Vietnamese restaurant. It was empty when we arrived on a weekday for dinner. The service was very friendly, and the staff spoke both Vietnamese and English. The menu is quite large, offering a little bit of everything. Here are the two items I tried: Bun Rieu - This was pretty decent. I liked the ground meatballs that came with it, and the flavors were good. There were tons of noodles--I couldn't finish a large portion. Reasonably priced. (4/5) Hainan Chicken Rice - This was also pretty decent. The chicken was fresh, and the rice was flavorful. The soup that came with it was tasty. Overall, a solid dish. (4/5) Overall, this is a good spot if you're looking for Vietnamese food. Prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty. It also comes with iced tea! Note - They charge 4% extra for credit card payments, so bring cash. Parking - Large parking lot, so it's very easy to find a spot.

I was craving chicken pho since it was a chilly morning so I stopped by for early lunch. The restaurant is pretty small. They also had a large family dining when we arrived so most of the tables in the restaurant were used for that family. The staff quickly cleaned a small side table for us but unfortunately it was right by the door so every time the door opened, chilly wind would blow in. Service: The staff working were pretty friendly and accommodating. For some odd reason, they said they were out of stock for many menu items. We ordered half a chicken, a plain noodle, and some steamed rolls. Food took a LONG time to come out. It was also pretty strange that our noodles came out last. We were halfway done with the chicken before the noodles came out. Food: I really enjoyed the noodles and the chicken. The broth from the noodles was very rich in flavor. But I think the highlight was the chicken. The chicken was so tender! It was a little on the bland side but nothing a little sauce can't fix. Overall not a bad first time dining here. I think I will definitely be back to try them again and hopefully not catch them during their busy time.

Closed on Wednesdays. Cash preferred, credit card accepted. Friendly. Cooked to order, so be PATIENT, or order over the phone for pick up. To-go portions are generous compared to other Vietnamese places.

Mien Ga! I asked for chicken thighs.

Chicken was filling and good. The soup was good but needed some touch ups. Service was friendly and attentive, love that. Very casual ambiance and small. I was hoping it was the chewy glass noodles, but they gave me regular thin mung bean noodles, maybe they don't have the glass noodles anymore? But other than that, it's a nice spot. Very generous on the meat!

I love the Bun Bo Hue, the serving is large and extremely tasty. I also enjoyed talking with the owners, they are very warm-hearted and the love shows in the taste of the food.

Ordered some dishes to go. Showed up on the quoted time but had to wait for awhile. Order was packed neatly. I liked the flavor of the curry chicken, but there were lots of tiny broken bones in there so I had to eat very carefully. Chicken gizzard was dry and hard. Chicken pho was decent. Meat was tender but soup was light. Beef pho was my favorite. Deep flavor.

The food is amazing with great flavors, and the service is friendly and attentive. Overall a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended

Came here for lunch after bowling in the same plaza. Thanks to Yelp for sending me here. Really is like home cooking! I thoroughly enjoyed my bun thit nuong with egg rolls. Big portion and super fresh! Everyone else enjoyed their food. Small restaurant, food cooked when ordered so have patience. Highly recommend!

I saw this pho restaurant had good reviews so gave it a try for lunch. There was plenty of parking when I came around 12pm and no wait for a table either. We were seated fast and beat the rush because the tables filled up fast a while later. It is very casual here since it's not a large chain restaurant but their tables still got filled when it was lunch hour. We ordered the shrimp and crab paste soup w/ vermicili (11.50) and my friend got the beef tripe, tendon soup pho (11.99). We ordered the small bowl size. The food was ready in about 5 minutes which was fast. The shrimp and crab paste soup was pretty good but the noodle portion was a bit small even for a small size. The soup was nicely seasoned though and the meatballs were good too. My friend said the beef pho was pretty good too. It looked like it had a good portion of meat and noodles too. Overall, I think this is a decent pho place to eat out but there are better ones. The food is not bad and good parking. However, note that they do charge a credit card fee. I don't know what the minimum is because they didn't say until I already gave them my credit card. So that part was bad or I would have paid with cash or ordered more.

It is a nicely stacked bowl that has everything but the kitchen sink in it - roast pork belly, catfish, squid, eggplant, and stuffed jalapeno with fried fish cake. Very filling and reasonably priced! The only reason I gave this place a 4 instead of 5 rating is because you can only order certain items from the menu when they open. I grew up eating pho in Saigon and IYKYK, the pho in North America vs in Saigon are distinct. One isn't inherently better than the other, it's just a matter of taste. But, I was very pleasantly surprised that the pho here comes very close to pho in Saigon, a taste I've often craved (and this is also how I cook pho at home), but haven't been able to come across in North America. Didn't think I'd find it here in the SGV vs in Orange County where I lived for 10+ yrs. Broth at Viet Huong is richer vs the clear broth favored at most places here. The brisket (thịt chín) has a little bit more fat to it which makes it less dry, cut with a meatier cut vs paper thin. The rare beef is minced a little. All the good things that remind me of the good old Saigonese pho flavors. The staff is very friendly. They all speak English really well which made me doubt the authenticity of the food (lol) but that worry was put to rest soon after my pho bowl came out. This will become my new favorite pho place.

They also do catering, which I definitely plan on using in the future if I ever host a party or birthday because the food is just that good. I only had one issue during one of my visits. I can't eat cucumber, so I asked for no cucumber in both my pork dish and spring rolls. They accidentally still included it in my pork dish. Thankfully, when I brought it up, they fixed it quickly and apologized right away, which I appreciated a lot. I still love this place, but I do think it's important for people with allergies or food restrictions to double check their food before eating, just to be safe. Besides that, everything else has been amazing. The restaurant has a really calm atmosphere with lots of greenery and that open, cozy Vietnamese restaurant feel. There's a spacious parking lot but there's rarely any spots available and will require you to wait for a free one. The interior is honestly very pretty. It's decorated with overhead chandeliers with bright lights and marble tables. When your table is ready, they also give you a tray full of chopsticks, napkins, and forks. Each table also has hoisin, sriracha, chili sauce, and another sauce I'm not too sure about. After we ordered, I got my pho da biet maybe 5 minutes after. The cha gios also came out a few minutes after too. Unfortunately, my boyfriend's com tam was forgotten about until after I devoured my pho. We even asked them about it in the middle and it was checked on but we weren't updated and thought they had went ahead and cancelled it but it still came out. No biggy, we packed it to-go since we basically split the pho da biet. Food: Pho da biet (9.5/10): The pho was soooo delicious. It was meaty with a little bit of sweetness to it. This is one of the few places where I don't feel the need to sauce down my pho to enjoy it. There's a good amount of meat in here. If you're a tendon enjoyer, there's about 3 big chunks in here. I love the way they separate everything. If you order this, it comes with the stone bowl at no additional costs. They separate the noodles and ribeye on the side and let you "decorate" it yourself. There was also a good amount of noodles in here. Com tam (7.9/10): I thought that this one was just okay. We got the grilled pork and grilled pork chop and I thought that the meats were cooked perfectly. There was a nice char to the meats and it was seasoned deliciously. It came with a lot of rice and a side of soup to enjoy! I did enjoy this fish sauce more than the one that came with the egg rolls. Overall, I wish this dish came out the same time as the pho so we could've enjoyed it together. Cha gio/Imperial Rolls (7/10): I love egg rolls but this one didn't really stand out to me. It comes with a good amount of vegetables that you can use to wrap your egg rolls in. I wish the fish sauce that came with this was more salty. Maybe it was that day, but I couldn't really tell what was inside the filling. It was all mushed in together instead of different layers. The skin was very thin and crispy which I really liked!

The nem nuong rolls were so good -- each roll had a generous piece of nem nuong with that perfect smoky-sweet flavor. You can tell they don't skimp on the good stuff here. Every bite had a great balance of herbs, noodles, and that delicious grilled pork. The bun bo hue was a huge bowl of comfort. The broth was deeply flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and it came loaded with big, meaty pork feet and pork blood that made it feel extra hearty and authentic. Definitely one of those dishes that warms your soul. We also tried the banh beo. The flour mixture was a little on the thicker side, but it was still really tasty--especially with those crispy little pieces of pork fat on top that add such a great savory crunch. Stopped by Pho Yen on a random Tuesday for lunch. It's definitely a hole-in-the-wall type of spot,…read morebut honestly a hidden gem. Ordered the pho dac biet and it was legit. The rice noodles were cooked perfectly -- still had a nice bite to them instead of turning mushy like a lot of places do if you don't eat fast enough. The broth was noticeably lighter than most pho spots around here, which actually made it feel more authentic and closer to what you'd get in Vietnam. Meat portions were generous and the herbs were fresh, which always makes a difference. It seems like business is a little slow, probably because not many people know about it yet, but this is definitely a spot worth checking out if you're looking for authentic pho. I'll be recommending it to a few of my Vietnamese friends too.

Service was fast and the restaurant looks mostly the same as before, but the food itself was just alright. Here's what I tried: Pho Chin Bo Vien - Portion size was generous and very filling. The broth tasted okay but nothing memorable, and the noodles had a slight bite to them. Solid, but not standout. (3.5/5) Com Suon, Cha Trung - This dish was also just okay. The rice was mushy, likely from too much water. The pork was a bit fatty but decently seasoned. The egg portion was very small, though it did taste good. Overall, nothing special. (3.5/5) Would I come back? Honestly, probably not. With so many great pho spots nearby, this visit didn't stick with me the way it used to. I used to frequent this place, but this time it fell a bit flat.

For our family of seven, we always call ahead and order their famous baked medium catfish the day before so it's ready when we arrive for our reservation. It's always the highlight of the meal. We also never skip the 7 Courses of Beef and usually order two sets for the table. Everything is delicious and perfect for sharing family style. What keeps us coming back, beyond the amazing food, is the warm and welcoming family atmosphere. The staff always make us feel at home and Kevin is hands down the best! He's friendly, attentive and always helps make our celebrations feel extra special. Great food, great service, and a place that truly feels like family. Highly recommend for any family gathering or special occasion!

Our server, Kevin, truly made the night memorable. He is hilarious and charismatic, ensuring we were well taken care of while keeping everyone laughing throughout the entire meal. The food was fantastic, especially the large catfish we ordered along with several other dishes. A helpful tip for anyone planning a visit is to order the catfish in advance when you make your reservation, as it is a popular item that takes some time to prepare. The dining style is interactive and fun since you wrap your own rolls using the catfish and various meats accompanied by fresh vegetables and vermicelli. We were there celebrating a friend's birthday, and the staff was kind enough to keep our cake in the fridge until we were ready for dessert at the end of the night. Everything was delicious, and the service made the celebration even more special.
