Finally! Authentic, fresh, and tasteful Thai. My wife and I were searching for better Thai in the Roseville area. We found Nau Thai Cuisine on yelp and were enticed by the meaningful reviews. So, we dropped by and enjoyed a meal. We were graciously greeted and pleasantly served by Ting. We ordered the Fresh Shrimp Rolls appetizer and shared servings of Drunken Noodles and Khao Sol. Presentation was exceptional, meals were authentic, fresh, and perfectly blended (tasty!). The establishment is clean, comfortable, and has a pleasant ambiance. Darn it, I forgot to take the pictures. Let's come down to service, it was good. I had to request plates and bowls. Server had forgotten. Water glasses were dirty, we had to request new ones. Besides the minor hiccups, food didn't really let us down. The Tom Yum chicken was a little dry to my taste. Shrimp eggplant and shrimp Thai fried rice were delicious. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. We came to Nua Thai before and after the ownership change. The food is solid and came out hot. In total, we've tried the boat noodles, panang curry, mixed appetizers, and pad Thai. The satay chicken was flavorful and juicy. The appetizer seemed like enough for two people. This Thai Restaurant is located in the Hobby Lobby and Ross Shopping Plaza. I believe this was the former location of Khun Suda Thai Cuisine. It's a new owner, new decor, new staff. Everything was amazing - from the service, food and cleanliness of the restaurant. We ordered the Papaya Salad, Chicken Wings and Drunken Noodles to share. I really enjoyed the Papaya Salad - ingredients were very fresh and can't wait to go back for more of it. Chicken wings and Drunken Noodles were tasty, however, the noodles might've been a little overcooked and mushy. Flavor was on point though and that's all that mattered to us. This place is aesthetically pleasing the moment you walk into this small cozy place. Beautiful in the inside to presentation with each plate! We got the pad Thai which was good but can probably use some spice and lime on the side to top it off. The kids enjoy the chunky noodles in the pad see ew with beef. We would pass on the chicken satay the next time though as it was a bit harder for the kiddos to chew. But overall customer service was excellent and the price point is a bit up there but portion and quality makes up for it. Like any other places now the 18% gratuity is automatically added to the total bill which was ok as they did a great job making sure we had plenty of water and sharing plates and such. read more

I ordered fresh rolls with tofu & extra peanut sauce, basil stir fry with tofu, Drunken Noodle with chicken, and green papaya salad. The fresh rolls are freshly made and quite tasty - not as herbaceous as some. The peanut sauce was amazing. If you like peanut sauce, I definitely recommend you get extra. The papaya salad is some of the freshest and brightest that I've had. It was so so good. The drunken Noodle was very flavorful, as was the basil stir fry. Everything looked and tasted so fresh - I am so excited to have found this place. The best part is that it is 3 minutes from my husband's office. I see takeout in my future. The service was fantastic ... 35%+ tip fantastic. We had the roti & yellow curry. 9.5/10 ... The best we've ever had. The roti was piping hot, light flaky ... mouthwatering by itself. The yellow curry was the best I've ever hard. Just delicious and such nuance flavor-wise. It had a little unexpected sweetness that you could almost have as dessert, or in lieu of. We often order this as an appetizer ... we should get this last . AMAZING. We had their drunken noodles. Their version of Pad Kee Mao. The sauce/flavor was amazing, the chicken was the only mild disappointment of eating here. It wasn't bad in any way, just basic, not too moist or flavorful. I'd give this dish a 7.5-8. Our last dish was a special ... green curry with spinach noodles and crispy noodles, veggies, and crispy noodles. Spicy but not hot. Walked right up to too spicy for us... but settled perfectly right there. AMAZING. 9/10. There were only a few other tables of people. Some of the best fresh spring rolls I've had anywhere, with wonderful greens and mint! Served with excellent peanut sauce to dip! Also highly recommended! Last appetizer we tried was the rangoons. I had no idea we were walking in on this restaurant's opening day and on Valentine's Day! I was honestly impressed! It is rare for a brand new restaurant to have this level of quality, especially on their first night, which happened to be busy. We decided to splurge and ordered appetizers, main dishes, and desserts. Every single item was beautiful and delicious! There wasn't just one "star dish" and everything felt intentional and thoughtfully prepared from start to finish. We usually try a new Thai restaurant almost every week since there are so many in the area, but I think my family has officially found our home Thai spot! I hope they're here to stay! First, I want to say the staff here are very kind and welcoming, and the food presentation is beautiful. Unfortunately, the dishes didn't quite meet our expectations. The rice rolls only had about three pieces of shrimp for the entire plate and were mostly filled with lettuce and cucumber. My curry was just okay, a bit too sweet for my taste, and the chicken was dry. My husband's dish was also on the sweeter side. Restaurant was clean with plenty of seating and almost a full house there. They were busy and running a bit behind but I wasn't in a rush. They were very sweet and apologized repeatedly. They in turn brought me out some egg rolls and water while I waited, which I told them it wasn't a big deal. Food was flavorful, my favorite was the green curry and drunken noodles. Crab fried rice was delicious but I didn't see any lump crab as stated on the menu but could definitely taste it nonetheless. My wife liked the Pad Thai and my son loved his pineapple fried rice. My wife and I began with the Tom Kha soup with shrimp and were immediately impressed by the balanced sweetness of the coconut milk combined with lemongrass, ginger, and mushrooms. We enjoyed it so much, we ordered another serving to go. For our entrées, we both chose the drunken noodles (Pad Kee Mao) -- mine with beef and hers with shrimp. Once again, the flavors were beautifully blended with the noodles, Thai basil, and fresh vegetables. My only minor criticism was that the dish didn't have much natural heat, but the waitress quickly provided hot oil and sambal oelek chili paste so I could adjust the spice level to my preference.
